My wife got me the MSI with the apocalyptic blade for Christmas, and it hasn’t left my pocket. Love everything about it. Solid line up! Thanks for the content.
yea it is really excellent, and I really feel like this new batch have a much better feel than the original first releases And you're welcome, thankyou as well
Yea Ive had my eyes on that before. It really does suit my tastes, especially the wharncliffe one. Its just that its constantly out of stock when I looked for it Not to worry though I really have enough knives to enjoy for now lol. Thanks though
I can confirm, my Spiro is so well built and it's incredibly well designed for how much they sell for. I just wish they made it slightly smaller but with keeping all of the same proportions.
The crossbar spiro has some of the best action I’ve felt. Awesome knife I think you would like it too. I just saw the other day he dropped a new batch of crossbar nomads. Today is payday and if they’re still in stock I’m picking one up. They come in warncliff too! Good call on the Asher
Yea they are amazing. If you want one of them, start with the 4th one (Ironfly Yolo because its a budget knife). Probably one of the best budget knives I got last year. 70usd is pushing it a bit for budget but its way cheaper than the ones surrounding it
I hate the hear you are having troubles with your channel at the moment. I especially feel your pain on the MSI and Marble meeting, I dropped my Towser S and the scales chipped in 2 places. I use my knives so I expect it will happen to them all but it hurts still. Don't worry about the monetization just focus on the content and the love of knives. Everything comes in time. As for the Kizer buying, I do not blame you. I picked up a Mini Sheepdog mid 2024 and I was blown away at how much I loved a slip joint. The quality was amazing and the blade was very formidable against everything I threw it at, so I bought another and another and then several more. No matter which model I pick up I am always impressed with it still. I hand someone a Nice Guy and tell them it was less than $50 and they just blink, knowing they bought a $200 Benchmade that didn't impress them as much. Then I hand them a SUB $200 premium Kizer and they as for a referral link.
I'll be dipping in and out, its not too bad, and yea its all about having a nice chat with the knife club and fellow enjoyers. It has definitely been fun/informative at times and I've learnt loads of things along the way And yeap.. whenever something drops onto the floor here is always a bit scary, theres the quick picking it up and examining it for damage. And yea of course damage and dings are fine and accumulate over time, its just natural. But that certain types of damage, like your scales splitting open, or a tip getting bent is not a lot of fun Kizer have kinda slowly gone ahead regarding more budget oriented overseas companies like Civivi. Their heat treatment especially. They have their Nitro V going up to 62-63 on some models ive seen before, average is 61 though, Civivi are still in 58-60 on a lot of Nitro V and their more expensive brand We Knives, they run the 20CV at 58 to 60 as well which is a bit weak. Anyways anything that I complained about in the video is something thats really a non issue, life goes on and its all good 👍 Have a good new year
I didn't jump on the MSI bandwagon when they first came out, but I ordered one with the white polymer scales recently. UPS seems to have lost track of it for a few days, but it should be here next week. Same thing with the Kizer Militaw. I just ordered the full-size one with the DLC and purple haze fat carbon. For whatever reason, it didn't appeal to me when it first dropped, and then the budget ones came out but were ugly as sin.
Reverse flicking the MSI is great. For a crossbar like lock, its more than good enough to have something akin to a detent, although not a wildly strong one like a frame/liner lock would. But yes for reverse flicking it is really nice. This MSI is much more improved when compared to the first batch that was released last year, so I would recommend.
thats the demko shark cub, stealth edition and in artillery grey colour (they have a fully blacked out one as well but I think this one looks better) One of the best versions of an already good knife
Happy new year mate Question where did you get the demko shark cub i can't find it anywhere do you know someone maybe or can you help me get one nice video overall💯🤌
Thankyou, same to you too, for the shark cub these versions I’m showing they were selling them off the demko website and Bladehq as well, if you live in the states they should be easy to get eventually. I got mine from the website but with that colour scheme it’s sold out. Haven’t checked if they have restocked but I’m sure they will soon once the initial surge is over. They are absolutely fantastic and the best version of the shark cub I’ve had
The one on the end? Thats just acrylic, it looks great though (in my opinion, doesnt have the best grip either). They have them in some other really wild colour mixtures as well, well worth having a look artisancutlery.net/products/artisan-cutlery-holm-1875p-ar-rpm9-steel-blade-acrylic-handle-folding-knives?variant=48864858603713
@@workingknives they are all nice. The double safety lock on them isnt bad either, once you have flicked it enough you get used to putting it back into place quickly if you accidentally hit it with your finger. They are the cheapest out of all of the Holm family and I think the best. Since I Already have loads of S90V upgrades from CJRB and Artisan, I think I'm going to avoid that and just enjoy the ar-rpm9 steel which is so so easy to strop back up to razor sharp
@@workingknives These kinda steels may not have the longest edge retention but its fun and easy to quickly strop / sharpening them back up. Super edge holding steels on the other hand are a bit more of a pain in the ass to sharpen... Im more into Nitro V nowadays a lot because of how easy it strops up, same with 14C28N. Kizers heat treats on Nitro V are getting better every release, I just got a few things that are at 61.5 or 62 hrc which is really nice if thats true. Civivi is still doing their Nitro V at 58 - 60 which is where it gets its bad reputation from lol. Sorry for xtra long msg lol just wanted to share what came to mind

is the detent weak on the MSI? I love reverse flicking knives, would you still recommend?

Let’s get rid off that MSI. !! Go ahead and just send that to me I guess I’ll help you out by taking it off your hands 😂😂
That purple haze on that artisan thoo...
