I cant believe christian rappers are acting like mainstream rappers with these disses when we are called to be something greater not attacking look we are caught up on politics and how we should love someone when christ flipped tables when needed and showed love at the same time but also forgiving sinners and people are missing that they are showing either too much love or too much wrath against sin

Sheesh! Is you really wit it?! It seems like Jon is just calling all of us higher. Examine yourself and humble yourself like Christ did.
It’s all fun and games until it gets serious. And this week has been serious. I know this’ll b a hot take, but as a long time fan of both Jon and Bryson, I think that if both dropped their defensive postures, stopped throwing accusations, and had a conversation (a legit one this time) something could change. Both of them are using their platforms in a way that brings audience, but compromises the impact of the gospel because of their disagreements. And nothings wrong with disagreeing, but at a point the argument has gone too far. Jon using his on the radar freestyle to diss Bryson, and Bryson calling him a fake Christian is showing the world division rather than Jesus. We are to be unified in the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12, Ephesians 4:12-13). The Bible tells us that a kingdom divided against itself will be ruined (Luke 11:17). Risking The Kingdom for some clout or views or even just to be right is crazy. With the length of time this has taken, I’m afraid this’ll end like Kendrick and Drake/Cole. And with everyone choosing sides, who’ll mediate between them? I love both artists, and their music to, but this can’t keep going. This may be one of the biggest opportunities CHH can get to show the world how we do it differently. Let’s not ostracize one of the brothers in Christ, but rather unify under our common faith. They’ll know us by our love for each other (John 13:35).

We are to call these evildoers out with no thought to their feelings. Why do you think they wanted to kill Jesus? John the Babtist? Paul? People trying to turn Jesus into a hippy are the precurser to the anti-christ.
@@gbocmusic by your interpretation it means that there would have been no chance for the man to receive healing and repent in John 5:14.
We’re admonished as believers to denounce evil deeds and people that perpetrate them as believers and there is a reason why Jesus himself confronted the Pharisees harshly but seemed more merciful and gentle towards other sinners for them to be saved. Because in this battle of good and evil and we must be non apologetic in our stance there are some who are caught up in the wrong side and it is our duty to approach in love and care because they can potentially be lost forever. (Which is the point Jon is making)
Your duty as a Christian to win souls first for GOD is more important than your moral or spiritual high ground to “call out these evildoers” by rebuking them wholly. And in winning souls you must apply wisdom especially how Jesus (the One we claim to serve) did not immediately rebuke his disciples and other people to their faces when they first met but approached them with love and see how they turned out as stewards of the kingdom.
