Yes it is incredibly beautiful there. Most of that country has been rebuilt in the last 50 years. That salt mine was amazing. The sculptures there..all carved from the salt fascinated me.
It's gud to broaden your horizons and travel. Its nice to have a reliable diner in your hometown, but sometimes you need to step out of your comfort on some and try new things
I 100% agree. We have a great 50s style diner here in our small town, but it pails in comparison to having potato pancakes and pierogies in a polish restaurant in the Town Square of Kraków Poland. That’s living!
In the video I feature a restaurant called Staropolska. It is one of the restaurants in the main market square. They had really good food. We ate outside but I did look inside the restaurant and it looked very cool. Large open wood fire for cooking. I would definitely recommend that place.
Love seeing you and Patti continue to be on the run in Poland! I must say, all of the food in this video sure looked GUD. Glad all is well with you in the FB group. I was worried for a second that you had been sent to the boys club permanently for whatever reason
Poland was a real treat… we saw, ate and drank our way around Poland. It was awesome. Yeah… I wasn’t sure what exactly I did, and I was blocked from ALL methods of contacting him directly. I had to find someone else that could talk to him directly. I guess there are some posts that are best not to be responded to if your interpretation is different than his. The trick is knowing what those are. Oh well, I guess I’ll just contribute less to be safe.
When my brother comes home from Poland, he often brings me Wawel toffees and chocolates, its just the brand name but I wonder if theres any relation to the city? If you see any whilst shopping, pick some up - theyre quite tasty. Either way, what amazing buildings ❤
Well… we are currently back in the states. I don’t recall seeing Wawel candies. I wasn’t looking for chocolates, that’s usually something Patti does on a regular basis. But strange, now that you bring it up, I don’t recall any chocolate shops. Usually when we run across one, Patti disappears for a half hour and comes out with a bag of goodness. The entire Wawel area was interesting and beautiful. The fire breathing dragon was a bit lame, but it’s a legend that Polish kids grow up with.
That salt mine was most impressive. We went down hundreds of feet and when the elevator doors opened, it was like we were in a different world. If I got information from the tour guide correctly, many of the sculptures were actually made by the minors during their off hours. That of course could be just propaganda.
Thanks, I didn’t really know how to put that stuff in or even if I should. It sure didn’t sound good to end the video with. “We had a really good day” after just walking through probably one of the most dark and evil places ever to exist.
@@RobMilanowski Having been there, I appreciate seeing it acknowledged quietly. I remember during my visit seeing a lot people being rather inappropriate with their selfies and making it to be just another tourist attraction.
It was a temporary ban. I guess I responded to a couple recent posts in a way that Jack did not approve of. He asked me to keep it positive and not criticize in public. He then reconsidered and let me back in. There was no agreement between Jack and I to delete videos that he was featured in. I had heard that through the rumor mill. Actually, earlier today I decided to unlisted several videos related to Jack and his products. I’ve decided to promote my activities rather than his. And as far as that is concerned, I’d really appreciate it if folks didn’t continually bring my name up to him. It seems to upset him, and I really don’t want the ban to become permanent. I have too much fun interacting with all of you.. Thanks for understanding.
The architecture over there is so astounding! That salt mine would be incredible to visit. Another great video, hope you guys are having a great time!

another great video, Rob! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us all!
It is our pleasure. We enjoy documenting our travels, not only to share with others, but to keep for future memories.

We are heading to Krakow for the first time this year. Are there any restaurants or foods we need to try.

Wow, not what I expected from a salt mine!
Commented before I saw the end. I like how you handled the serious parts. Was very appropriate.

Rob, did Jack ban you from his group? If so, welcome to the boys club!

Wow. His skin is more thin than Tamtam's pants.
