Awesome perspective buddy. For me as a F2P player I’m just seeing this as an opportunity to get more Ultimus shards from Silver Surfer that I could get some of the newer toons who are in the Ultimus orb. The Annihilator characters are just a bonus as we haven’t had their F2P release events.
i cored for gladiator. best decision i’ve made on the game yet. went from 70 to 30 in arena. they do need to make these orbs a bit better tho. even if they have to give less, guaranteed shards are a must. i’ve had horrible luck with these orbs and i don’t think the game should come down to who gets the luckiest
I'm glad to hear you doing well in arena. I did not unlock Gladiator I'm a few shards. Short and his orb is gone, so I have to wait till I hit the next milestone. I am really curious to see how all this works out with the annihilators, and these orbs and milestones. It seems like they're experimenting with a bunch of different things. At the moment, good time to get your feedback in if you a part of the player voice or use the main marvel strike force discord server a lot.
I agree farm ability will be fine but every time the community pushes back against a decision made by Scopely, you release a video defending their course of action. Don't get me wrong I'm all for the added perspective, but it would be good to see you side with the community sometimes.
I think he's trying to give a more rational response to things versus the typical content creators that overreact and get the community all up in arms until you actually rationally think things thru. This community is not very tolerant of any changes and so any time anything is changed, there's a huge negative reaction which may or may not be warranted. Until people calm down and see things for what they are, in most cases it tends to be much ado about nothing. Granted, not every decision scopely is making is technically positive, however, the community needs to chill out and stop overreacting every time something is changed or different. There's plenty of content out there with the negative perspectives, so it's good to have a counter-balance to rationally come to a better conclusion.
I hear what you're saying a hundred percent man.I do and thanks for leaving the comment. You know how it goes, we live in a world where people post things like instant regret!!! There is a lot of that in this game. And although I agree there are some changes needed, it's hard to work on the actual problems, because some folks just because they wanna get more clicks, or they wanna get number one in reddit, blow things completely out of proportion. The community wanted the newest raid map changed. Scoply changed it and everybody's narrative was stealth raid changes!! What a great opportunity to encourage the player base to continue to give good feedback, but instead it always turns into some type of gossip scenario. But I do really appreciate the comment bro. We are trying to represent the community also, it's just the community that we don't hear from as much.
Maybe the farm ability will be okay, time will tell... But these orbs are trash, all i ever get is some silver surfer shards and occasionally a few single shard drops of the annihilators toons. I don't believe that scopely has anyone in except spenders and not just spenders but hefty spenders they basically tell f2p people to kick rocks on a regular basis and it really does start to wear a person down... At least it does me. Always being behind the meta for no other reason than to fatten their pockets is a real feels bad. I'm a totally invested player, I currently have lots of time to log in and participate way more than the average Joe... However I'm constantly behind the curve on everything in the game like ALWAYS. There is not much someone can do in vital game modes when spenders are gatekeeping, they just have an advantage and it's not a temporary one either because by the time you unlock and gear up what will counter the next new meta thing is out and you are back chasing your own tail.
Bro, you're a good player man. But unless for spending that big dog money, we're always gonna be a little bit behind. Try not to think about it as you're competing with the top All you can do is win the matches That they give you. We can probably beat people that spend 50 bucks But shouldn't be able to beat the people that spend five hundred bucks.
