It’s like a psychological thriller with romance and it was sooo good. If you like mystery’s I would definitely recommend it and also the silent patient by Alex Michealides!!! So good:)

I guess I would reccommend you Murakami's pieces. He writes about important topics in a way that's, probably more pessimistic, but definitely more realistic. Bukowski was also a writer who wrote without filters which some (a lot) might not appreciate, but if you´re more into reading a crazy old man talking shit about everything and cussing at everyone, he's your guy

It’s such an amazing story along with a sweet romance and the writing style is definitely not the millennial wattpad type. And I definitely agree about Colleen Hoover books. They’re entertaining and fun, but nothing heavy hitting or life changing like most reviews I’ve seen online

Try Verity by Colleen Hoover. It’s a little different from Ugly Love and It Ends With Us bc it’s a bit darker. You might also like The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid, I just finished that one and I thought it was really well written :)

ANOTHER ONE: When Breath Becomes Air. it’s part autobio, part bio about a neurosurgeon resident that gets cancer. It goes through his transition from doctor to patient, and how different the treatment is. It’s terribly sad, but such a beautiful story. If you want to cry, read it.
oh yes that's a classic! It's super popular in europe for a reason. It's disturbing on so many levels but ugh it's so well written and there is so. much. information about all of the scents and physics of making it. Truly amazing
Read White Oleander by Janet Finch then watch the movie. Both are so excellently delivered and it touches on childhood displacement in the foster system, individual growth and overall development of identity.
I know I'm late and probably everyone has already read it but OMG Normal people by sally Rooney! I've found it outstanding! So captivating and heart rending! 100% reccomended
Also if I can suggest you my fave books are The catcher in the rye by Salinger, Marina by Carlos Ruiz Zafon and actually The longest ride by nicholas sparks is pretty good too!! 🥰
