Hey Ron, the opening is missing audio until you start filming. Intended?
Yep, thought I'd try it once. Some people complain about it. Personally, I think it has become part of the channel...the theme song, if you will. Don't worry, it will be back. This video was intended as my Christmas gift to my fans....a 3 for 1 video. I guess I could have used it as an April fool's joke without the Intro music....LOL. Again, don't worry, our theme song WILL be back. Thanks for watching and God bless.
@@RonPratt Cool it is an a song.
@@RonPratt Well I'm glad you experiment and try stuff. I'm with you though, i think of the intro as your theme, and I missed it. And not worried at all, I think of this channel as educational, but also as an expression of your values, beliefs, style, and personality.
It felt abnormally quiet. I was expecting it and it even played in my head. My issue with it has been the volume relative to the introduction speech.
@@RonPratt I love the opening music! Please add it bsck
Great example of team work across the emergency services and vehicle recovery specialist.
Thanks for sharing and stay safe all.
We work and train very closely with our local Emergency Service agencies and have built a very good working relationship. We each know the other's responsibilities and capabilities. This make for a much safer and more efficient work environment. Thanks for watching and God bless.
Hey Ron,
I was very impressed with attitude of everyone involved.👍 Hard work in extremely NASTY conditions, but every one stayed kool and "gotter done"! Kudos to all involved!!!👽

Whenever you look at it, the equipment and dexterity of the Mid-West truck are amazing.
God bless you
Having been in the car business, for 9 years(sales and service), I've had my share of using tow trucks. And having watched,"Highway to Hell", I have the highest respect for the towing business and the people who risk their lives each day, to get the job done. The same can be said for law enforcement, firefighters, and others. I thank all of you, for what you do. I also really liked this video. Thank you!
I’m new & excited to find your channel and videos. I appreciate your hard work. When watching this video and heard you ask for prayers for all effected on the call, but also never said one curse word, it meant a lot. I am a proud American.🇺🇸 Thank you and be safe. God Bless.🙏🏼💙
You, your team and the emergency services personnel were working hard and working smart in very difficult and potentially hazardous conditions. You got the jobs done quickly, safely and while keeping a refreshing sense of humour. Respect to you, and may you all have a peaceful and happy holiday season!
Fuel leak!!! Where's the Flex-Seal guy when you need him.
Haha!
Lol!
He’s fishing in his glass boat. Yahoo!!
The flex seal guy is missing a great commercial opertunity
Does flexseal work on ruptured fuel tanks? I use tartape all the time for pinholes in railcans.
Thank God that no one was hurt in any of the accidents. I hope that you didn't damage your phone when you drop it in the water. God bless all you and stay safe Mr Pratt..
THAT PHONE LOOKED DEAD TO ME
Ron, you has the coolest wrecker truck I ever seen, you need about 5 of the best in the world of the king wrecker trucks.. Your attitude is great, I love all your videos, Keep up the good work......
I really respect the skill, experience and amazingly quick planning you put into each recovery. keep up the great work and keep safe.
The rain hitting the the camera sound is trippy!
Ron, you and your crew are very professional, what an excellent job you do keeping everybody safe and protecting the property of those who need your service. I hope I never need your help but if I do I hope its you to the rescue. Thank you very much for sharing. My job as communication Engineer is just so boring.
Wow! All those arrows and lights really worked well in the first stop. Traffic moved over!
Thanks for sharing Ron, love your videos, state of Missouri should be thankful to have your service to rove the highways in Missouri to lend a hand in helping motorists in distress. Stay safe :)
Best thing about you sir that your always calm, even in severe conditions! Hats off!
I have always liked seeing big, tough, guys big rig toys. A son and grandson were a couple of big rig guys.
The truck driver refusing to roll down the window. He should have an invitation to stand in the rain. Mike should have jumped in.
Haha. Amen.👍
Driver didn't want to melt.
Yep, I would have done that. It's because of our insurance, you know.😁
He was also old.
If it rolls down.
Crazy!! I never realized all that’s involved during a clearing of an auto accident! ThNk you for enlightening me! I’ll be more patient and extra cautious to move out your way when I see you guys coming 😁 THANK YOU for what you do! May God bless you and those around you everyday! Stay safe bud!😎👍🏼🙏❤️
That's a big lightning rod you have on the back of the Tator. God bless
Another great video, Ron, thanks. Merry Christmas to you and your family and to all your employees. Also Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of the first responders you deal with on your jobs....also the same sentiments to all of your viewers :)
Turn your wheels a little, he turns wheels at max angle. Second time, turn your wheels just a little, turns his wheels at max angle again... damn they need a little bit of training about what is turning the wheels a little bit... haha
seriously...he needs to roll his damn window down to hear too
Probably why he wrecked!
Dag-gum wheel-holders anyhow
I'm a Spark from the UK, and my mates here have told me to watch your videos so much. I did, quite a few of them. I get why, so I subscribed.
Now, your truck is an amazing piece of kit, but the way you so skilfully move it around, it is a pleasure to watch. Even if i had that kit, i wouldn't have the first idea what to do with it.
Hey Ron, love your content. You're an extremely patient person that handles the pressure of your job very well. Merry Christmas.
Mr. Pratt, your incredible work ethic, knowledge and attention to minor details it OFF the CHARTS! Enjoy all of your videos! THANK YOU!

