For the pancakes, there is actually oil to make it non stick in their videos. However, it's because they seasoned their pan/grill using a technique called "seasoning" that makes it non stick.
@@SuperRaedizzle - it's the same method that people use on new cast iron cookware/skillets. You have to be really careful to keep it up though with the cast iron cookware, or else they can go rusty very quickly (I know from first hand experience with a skillet that was gifted to me - I've got to remove all the rust and build-up so I can re-season it).
I'm not sure that is even a cooking surface they are making the Bluey pancake on. They are resting their hand on the surface while drawing. Despite the fact that I've been on this planet for 68 years, I am fairly new to RUclips, maybe 2 years now I think. My only social media was FB for many years, then I started an Insta account but it took me years to actually use it. The past few years I've used it to share all my artwork. But I had no clue of the rich and varied content of RUclips. Look at all I missed out on! Oh, and TikTok has never appealed to me for some reason, despite my granddaughter's attempts at getting me to use it. Any ways, the pancake challenges made it to FB and Insta, and they always mesmerized me. I tried some rudimentary art on it that only please small grandkids...lol Love your channel, BTW. Alwasy watch whatever you post!
You are so pretty without makeup. I'm eleven, and a lot of girls at school wear a lot of makeup, but I think everyone should be confident with their natural beauty.
When you mentioned Mark Crilley, I about lost my mind. I spoke with him via email back and forth back in 2008 at the beginning of my art exploration. He enjoyed a comic I used to post on Smackjeeves (yeah, I'm old lol) and sent me his 3 comic books as a gift. He used to give me tips about comic shading and everything, a really cool dude. And then my life completely turned over and I fell out of the art world. I had no idea he had gotten so big and was the originator of that hyper-realism. Crazy world!!
I remember back in the 90’s, my best friend in college was a bic automatic pencil and I still stand by this. My instructors gave me hell, but the drawings were superb with them
The first pancake is always a bummer in my house 😊 You did so good! I miss the challenges where things are a bit random - spinning wheels/dice to pick the style, medium etc.....or blindfold art supply choosing... seeing people out of their comfort zone and in anything is possible mode, no clue what will happen brings that joy and FAFO energy back to my art play. Too many rods up butts if you ask me. You rock. My favourite art tuber my a mile. Thanks Rae 😊
Rae gurl!!!!!!! OMG!!!! You literally slay! I mean I love you! I am a 13 year old girl, who loves art. Honestly before seeing ur channel my art style was animated characters. But after viewing your channel, I am in love with realism. My art teacher has given me so many opportunities because of the drawings I make at my age. You are truly an inspiration!!!!!! ❤❤❤
I started drawing at almost the same age at you and now I’m 23, I did start with realism mostly drawing animals and objects and now I’m drawing characters and anime LOL the opposite of you XD But I can still make realistic art and I do miss it and I drew portraits for my family members before so not bad having both styles !! I make videos of mostly characters and drawing from imagination
Hey Rae! i love you channel and honestly it’s helped me with my own art journey. As a 16 year old your hack videos and art history videos really peaked me interest, hope you keep on growing love you
The biggest art flex in 2020 was Posca-ing directly on your iPhone rather than painting cases. Also the trend of "backwards" painting animation characters on glass and clear phone cases. They'd show the globby base colors on the back and then flip it over to show all the details and line art. Was actually pretty cool and was good practice.
Woah these challenges really took me back to my younger self being so excited for all of the new challenges. Here I am still so excited to watch these videos lol
