this game does more for me than peglin really, and as cool as I think that game still is, it's just a broken build simulator at the end of the day. This game actually seems to embrace the peggle gameplay in a way that's a little more than just watching the ball hit pegs, and I really like that.
Could you please do a mini series on this? At least one round with every hero? They all are so vastly different and the runs are therefore so varied. That would be really nice ♥
All of these characters are ADORABLE. Look at them, how smol and round they are. I'm especially fond of the bookkeeper :3 Although I'm happy we only made the orc minstrel cry, not die.
this is what i was think of when i hear the word "peggle rougelike", while peglin is still pretty good it often feel less peggle-ly, I guess an fitting analogy would be that it's pretty much an approach like undertale's battle system where it feels like a genres with the elements of another genre, but roundguard genuinely feels like a rougelike in the style of peggle.
I always loved this game. A lot of strategy as far as where to shoot, which character to use, and what ability to use. Also having the next stage select being a game itself is awesome
Glad to see you came back to this after peglin! Would love to see a look at the new Malice & Greed updates as well, the game has changed a HUUUGE amount since you played it!
As someone who too as gotten swept up into the Peggle wave lately AND someone who's really into roguelikes/roguelites I do like the concept of this game.... Might be worth a peek!
Right now, this _for sure_ way more content. Maybe that will change later, but this is vastly more replayable, balanced, and fun in the current form. There is time for Peglin to improve though.

Good stuff, I remember seeing this game from you or Olexa lots of time ago. 🔝❤️
a mini series for the win s2 love the game systems. congratulations for the devs o//
That looks really fun, hope we get more
This game is so cute!
Wait theres more than peglin?!
yeah this was released 2 years before peglin haha
What happens at the end of a run? Do you unlock new items based on gold gains?
so which rouge like peggle game would you considered the best?
Roundguard, but it has years of dev time over Peglin so it isn't a fair fight

Well peggle is a harsh mistress.
I just figured I'm only realistically going to buy one peggle game so I wanted your 2 cents
Thanks
For me Peglin is like a 4/10, this game is a solid 100/10!
