It was pretty clear that when that bill got shot down, the purpose to make the current administration seem inept. I think that became the general playbook almost as soon as the dust settled after January 6th. By doing so, they stood a better chance at winning in the midterm elections, and eventually giving their party's leader another shot...assuming he was not in prison.

I have been living in Georgia for 15 years and I must say that I'm very glad that I voted for Senator Ossoff. We need new blood like him in both the House ans Senate.
I find it hilarious that this administration just leaves our borders wide open and instead of blaming Joe Biden and the left they want to go back to 2018 and blame Republicans for not signing a bill that was too weak on illegal immigration.
