I was a background singer for this in '85. My name is Robroy Wellingtonsmith Jr. the 18th. I loved singing this with James and the band on tour and even for recording the album. Yes ma'am, no sir. I love you. Amen.

Nice vocal work with James. And you are Robroy W. The 18th. That's amazing; your lineage must go back a couple of centuries to Scotland. Beautiful country.I enjoyed visiting there in the 70s aye, when I was a wee lad. (24).

There are very few people that understand the unique genius of James Taylor. He is perhaps the most underrated lead vocalist and songwriter of any musical group in history. I don't know about you all. But to me, James Taylor always has been and always will be my Only One!

JT greatest hits was the very first album I ever owned. My entire family are JT fans. At 43, I have only seen him 7x in concert. Wish it was 70!!! It will be a sad day when he hangs up the guitar. Agree that he is extremely underrated as a musician by many. However, in the music industry he has the well deserved street cred he has earned. He and Garth Brooks did a song together. When Garth was interviewed about his experience, he said that it was the first time he worked with a musician that laid down music and lyrics in one take. Pretty cool.

    • @BetterqQoL

I don’t think the problem is that he’s underrated. I think it goes by as under appreciated because his talents are so many and so talented.

You are my only one, you are my only one. Well I'm telling you now, you're my only one. I've got two long legs like to carry me, Two sharp eyes to look for the light. Two strong arms to hold on tight, Two good friends on my left and right, But only one only one. You are my only one, you are my only one. Well I'm telling you now, you're my only one. There's only one road before me, Too many turns in the way, Thousands of things to do today. Millions of moments, I must admit, But only one, only one. You are my only one, you are my only one. Don't be leaving me now, you're my only one. Taken for granted and pushed aside, All that it wanted was a place to run and hide. Missing message in a hollow tree, Hidden deep inside a memory And the memory seems like dreams. Hundreds of hopes in the past, Nevertheless it was never the last. Hold on strong or you fade out fast And only one only one. You are my only one, you are my only one. Don't be leaving me now, you're my only one.

This was Shules’s wedding song that Juliet describes on Psych.
It’s not even the song they dance to, but the song Jules said she’d walk down the aisle to. Am I the only one that doesn’t really understand a bride walking down the aisle to this?
