Tennis Ball Mosaic for WaterAid and The Wimbledon Foundation

We created this tennis ball mosaic of ten year old Tefy from Madagascar just in front of the All England Lawn Tennis Club in Wimbledon.
The portrait used 10,000 balls donated by Slazenger and covered the same area as the tennis courts played on by the professionals during The Wimbledon Championships. British tennis star and WaterAid supporter Heather Watson narrated the film.
The artwork highlights the positive impact access to clean water can have on communities. Now Tefy and his friends have clean water they can concentrate on being a kid, going to school and unlock their potential rather than walking miles to fetch water.
