In fact, Chaudhary Naresh Tikait, the national president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, had come to the court in Muzaffarnagar on Monday i.e. April 4 to hear his case. Here some villagers of village Dulhera complained about Shahpur police beating a young man even after he was innocent and showed the marks of beating the young man. On this, Naresh Tikait reached the SSP office. At that time some BJP leaders were sitting in front of the SSP and SP City Satyanarayan Prajapat was sitting on the right side of the SSP. As soon as Naresh Tikait reached there, the SP City stood up and left. But the SSP asked him to sit down by pointing his hand, only this made the matter worse. Actually, Naresh Tikait felt that SP City was standing in respect on his arrival, which SSP felt bad and SSP asked him to sit and not leave the chair for Tikait. दरअसल,
भारतीय किसान यूनियन के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष चौधरी नरेश टिकैत सोमवार यानी 4 अप्रैल को मुजफ्फरनगर में अपने मुकदमें की सुनवाई के लिए कचहरी आए हुए थे। यहां पर ग्राम दुल्हेरा के कुछ ग्रामीणों ने शाहपुर पुलिस द्वारा एक युवक की निर्दोष होने के बाद भी पिटाई करने की शिकायत की और युवक की पिटाई के निशान दिखाएं। इस पर नरेश टिकैत एसएसपी दफ्तर पहुंच गए। उस वक्त भाजपा के कुछ नेता एसएसपी के सामने बैठे हुए थे और एसएसपी के दाएं ओर एसपी सिटी सत्यनारायण प्रजापत बैठे हुए थे।
जैसे ही नरेश टिकैत वहां पहुंचे तो एसपी सिटी खड़े होकर जाने लगे। लेकिन एसएसपी ने उन्हें हाथ से इशारा कर बैठने को कहा, बस यही से मामला बिगड़ गया।
दरअसल, नरेश टिकैत को ऐसा लगा कि
एसपी सिटी उनके आने पर सम्मान में खड़े हो रहे थे जो एसएसपी को खराब लगा और एसएसपी ने उन्हें बैठने और टिकैत के लिए कुर्सी न छोड़ने के लिए ऐसा कहा है।
