Hi Sir! I hope you are doing well. I wanted to start early revision for a level maths as I believe it would greatly benefit and prepare me. Please can you tell me how to study for a level maths and to remain consistent and achieve an A* and also do you have videos or a playlist I can use for pre-preparation? I am very determined Sir and would greatly appreciate all the help that I can get.
    Thank you so much!

Hi. It’s always a good idea to rest, relax and recharge from the heavy gcse exam period but there is no harm doing a bit of maths to ease the transition of gcse to as level. There is plenty of transition material available with particular focus on the algebra topics and surds and indices and methods. If you can I would ask the sixth form/college you’re going to to tell you the first term of work you’ll be doing and doing that so you start well in September. I always recommend working alongside the order in which it’s going to be taught in class and only being a month ahead max. I’ve made a series of videos coving all of as maths and there’s links to worksheets and notes in the description.

Another tip is try and get access to the textbook you’ll be using if not invest in one and work through that. If there is a topic you don’t know or unsure about there are plenty of video tutorials to help.
      Hope this helps
      :)

@@162maths Thank you so so much Sir, You are the best, I can’t express how much help you have been to me during my GCSE period. You are an inspiration as you share your knowledge and teach passionately, not expecting anything else in return. Couldn’t wish for a better teacher. What you do encourages me to work harder Sir. Thank you!