The tow truck is an incredible piece of equipment! Great job!
michael mixon it’s expensive too
Hey Ron....Super great vidz buddy....keep 'em comin' - they really help get me through the day....!!! You my friend are a true gentleman...Take care and please stay safe...!!! I did a little bit of towing in my younger years....It was one of my most favorite and enjoyable jobs...and since I had a CDL....They trained me on the Mack and the Pete so I could be called out at 3 O'clock in the morning to loose some sleep while my coworkers were snug as a bug in a rug.....I just knew they were working on some sort of plan....lmao.
I now am currently driving a KW For an Asphalt Construction Company...I've been there for about 6 years,,,its a great place to work and the people are really cool...Hey...thanks for letting me bore you for a bit...lol
take care,

Thank goodness I was watching from my nice dry home. That is a lot of rain. The flooding is something there. Georgia was in a drought for several months as well most of the summer but we didn't get the floods when it did finally rain. Great video. Always look forward to them. Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday.
So, who knew that a tow operation *video* would be so fun to watch? Great job, all. BTW, I was so involved that I found myself feeling nauseous -- why? I figured out it was all the helmet-movement, cameral swinging around... ("Burp.") Looked away a bit, and everything's fine.....!!
where is the guy who clears blocked storm drains on youtube when you need him?
I've seen that guy too! LOL
You mean Justin Swanstrom?
XD just thinking that!
post 10!
Post 10 our savior
As someone who lives next to mountains. I love the rain.
So to answer the question in the video "Yes that does look like fun"
the work not so much. the rain. yes.
Not an easy job in any weather, but in the end I am convinced that there is immense satisfaction.
Ron you're doing a great job
Moving a dog kennel? What a great way to PR with the municipalities
Definitely the oddest job on record too
I presume it was one of those B-I-G pre-fab chain link ones...not a dinky plastic one. Hahahaha!
@@dross24MA more funny if it was a plastic one lol
@@joshw1687 it would have amused the heck out of me if Ron had tied the plastic kennel to their largest roll back.
Ron,

I know you probably will not read this, though I am excited about what Mike signaled 1second before you did to the driver.
Good team work. Love this!
"He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth." (Job 37:3) No need to worry about the lightning. Trust for that.
I love your outtro music.
Im gald to see all working together with the fire department and cops that have your back on the road from again from Michelle madson from happy valley in Oregon and god bless to you and your family and friends and i will always love watching what you do and bless to you and your family and friends and i will always love and i do believe in god bless to you and your family and friends and i will always love and that one was hurt
38:44 And that everyone, is why you always drive slower when A) its raining. (duh) B you're driving a huge truck and trailer. And C) when your trailer is empty. (you can tell it was because of the axle hop and ABS brakes skidding. Have a merry Christmas Ron stay safe.
Great video as well. It was also nice to see the support vehicles on the incident. I know this was recorded before the blocker was commissioned, but that would have been a good opportunity for the blocker. Also it would have help the support truck get through traffic.
Watch for that car at the local Copart auction......."Low miles, runs and drives" !

Ron Pratt - your service is perfect! (Você trabalha muito bem) from Brazil.

