I first rode on the FR in the summer of 1961 train was hauled by Merddin Emrys. Things have changed a bit since then! Last rode April 2022.
This must be one of the busiest 'closed seasons' at Blodge in living memory. Impressive in terms of quality, quantity and sheer scope.

We're the slate flags from a local quarry?
Whilst all the roof slates are local Welsh slate and mostly reclaimed - unfortunately the cost of using local slate for some of the new floors was prohibitive.
