It's a tragic story told to perfection. There is no villain and redemption like Vader. Hayden absolutely killed it with his performance, what an actor. I was 10 when Phantom Menace came out but I had already watched the original trilogy so much that the Return of the Jedi VHS was in almost unwatchable state.
Darth Vader is the king of my nightmares. I had horrible dreams about him when I was little. Seeing his backstory makes you realize he wasn’t truly the bad guy. He was manipulated and abused and became angry with himself and what he had done. Also seeing a handsome kind actor getting dressed to play this part reminds you it’s all make believe.
Man watching them practice that saber battle is just so awesome. The first 3 episodes were the star wars of my age, and I couldnt be anymore happy with them. With all the hate they recieved I think they hold up quite well when watching all the movies back. From the duel of fates scene to that last epic fast paced saber battle these 3 movies are amazing.
As someone who has been in a Vader suit(not of the quality as Hayden’s of course)for Halloween, I can attest: it really does make you feel different. Intimidating and somewhat more powerful. The looks I got etc.

So much is being communicated through the clash of sabers, adding to the amazing choreography both Hayden and Ewan mastered so impecably. If I ever meet any of those guys I will tell them it totally payed off.

I'm so glad both Hayden and Ewan got to reprise their last roles. Both were exceptional. I especially like all the love Hayden is getting. He more than deserves this spotlight. Both are sensational. Love the series too.

I never understood why they didn't just replicate the original Darth Vader helmet (which they had apparently) instead of making it perfectly symmetrical for Revenge of the Sith.
There’s not really a point. They just needed Hayden to be comfortable. I never even noticed until I watched this video and they said something, and tbh I still don’t notice
Let's see, his concerns for his mom as a kid were but a clincher to the Dark Side. Even so, he helped shut down the Droids on Naboo by taking out the control ship. In his young adult days, his declaration of wanting more to stop losing his friends his loved ones, were part of the Dark Side just waiting for the wrong spark.
I was 13 when episode 1 came out... And i secretly held out hope that I would get to play older Anakin in later episodes aaalll the way til episode 2 came out 🥲 LOOOL Btw im latino and look nothing like the boy Anakin. Sooo clearly I did not think it through. Maybe in the remakes 🤞🏻😅
It sucks that current-day LFL tossed out the idea of Vader's helmet being symmetrical/tucking under the chest armor. Honestly Vader never looked better; he was much more sleek and believable as a man encased in a suit.

what saber duels are made with cgi? Even in the clone wars series, they use motion capture for the saber duels

In the end Anakin had too much heaped upon him at far too young an age when he didn’t have the tools to deal with it and it eventually crushed him.
Unfortunately that is the majority of us millennials in society these days. So much is expected of us with so little time to do it
