    Death in the Family:
My father-in-law talked about cooking something one night and I said he should watch you channel Kent. He loved it so much he immediately ordered your new cookbook. Not long after his health took a turn for the worst. I asked him to move in with us so we could care for him and my wife would not have to run all over trying to care for him. Sadly he passed last Friday sooner than we expected. During the time he was with us though we watched many of your videos together. He never even had the chance to make a meal from your cookbook. He wanted to though.
My hat is off to you Sir for giving us many good memories and good quality entertainment. Something we are lacking these days. Thank you Kent and Mrs. Shan. My wifes name is Shannan by the way.
Take care Sir and God bless.
    Shane from Elberta, AL.

What you just did there, to mix chinese cooking (and wrongly call it japanese) with the good 'ol boy cowboy cooking style, olive oil in asian food and pair it with red wine !?? sure, why the hell not. Only The cowboy can come up with those combinations ! 🙂That wok looks more like a Spanish Paella pan to me than a wok but... you know, as long as it works ! Hee haw! We love you Kent, never change. Teaspoon of baking soda, tablespoon of deep fryer oil to the beef marinade. Use some leftover deep fryer oil for the stir fry. It has seasonings and flavors from previously cooked items and a lower flash point allowing it to vaporize and give the signature smokey stir fry flavor.

Looks great! My oldest cooking tool is a steel wok, had it for about 38 years now. Thanks Kent, Shan and Andy.

Thank you Cowboy! My wife LOVES stir fry beef, but every time I try to make it, it turns out chewy, soggy, and in my opinion, NASTY. She eats it anyhow (claiming how GOOD it is) but I know that's only to make me feel better, lol, and YOU sir have never disappointed with your recipes. Definitely giving this a shot.
