I would recommend using the "Shape Image" (type) parameter inside the Rebar Shape families, instead of using the "Image" parameter inside the schedule. Using "Shape Image" parameter allows you to assign an image directly to a rebar shape (which will be used repetitively in a schedule) instead of assigning the image to the rebar itself. If you have lots of rebar in you schedule, it could be very time consuming to assign an image to each rebar. Thanks for the video.
Yes! After hours of searching. I found the video. Here is for those who are interested in the Shape Image technique. ruclips.net/video/Vu0yaccb1LM/видео.html
Hi there. I agree to that. From my previous company, I only show the shape image if there are special bars that need to be presented according to their respective Values for bar bending. Shape code 99 for example. cheers.
Hi there, nice video, however the shape image dimension letters A, B, C, D do not match with the dimensions you have in the table. For example, the straight bar length is annotated with the letter A in the shape image , and your value for A in the table is 0 but the value of B is 8100mm which is actually showing the length of the bar. any idea how we can change this so that the image agrees with the table?
Hey comrade, is there something wrong with the “D” size at the rim of the armature? "C" should be equal to "D"? In any case, thanks a lesson, your videos always help.
Hi Balkan, great video! I have a question that I was hoping you could answer as it is driving me crazy! I see on your schedule it is listing the 'schedule mark 2', twice, rather than having a total for schedule mark 2. A typical British standard rebar schedule would not list each and every bar mark like this, it would group them together as totals. Do you have any idea how to do this? Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
Hi BA, Thanks for your video. Is there a way for Revit to round the length of the reinforcement bar to nearest 5mm? E.g. if I have shape code 00 and its length is 7358 mm, but I want it rounded up to 7360 mm in the schedule. Thanks
Good knowledge in this video, but you have the same problem what I have. On 7.06 min you see the link on dimension D is showed 520mm but as I can see on pic. obviously there is not 520mm
Importance marker But I have a problem. When I save the file as a PDF, the rebar images appear with a very poor resolution and it cannot be printed with this resolution. Can anyone help us?

Hello, if we have several floors when rebar detailing, should we difference the rebar size for each column, beam, and slab on each floor?(i.e 19mm column A lvl 1, 19 mm Column B lvl 1, 19mm beam A lvl 1, etc) Especially when we want to make automatic bill of quantity from Revit.
Hi there. Much better if they will be detailed separately. ex., COLUMN DETAILS together with their Bar Bending Schedule. Then for the BEAM Detail also, SLAB DETAILS and so forth. cheers.
Sir, Thank you for those nice tutorial videos. I have learnt a lot from you. I really appreciate your effort, the way you are teaching us. Sir, can you please upload a video, how can we change the title block. In place of " Autodesk REVIT" , I want to place my name and so on. Thank you once again.
Hi! Thank your for video. If you only could see schedules, that our constractors make. They are terrably overcomplicated. But, on the other hand, yours is too simple, so you made a logical mistake. You added an image to sertain rebar, 10M. But you may use the same rebar for another shape in your project. So it will cose a mistake in a while. You should make another schedule for category "rebar shape", and add your image to exact shape. And in your schedule you should add only the parameter "shape"
Dear sir, How are you today. My self is Imran i belong to india. I am a 2d autocad structure designer. Nowdays i am getting revit structure trinining.
