Darrell, thank you so much for rounding out this tournament with a whopping fun 3rd leg. Marco... Polo... Thank you for dreaming up this competition. You should do this every year with EVOs so we can get that EVO fetish out of our systems. I ended up where I expected, so I'm not disappointed one bit. It was nice to give Puff a run for third. Cheers, ya'll!
Pausing right after the second lap so I can find you and say, _my dude, save some chicks for the rest of us!_ 8 seconds 14??? [Wayne & Garth do the "We're Not Worthy"]
@ when you don’t have the fanfare, gimmicks, recognition and popularity and all you have is the 1/64 that you poured your heart into, you have to not only win but win convincingly. Thats my motivation. Thanks for the kind words.
Well the ULTIMATE EVO has been found!!! One that can dominate the dragstrip the rally course and the open road ... we'll done Champagne Papi !!!Congrats to all the drivers cause just making the top four is quite an achievement Flip , Puff and Speedball well done . Let's see what we can do next year ....Is quite a personal satisfaction seeing this event complete!!! Thanks to Mark at GRAVITY THROTTLE RACING'S thanks Darrell for wrapping things up and thanks to all the participants cause without you guys there will be no tournament, thanks , see you around guys !!! And yes oh yes last but in no way less... thanks to all the viewers , subscribers and fans cause you are belive it or not a huge motivation on this tournaments thanks to you all no matter where you are from ... again, thanks !!!
@@blackcatpr1970 appreciate the opportunity to race Evos. So often the excuse is used that someone raced an Evo and that was why they won well now we are all on the same playing field. Glad to take the top spot
Darrell, TYSVM for the shout-out to *Diecast Street League* in your commentary!!!! Man, if you're not watching Bud & Roy at Rock City, you're sleepin' harder than Rip Van Winkle on Ambien! That channel has racing with more passes than a rich kid at the roller coaster park! People lined up to get in the show packed closer than Roy's Cousin Paul's teeth! I said Got-Dayumm this is how you close out a multi-channel event!! Eight laps of all the fury and speed one track can handle and then some! Glad that the stationary cameras were (mostly) working here because that means extended replays and MOAR ANNOUNCING from a fella who claims he doesn't like to talk much IRL. Glad you're saving that energy just for us lucky viewers, Darrell! AGAIN, busting out the Final Boss in a Try Not To Laugh challenge with the whole vignette surrounding Flip's wreck in the vineyards!!! To hear the man himself, R-Lo, in the very last of the show hyping the current tournament at Bay City--cherry, meet top!
I was away cruising when the 3 races went down. Great show, thanks! Well done to all the finalists! Congrats again to BLR, outshining everyone in the final. Cheers Marc D
No, I don't think I have what it takes to make the Top 3, R-Lo, I will be racing the third car I've ever built; But, I'm very happy to be here! Good luck on the track, legend.
Great work by all involved i can only imagine how much work and fun this was for all 3. Congratulations champ. He knows how to build them fast!!! Didn't want to say a spoiler lol
Congrats to the winner and all those participating! Nice cameo at the end. Looking forward to the Top Three Turvy. Erm, that’s what it’s called, right?
Why do you "still" not have a dedicated stationary camera at the finish line? Arguably the single most important feature of any race, and apparently missing the end of the race is a repeating occurrence. You have a dedicated camera for the start of the races and that should be a simple job for the motion camera, so I'm just confused why the start is more important here than the finish?
There’s a really good reason for the start cam. That areas can’t really be reached well with the way the track is set up. Not to mention it’s inches from the ceiling. A stationary start cam looks WAY better than trying to hold a chase cam steady for a few seconds before the race starts. Also, the best and fastest way for him to get a finish line cam, would be to buy him one and mail it to him. Any GoPro 8-13 would be sufficient. Let me know if you need links and Darrell’s address to send him one so the finish isn’t missed.
RLO cameo!?!?! Great track! Epic commentary! Excellent racing 😍

Champagne Pappi was on the razor's edge, a dominating performance, but the others were no pushovers, a high level of competition, and a great finale.

The closing speed of Blueline that Punted Flip off the track in race 4 was incredible.
