Felt so happy while watching this stunning film, which is full of spring atmosphere. It also captured a lot of things that are behind the camera, like someone shouting at the time of the go-around. Could never resist the two scenes where you zoom in when the MAX climbs up; they are so enchanting!!!

Isn't the Boeing 737-8 MAX the one that has had all the crashes? Why would the RAAF/Aust. Gov't buy such a problem-ridden aircraft. An Airbus ACJ320neo or ACJ TwoTwenty would seem like a more sensible buy

I do agree a ACJ320 family would be more ideal aircraft but would mead pilots have to be trained up and they only operate KC-30A fleet so logistics wouldn't work

It’s had *two* major crashes, both of which were largely caused by pilot error/incorrect training, neither of which are issues usually faced by pilots in the RAAF, let alone those that are selected to fly these aircraft for the country’s leaders and dignitaries. They are the top of the top. And as other commenters have said, given the current fleet includes 737NG-BBJ aircraft it makes complete sense to go for these as replacements.
