Thanks Highly, it's just perfect. Piano, vocals the way she sang to the camera, amazing! That piano solo you could feel it building and then she hits us with the keychange. I really hope Mr. Richie gets to see this it's time for this girl to get a much larger audience. What a phenomenal talent you are Emily!!!
Hi Highly, it's Mick in the UK. Thank you so much for listening to the people and reacting to Emily's fabulous cover of Lionel Ritchie's Hello. It is simply amazing, both vocally and piano playing, and as for that unexpected key change...wow!!! Clint has already said that Lionel Ritchie should hear this. Can you help Highly? Just a thought? So anyhow, thank you once again. Take care, kind regards, Mick.
I told you bro. I have listened to it on repeat for hours. Her piano part is so far advanced from the original there’s just no comparison. Like MC Hammer, ‘can’t touch this!’😊
Hi Highly! Everything you say! But Emily sings this (and Plays) this song as if she means every word along with the acting, it feels as though she's singing to ME! ~ R
I'm 99% sure it's not live singing and 100% sure it's been pitch corrected. Yes, she still can sing very well but don't be under the illusion that it's a live,, raw performance. This is a rarity on YT nowadays.
Thank you for your interest. Emily has always recorded live in her own home studio, and more often than not, in one take. Her mom Christine records Emily on video as you see it. Following the initial live recording, Emily will sometimes add another instrument, but not in this case. Other times, Emily's guitar tutor, Simon Tomkins, will add lead guitar. Emily has worked this way since she was eleven, and now has 181 recordings available. Emily has never used auto tune or pitch correction.
