Awww age has nothing to do with diying. I'm 63 and have been crafting since I was a child with my great grandma, Grandma and my great Aunt. They were in their 90s and crafted up a storm until they passed. If you want to try hit up a good will and look at clothing patterns that you love and use them as fabric. @@marystaples5869 My Dad use to say age is a state of mind. I was in a severe car accident a few years ago and am in a lot of pain. We live with my son’s family and it kinda takes away the fun of crafting when you can’t put it up in your own home. But who knows what the future holds. I try to leave it in God’s hands. Those butterflies are so incredibly cute. As soon as I find some old clothespins I will make a pile of them. I’m going to use them in Easter baskets and my trays.
They are definitely easy to make and would look really cute in baskets and on trays for sure! I love how versatile they are! 😊

@@LindasDIYbyDesign I have made some projects and just posted a video using the techniques I've learned from you. I must say, the sewing on paper makes everything much more beautiful and gives it so much character. I call it, scrapbooking off the page. 💞
Nice I like it. When I get to it. I will do the pattern in wax parchment or tissue paper as pattern’s are printed on the pattern will bend better for me and yes I know it can tear. I also want to try wire at the top of the butterfly for antennas and hopefully the wood would slide over it. Toooooo cute as usual.

No Melba, I don’t. I have projects displayed in my craft room with paper designs and they have held up over 10 years with no issues. Well, I can’t say that…this funny little micro dirt stuff often gathers up. 😂 seriously though, you could do mod pudge over the top if you prefer. I know a lot of people like to do that. Hugsies! 😊
