Having booked a room for the night, did that grant you access to roam the chapel etc. without a guide? I read on their website that yoi can only visit the insides with a guided tour, which confuses me…

Thanks for the comment. Yes I was able to be there without a guide. But I went there during COVID time, so I'm not sure if it's still possible. Sorry for the late reply and hope you found an answer beforehand.

@@99archi Hey! I went there this summer haha. Such an amazing place. You were free to roam still, I assume it’s always like that. They were having the prayers in the church now though.

You're very brave for having explored and stayed in this frightening place. This place is even more grim and disturbing than other Le Corbusier nightmares. That tower with the spiral staircase, the prison-cell-style bedrooms, the decaying exterior and unkempt grounds, the confusing layout, the tiny windows and primary colors that mock humanity, the spooky dark church -- it's all something out of a horror movie. The only comfort came from seeing actual human beings in the video from time to time, but then, they are wearing masks like faceless ghouls. Was France really still hung up on wearing masks as late as 2022?

Thanks for the comment. You are totally right. I did not notice it before. I have blurred it not to be recognizable!
