@@peat30 i said both words, that means the wide possibility of the tamiya plastic body and the capability of a nice crawler chassis. you've nailed it. i love it.
Is the brown/rust car on a CMX or CFX (front motor) chassis? At 2:55 there is a good view into the interior and the motor/transmission is not where I would think it would be on a CMX.
peat 30 Would it be possible to get some pictures and details of how you executed this? The "front motor conversion" offered by MST basically turns the CMX into a CFX. I like the idea of a front motor for interior space and weight forward, but the CFX looks like the motor would sit up too high for the Sand Scorcher body to clear unless it was held up off the chassis further than yours (which looks perfect!). Then again, maybe I'm mistaken. Many thanks!
Hi guys, that scenery looks amazing, as do the msx's with the beetle bodies on. A pair of 2.2 wheels on the rear, and a set of 1.5/1.9s on the front would look awesome. Waddaya think guys. Sweeeet video. 😀 👍 👍 👍
Your Sand Scorcher is super nice,i would like to have Sand Scorcher body on my cmx,but i dont know how to mount the body,Also the wheelbase size(my cmx is 242mm)do u have any suggestion, thx!!!!!
hi thomas, i saw your other amazing videos and know that you've tried scorcher bodies on both mst cmx and axial capra 18. i am eager to know which chassis is better in crawling ability, realistic movement and in fitting with the scorcher body. i haven't played RC cars for 40 years. i am too carried away by your productions and would want to make a rock climbing buggy for myself, at the age of 64..😂
Hi . The bugger chassis fits perfekt 👌 and has better performance cause the portal axels . Buy a utb18 and the bugger chassis from spare time hobbies . You can switched easily the parts on the bugger chassis .
are mst cmx vehicles better than tamiya? my girlfriend bought the tamiya fj 40 and even with locking the rear diff, it still dosent really climb very well.
Cmx is better because the chassis is design to crawl and climb. Tamiya is a hobby grade standard it is for those people who are only into the aesthetic and scale looks. Both rig are great in their own way. Just pick which one suit you best :-)
Awesome CMX Sandscorcher rock trail run video~

Excellent work, scorchers look great.

@@peat30 much thanks!
hi mate, what kind of shocks are you using on the Brown Sand scorcher?
Rc4wd King shocks
is it 90MM?
Roxass00 No . 80. 90 is to long.
yeah, thanks man.. it's looks good on 70 but 80mm will be great for better articulation..
Roxass00 Yes . But the other One runs on the stock ones

As you can see in this Video they are real good climbers ! I Think better than tamiya !
