I got my 9.9 last night too after far too many attempts. Lucario was my wall for a while. All I can say is "thank god Stage 6 is a breather". Allowed me to backdoor into the 9.9.
Lucario f’d me up my first play through and I was accidentally sding by using down special off stage and dying but on my second try I completely destroyed every cpu that tried me
@@alexwilliams3078 Lucario was the one that I struggled the most for finishing at 9.9 yet I started at 4.3 but during Lucario’s fight I had 6.2 HP left but good thing that the score was increasing.

The final boss feels the same way as Bowser's Classic mode against normal then on metal which is even harder! o.O

@@TheDacarl9801 I eventually learned that Demon Scissors is your friend against Lucario. And cheap throws off screen nuke Little Mac.

Almost seemed like the DK/KKRool fight was the most challenging.
Yeah it was for me but what cost my 9.9 was metal kazuya that bitch would not die
I made a bad call by getting stuck in between them, but it's definitely one of the harder fights for sure.

Ok so how many attempts did it take for you to get 9.9 and no deaths? For me it took 4 tries. Kept getting 9.8 for some reason.
