Hey there, the bike owner here! What exactly do you mean with inlay? Either way, we cut both hoses. First of all to get the correct length and secondly because it would not have fit through the bar/stem/frame with the inserted olive and pin. But SRAM always includes an extra set of both parts. Ha, good question! The included one did not fit and after a lot of phone calls back and forth with Standert, I decided to 3D-Print my own spacers and I think (!) I used the 2 mm one between the crank and bottom bracket.