Merry Christmas to Ron and the crew and all your families! Have a safe, healthy and Happy New Year also.
Love them hook you have on the cable. Finally got one for my tow truck.
We need the intro music back! I love hearing it
True
In the fuel leak pads packets, they should include a small, med, and a large piece of flex tape.
Enjoyed these tows Ron, Merry Christmas too you and your family, thank you for our gift and sorry we couldn’t get you anything, a little low on funds this year
8:30 "We got stuff coming from Jackson... ...but it's gonna be a little while"
26:16 There they are :D
Little late to the party lol
In the five years I ran a rollback, I was always amazed when I went to pick up a vehicle, about 75% of the time the owners had taken the keys with them and in a lot of cases, even locked the doors. I was like, "Your vehicle is totaled, so why do you need the keys and why do you need to lock it up? It's not like anyone is going to drive it away." I realize they may have had their personal house keys on there, but they could have left the key to the vehicle. Just had to laugh at it and make it work. AND YES, it is a lot of fun in the rain and snow and cold and heat. I have been out of it now for 15 years and still miss it. Stay safe out there and God Bless...
"Doesn't this look like fun?" - compared to my job, YES
Love your videos, Ron. You make it all look so easy.
To all who run to the situation instead of running away may God bless you and keep you safe. Love your channel. Well done.
Ron, your new Unit #16, Traffic Control support rig is a great idea. Now, you need to build another support rig with a coffee bar, sauna and dry clothes all around. ;)
)
That would have been nice to have on a few job...LOL. Thank you sir. Glad you're still here.
They'd never get anything done with the sauna lol
Interesting on the last accident that the officer said other tow companies would not come out. You are there rain or shine!
Oh.... by the way, after seeing the ratchet straps you you, I bought a couple for my wood working business. Love them? Steve
I’m retired Navy. When it rains like that we call it a fine Navy day. Great video. Thanks!
Thank you for your service Sir!!!
You must be a Veteran. There are certain things people say and you will know...when you said "Trackin" ....yup....you served. Thank you for your service sir.
I am not a veteran. I have family and friends who are veterans, but I am not. I have the utmost respect for our service personnel. I will not claim Stolen Valor...wouldn't even consider it. Thanks for watching and God bless.
@@RonPratt outstanding answer good job and keep safe out there sir. :)
Miss the intro music, but wish it wasn't quite so loud when it is there.
Hey Ron I know the feeling from jumping from truck to truck lol wait till you jump in and go to grab the shifter on the steering column and it’s not their!!! That’s a funny right their when that happens lol
You know, with all the video games and simulators for computers and consoles i am surprised nobody seems to have made a wrecker type simulator for this. With all the problem solving skills and physics involved, it looks like it would be a fun game. considering all the situations you guys go through. Like the least damage and snapped lines being a goal.
50:41 When did Midwest Truck change their name to Grand Central Telephone Station?
Lol
Fascinating how this us done. Great teamwork between emergency services.
Hahaha... Phew - who else spent the first 5 or so minutes frantically pausing/restarting/unplugging/swapping wondering what broke on their phone before allowing the video to progress past the intro screen?
Me too till I read the one comment and Ron's reply!
Yep...
Yuuuup
Keep you a bag of rice with you and when that happens cut the phone off immediately and take the battery out and then push the start button to release any residual power left in the phone then put the phone in the bag of rice which will draw out the water Im a computer tech which know this and most of the time it will work
Most phones are sealed so you cant remove the battery. Theres a channel called Jessa Jones that does phone data recovery that talks a lot about liquid damage and how rice is useless if the battery is still in it.
need to do Multiple wrecks at one time it like makes it longer and better
One callout per video is easier to fit into your day and more frequent. Not all incidents are suitable for RUclips.
I was cold just watching that truck recovery... Mike put his hood up, After he was drenched ;-)
Too little too late lol
Merry Christmas Ron, from a non-believing fan who loves the holiday and your work! Best wishes and prayers to your family ❤
Greetings from Western Australia Ron. Great video. Awesome amount of gadgets and gear you have there...Great to see everyone working together.

