Good to see that you checked the lyrics before hearing. Good that you know that the lyrics is as important as the music and they should accompany each other.
One of many wonderful tracks by the late Romuald Lipko, my favourite Polish composer. In addition to songs for Budka Suflera, where he played on keyboards, he also wrote music for other performers. This song is a diamond, and Zdzisława Sośnicka made a brilliant out of it.
I mean, I can perfectly understand the apparent weirdness of the song if you can't listen to it's lyrics. Basically, the song is about the Ying and Yang of the world, i.e. that there are a lot of incongrous, clashing or even antagonistic things in it, that there's place for everything and that it's okay, because we're not much more than dust being blown in the "stars' valley". There's also a romantic line suggesting that love ("give me your hand") is the only remedy that helps to face the incomprehensible reality.
I suggest: 1. Edyta Geppert - Kocham Cię Życie 2. Edyta Geppert - Nie Żałuję 3. Akurat - Do Prostego Człowieka 4. Maanam - Lipstick on the Glass 5. Maanam - Boskie Buenos 6. Magda Umer - Oczy tej małej 7. Daria Zawiałow - Jeszcze w zielone gramy
What happens when Swedish musicians and a huge Polish excited crowd meet? you can find the answer here - here are my three suggestions from one concert: Sabaton - Uprising (Woodstock 2012) Sabaton - 40:1 (Woodstock 2012) Sabaton - Ghost Division (Woodstock 2012) good luck ;)
Try these Polish songs (only female singers): Ewa Demarczyk - Grande Valse Brillante Sopot 1964 Breakout - Na drugim brzegu tęczy, Gdybyś kochał hej, Poszłabym za tobą (1969) Kalina Jędrusik - Na całych jeziorach ty Łucja Pus i Skaldowie - W żółtych płomieniach liści Maanam - French is strange, Night patrol, City spleen, Lipstick on the glass Hey - Moja i twoja nadzieja Hania Rani - Home
I think this song was used for a promotional video of one of the "Legendy Polskie" short movies, each one telling the story of a famous Polish legend but with a modern twist to it. They are available on YT with English subtitles. You should really watch them, but they should be watched in a specific order, because there are many references and they form one "universum".
Two new offers from Diana Ankudinova in July. 1) Diana’s performance at the NIKA film awards, where Diana sang a song from the Quiet Outpost soundtrack. This performance is a requiem for the deceased famous people of cinema over the past couple of years. The video is on Diana's LIFE channel. 2) new release - a light summer song in English - Good Girl, lyric video, but almost like an MV.
This recording is from a concert by Ms. Zdzisława in 1989. You have to listen to her other songs, also from the late 80s. First this, calmer than Aleja, but better than Aleja for me ruclips.net/video/9vbIJMS2lPk/видео.html Then this. Here, despite the seemingly lesser "power", you can hear more of Ms. Zdzisława's voice. ruclips.net/video/jOmgb8lJPwA/видео.html And finally this. Here she throws down the gauntlet to Madonna with her "Dont cry Mi Argentina". ruclips.net/video/hq04mkfsYIo/видео.html
good and bad goes in pairs, thats the spirit of this song, so the opposites make contrast - like that ballad lyrics in contrast to the electronic music, they are made be a contrast
I have proposition for You guys. Try to hear in your channel polish Rock band named Fatum. And and title song from only one LP. of this band. Named Mania Szybkości. This band Was called polish Europe. Check it out, and write to me what You think about this song.
Proponuję posłuchać wersji studyjnej... w niej to dopiero jest potęga i moc... 🙂 Moja propozycja kolejnej piosenki to "Adriatyk, ocean gorący" zespołu LOMBARD
There's newer version of the cover. It was used in video clip Allegro: Legendy polskie (Allegro: Polish Legends) I believe its tile is Twardowsky 2.0 Also worth seeing BTW. Generally, Polish Legends is unique series portraying most popular myth of Poland's sphere. Try Twardowski, Twardowski 2.0, Smok, Baba Jaga and Bazyliszek. You won't regret it. Greetings from Poland
Taki electro-rock z syntezatorami. Dawało to ciekawy efekt. Polecę Wam jeszcze jeden zespół z elektronicznym brzmieniem: ruclips.net/video/XqmUVs7wAIA/видео.html

On the pharmacy display the black cat quietly returns, until the cock crows, it must melt into aroma, The river burbles under the bridges, the gray lantern shadow has gone, People enter the cafe, there's usual noise on the street, And the wind dances in the streets, the wind whirls like a drunk, and upon the branches hangs out a shawl spun of spider web, Who has such strange eyes? Euridice, Euridice. Who has such strange lips? Euridice, Euridice! Hello!
Good to see that you checked the lyrics before hearing. Good that you know that the lyrics is as important as the music and they should accompany each other.
Pozdrawiam z pięknej Polski 🌻🙂
She's one of the biggest stars of 70s and 80s in Poland. Not only a singer but also a composer and conductor.
80s This is the golden era of Polish music. Many phenomenal artists, music that does not old and will raise many generations yet. Thank you

I recommend to you a song from 1964 called "Dancing Eurydice" sung by Anna German. I wanted to hear what you said about her voice.
ruclips.net/video/gymRAZx9Z1o/видео.html
At the corner cafe each night there's a concert,
Stop at the theshold, dancing Euridices,
Before dawn casts the shaft of the first ray on the walls,
let yourselves be embraced by drunk Orpheuses,
Stars flow like centuries, the night hangs out the curtains of fog,
Upon the dancing Euridices casts a lace shawl,
The river sings under the bridges,
dances the crooked shadow of a lantern,
against the open doors of the cafe
rubs his back a black cat,
Who has such strange eyes?
Euridice, Euridice.
Who has such strange lips?
Euridice, Euridice!
Soon upon the horizon the pink dawn will slowly crawl,
The fog will blow away like yarn, lights will dim, the magic will burst,
The wind sprang in the alleys
strumming the trees like strings,
Is it Orpheus singing, or is it the trees humming?
On the pharmacy display the black cat quietly returns,
until the cock crows, it must melt into aroma,
The river burbles under the bridges, the gray lantern shadow has gone,
People enter the cafe, there's usual noise on the street,
And the wind dances in the streets, the wind whirls like a drunk,
and upon the branches hangs out a shawl spun of spider web,
Who has such strange eyes?
Euridice, Euridice.

The fog has blown away like yarn
Only the black cat remains,
