To those that wish to know that specific move ... it is called the ruru pronounced as rooroo! meaning a moth (Moth especially the hummingbird moth) it symbolises the fast beating wings of the Hummingbird moth common in the south pacific it appears in the evenings mainly when night flowering pants ooze its scent fresh and vibrant. When women see the moth they follow it to collect the flowers moths land on... these flowers are then picked by young women to scent their body oils. The Ruru is specific to when both legs are on the floor hands extended and hips move high speed symbolising the feeding of the Hummingbird moth... because when it feeds it suspends in mid air wings go into high occilation but short wavelength and all you hear is the rooooo!! sound. It is where it got its name.

But unfortunately the west has tried to destroy it with all of this inclusion of stuff thats not oriental at all. Thankfully we bought it back here when we did "dance for freedom" ... for survivors of human trafficking. My friend won first place ❤❤
