I am heart broken. Heart broken that I am watching these very distant memories in remembrance for someone who inspired me and looked up to. Chase was 1 year older than me and had a very short career. 4 years to be exact. I cried the day they announced his death, we all lost someone truly special. Someone who paved the path for young independent arists in the soundcloud emo trap era. I watched him grow from 1,000 subscribers to 11,000. It only deepens my pain to know that he ended his life, he was one of my favorite artists and was truly a gifted young man on the rise. Everyday I make my music I hope to put as much passion in it as him. I’m glad to have seen him smile.
Wish you weren’t gone. You were a unique dude. Your music really helps me through all my dark shit.
