Oh how I love classical art and wish it would make a comeback
This was by far my favorite painting in Musee D'Orsay ! The blending of what a country was and what is today plays so closely with every major country......this painting touched me. Was so glad I was able to see it....
short, succinct and brilliant.
Magnifique. Vercingétorix!
Love this. I've learned so much from you both for many years, thank you. Also, today it just dawned on me.. You sound exactly like Andy Cohen lol voice twins :)
Oof. This one hits close to home. What a powerful and sadly relevant message - even today. I'm taking an honest look at myself and know that I'm torn between aspiring to be like the statue heroes, but am more like the languid revelers overall. And forget about the people that surround me! I'm at least trying. It's so easy to stop trying today, though...
Nothing like an art-induced existential crisis. :)
Edit: Couture was hella fine, though. lol 😍
Thank you for these. Great work!
Voilà. ⚔️.
Wow
X, Y, Z.
Same debauchery as today./
