I just find it so ironic how the first country Jack gets wrong...is also the only country he can't spell
. A way to remember Bahrain is to pretend that "Dah rain" is what caused Bahrain to separate from Arabia.

Another way to remember it:
Bahrain in Arabic means 'two beaches'. Qatar has one beach because it's connected to Arabia but Bahrain is an island so it has '2 beaches'.

I memorized its name with bahar-rain(outside-rain) and while memorizing it's position I memorized Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait in order of south to north
i remember that bahrain sounds like bahr which is arabic for lake or sea i think, so its an island and i also remember that qatar is bigger so yea
for flags qatar is bigger so it is darker red

As a huge WW2 Nerd who mainly looks at maps in the 1930s and 40s, naming a few of these countries served a challenge. Always nice to refresh your memory of the modern day map.

If you ask Koreans, Korea isn’t two countries. Rather, it’s one country with two governments. With both governments claiming to be the sole government. Because of this, if you have a passport for either the ROK or the DPRK, you cannot visit one or the other
thats part of why i know them as ROK (south) and DPRK (north)

Its so easy regardless of how you look at it, I just fail to comprehend how he is not able to memorize them after seeing all of them countless times. I myself memorized them after seeing them 2-3 at most.

I knew every single country, flag, outline and which continent they are in long before Jack made his geography channel, the amount of pain I suffered through watching his older videos back when he knew absolutely nothing about geography is too much to be explained

The way I remember the locations of all the -stan countries is:
Kazahkstan is the big one
Kyrgyzstan borders it's fellow K country south east
Tajikistan is below Kyrgyzstan
Turkmenistan is horizontal to turkey
Uzbekistan has a square border in it's North West corner
Pakistan is next to India (the difference between Islam and Hindu)
Afghanistan is the roundest fat one
