After some horrendous accidents the B737-8MAX will probably go on to have an excellent record much the same as what happened with the De Havilland Comet jet in the 1950's.
In the United States this is going to be treated as a c-40 variant used to transport Speaker of the House some cases the vice president and the president of the United States. Therefore a C-40E because C-40D Max 7 if USAF wanted one.

They're leased and because the current PM is hated 🤣 all jokes aside they currently have 737BBJ1s and an E-7A fleet cheaper Quicker and easier to lease a max. I do agree a ACJ320 family would be more ideal aircraft but would mead pilots have to be trained up and they only operate KC-30A fleet so logistics wouldn't work
It’s had *two* major crashes, both of which were largely caused by pilot error/incorrect training, neither of which are issues usually faced by pilots in the RAAF, let alone those that are selected to fly these aircraft for the country’s leaders and dignitaries. They are the top of the top. And as other commenters have said, given the current fleet includes 737NG-BBJ aircraft it makes complete sense to go for these as replacements.

No it shouldn’t. The flag is displayed correctly as per the protocol. If the flag was on a flag pole, and the aircraft was moving in its normal flying direction, then the flag would naturally be facing backwards because the wind would blow it in that direction. You’ll see it displayed exactly the same on all Qantas aircraft.

Here in Switzerland (Basel), many aircraft are serviced and maintained, completed and fully equipped .
This is where they do aircraft modifications. They have to check to make sure the stuff they added/changed doesn't mess anything up.

With proper maintenance (which I’m sure this will get) it will be fine.