Warm weather recons.... I was expecting ice, snow and frozen roads... LOL Thanks Ron..!!
This is my first-time watching your videos. I am very impressed with your site. I will be watching again. May God bless you.
I used to come over the grapevine @ 3am , trucks as far as you could see, 50 years ago .
If this is the first rain you have had in several months, the road is slick with the rain mixing with the oil on the road. We don’t have that much of a problem, we normally have rain 9 to 10 months of the year.
I'll say one thing...you all work hard for your money and I sure hope it's plenty of it! Kudos on jobs well done!
Yup. Don’t miss working in the rain like that. It’s really fun when the wind is blowing s hard that the rain is coming at you sideways.
Another interesting film, keep safe, keep up the good work and God bless you and your buddies.
It's amazing how people drive cars don't drive passed there hood
Around here (deep South Jersey) a lot of them don''t drive past their windshield!
Idk how this got recommended but I enjoy watching. New to the channel and never seen a tow video before. I’ll definitely stick around to watch more. Thanks for sharing 🤙
Three jobs in one video was a great idea Ron; three *very* different jobs too, the dog kennel would have been a 4th different one.😀 The rain would help to dilute the fuel from the big rig, made me feel right at home.😀 Didn't hear anyone mention the smell, or did the rain kill that?
I'm sure the jobs won't stop for Christmas but I hope you and yours get peace to have your dinner at least. Have a good one Ron and a happy and prosperous New Year.🎅
Stay safe and try for warm and dry too.
Cheers for now,
Dougie.
Some productive, hard working men here. All of you, I didnt see one guy who wasn't on it. Especially the our main character, he jumped out ready to go. 👍
I was thinking “no Ron, those cones don’t go in that compartment, other side!” LOL
thanks for the 3fer ! In the extra hi speed clip for the last job, you can barely make out the water rising in the pond nearby. I hope the business you towed from was ok.
Hay good job 👍 Ron posing down in rain 🌧 you did a good job 👏👍👍👍🤙🤙🤙😎😎😎👌👌👌🌧🌧🌧🌧
I love the sound of a rainstorm even though I know it's not the safest in the world to be in!
It's your gallon-size Ziploc baggie fill 3/4 full of dry rice and a little salt . And keep it in the truck. Drop your phone in water again dried off a paper towels and put it in that bag with rice and salt l pull all the moisture back out of your phone
In Mexico, it is common just to stack the wrecks where they lay. These are considerably more disturbing than little white crosses. We think we're really good drivers and all this jazz happens to the other guy. It's later than you think.
Great video Ron.
I was wondering if you'd be so kind as to offer a little advice. I drive a roll off dumpster truck. One big problem I deal with is customers dragging dumpsters with heavy equipment out into a mud bog where the truck cant go. The winch on my truck is a cylinder winch, not a drum winch, so I can only reach out about 6 feet past the end of the bed. I can shackle chains onto the end of my cable to get farther, but the pulley at the head of my truck bed doesnt have any kind of roller fairlead on it. I know from painful experience that if I winch at too high an angle, the cable will jump the pulley and get torn to bits.
I'm thinking about buying a 20' eye to eye cable sling and a snatch block to go at the foot of the truck bed so I can pull off angle. Dumpsters are usually less than 10 tons, but every once in a while we get one as heavy as 20. Any suggestions on what gear to buy for occasional use that wont totally break the bank?
Hey Ron If I lived in Scott City I would be applying to drive rollback or wheel lift. Its days like that rainy day that will really define who is a tow driver and who is not ..
I just bought a pair of those ratchet straps you used on the hood after seeing you use one, I like the fact they are retractable and you don't have a tail flapping around
A pre-Christmas 3 for 1 Clearance Sale!! Thanks Ron!! Merry Christmas to you and your family and crew!!
That was cool. I never knew how you guys did that. Very interesting. You did a cool job
Your truck is really clean. I just Love it..
As long as the boneheads insist on driving like morons, you'll have a successful business and job. God bless you!
I've had drivers tailgate me in the rain pressuring me to go faster in rainy conditions. It's just crazy what matters most is to get to your destination in one piece.
About come out of the military! Seems like a good start for me to pick this up. It really take someone with a lot of patients to do this. Cuodos man
Ron Pratt does it again and again and again!
Bro, you've got a hell of a tow truck. I would love to drive something like that, wow.
Threee cheers for the Admknkstratkln Crew that sits in the dashboards of the Rpn's trucks. No matter what the weather, these guys are always there.
What does your dad think of the tator?
I wonder who's idea was it to consider getting a bigger truck!
