For people calling Ash or any other CC’s “simps”…just look at this CC’s video from a few months ago about Plarium doing great things for FTP…and admitting in his video he was kissing Plarium’s azz to get into the creator content program “if [the video] works!” It was kind of funny, and honestly fine with me….but if you’re this guys fans, don’t hate on ash for some perceived notion of him simping when your own guy openly sucks up to them! Not sure how long you’ve been around, but Raid HAS had a history of smaller CC’s posting hot takes or going after larger CC’s to start drama and get clicks and views (SodaDragon Gaming) or maintain relevance for a channel (StewGaming). So I do understand wanting to pause and make sure he’s not IMMEDIATELY hoping in and collabing with everyone. I actually have the opposite response- I respect this move. He hasn’t said he won’t go on… just not right now. And Wiz has commented on both Saph and Ash’s videos and now posted this apology. Seems like he’s owned it. Why don’t we wait and see? It’s been like, what… 24hrs? Lol

I find the argument that showing loot box openings in video games supports gambling to be disingenuous. Yes, there are people with gambling addictions, and these videos can negatively influence them, but that doesn’t mean RUclips creators are solely responsible for their struggles. Additionally, if you’re creating content for a game with loot boxes, the claim that you’re promoting gambling-even if you focus solely on gameplay and avoid loot box videos-is absurd. If the game itself already includes gambling mechanics, then the game's existence is what promotes gambling, not the gameplay content you create. Using this logic, should we stop talking about enjoying a glass of wine because it might influence alcoholics? Should movies avoid nudity because it might affect sex addicts? Should we ban any portrayal of violence in media because it might inspire aggression in certain individuals? This argument shifts responsibility unfairly onto content creators, rather than addressing the systems or behaviors that need regulation.
I am a subscriber and wont be canceling. The only fans comment was so wrong. You should have accepted the Collab from Ash and all this matter would have been over and done with easily and quickly. As a viewer you have to offer advice and also be entertaining - Ash more than any other CC shows builds for all Hero's for good or bad, he entertains as well. Shard pulls keep me in check as so many pulls i watch are awful so i am encouraged to pull when guaranteed max benefit to me - not clan etc.

It goes without saying that people are free to do what they want with their channel or their gameplay. But that does not mean others cannot critique it (which implicitly means aiming to influence future direction). That is the nature of human society and communication that we attempt to influence each other. People that reacted to you with "So and so are free to do what they like" are not really presenting a counter argument at all.
Your post makes it sound like you didn't read very many (if any) of the comments on his initial video. There were many rebuttals that disagreed with his core points, and I made several as well addressing counter points and actual reasons why his commentary had no basis in reason nor had any consistency. It's good he's attempting a meaculpa, but that's all it is--merely an attempt. He just said here that he stands by what he said, but came across too strong? That has no logical consistency in and of itself. If he stands by his opinions, he stands by how he said it. All this video comes across as wishing he was more like a politician, and said the same thing in a more milquetoast manner so that it wasn't outright as insulting as it was. I gave him a great deal of benefit of the doubt in my replies, but unfortunately this video just doesn't cut it. He's not sorry for the lack of consistency or illogical points, but just that it got such negative reception and rightfully so. There is stating opinion, and outright dragging someone. I'd suggest you watch Ash's reply to this video, as well as Saph's in one of his videos because they show how to disagree and state opinion without being condescending nor show outright disrespect.

a lot of people are very frustrated with the state of the game currently i myself lost the ability to meaningfully participate in hydra when they made all the recent changes im mad about that im no RAID CC but in my opinion you acted out of anger over the content creator program. we are all human and we all make mistakes. you called them out it doesnt matter what you do or do not say when you do that. you called out not one but 2 channels who are far bigger and much better well known every time i ask a question in the raid official discord about a champion people post ash and saph videos if it isnt them its hellhades ash and sahp are great cc's who do shard opening videos because they can one thing i would love is a video on exactly how they can manage to farm up rare void and sacred shards. boozer is 100% FTP and as ash just said he did a shard pull vid just the other day. is shard pulling a gamble yea ill agree its a gamble with in game currency that was either bought or grinded/farmed but all of these CC's have explained and strongly urged people in the past to spend within there own means. a few months ago ash did a video where he gave away an account that someone had created and spent thousands of dollars on the game. decided he had made a mistake and wanted it to go away. so he gave it to ash to do a give away. ash spent 20 mins of that video talking about spending and mental health before the last 5-10 talking about how to enter and win the give away. at the end of the day you made a mistake out of anger probably without doing much research and one of your points was fairly degrading towards female CC's ash loves to help out smaller raid CC's and thats what he did with carla. im not one of your constant viewers and to be honest this little bit of drama here is how i found your channel. but i dont think you should give away your accounts. all the time and potentially money you have spent on the accounts would have just bin a waste for you and your content. hell the reason i watch hell hades/saph/ash AND bozzer is because i really like to see the variety of how to tackle a problem in game. thats the beauty of raid there are many solutions to dragon 25 and they each have all posted multiple videos on it they all collectively and on there own came out against the hydra changes. they all constantly speak out in effort to bring attention to broken aspects of the game to get it fixed are you gonna face the fire for this drama? yes! you called out other CC's with a lot more influence than you its gonna happen but if you come out with a sincere apology ( this was clearly not that not that your statement here was "no disrespect but i stand by my opinion" where in the video you where kinda disrespectful to both saph and ash and where fairly misogynistic towards carla and all other female CC's. have your cake .... eat it .... then let the drama die and move on. dont give away the accounts you didnt even show them in the vid where you called out ash and saph originally. the lesson here is do your research and make sure your not making a video out of rage and jealousy. i would also encourage you to accept the colabs with ash and saph. some of the best content is when 2 CC's with completely different opinions come together and talk about and aspect of the game. ash teaches saph and hell hades things and vice versa. maybe joining the alliance would be a great thing for you and your content and may even speed you into the creator program.

1) Saying content creators can say and do what they want seems a little hollow after you have already called them out with what they say and how they do it. 2) Taking shard opening off your channel shouldn't really be an option. This game relies heavily on pulling shards, even the "big" content creator fail in their videos. Anyone who gets pulled into a gambling mindset is clinically predisposed to gambling in the first place. BUT as a creator you know you can't create content without having the champions, and how do you get the champions? Through shard pulls. I have always looked at pulling shards as a low percentage chance to start with, because I have a mind that understands probability. The entertainment value of creators such as yourself is to see that even you can fail at pulling shards and personally, that makes me feel better when I fail. "Misery loves company". 3) I would recommend that you keep doing you for your channel, and be happy with that. I have learned in life when you start comparing yourself to others based on their perceived success you will always lose. I can only be better if I try and be better than who I was yesterday. 4) Now admit, more exposure for your channel would be a good thing, I'm sure no one would disagree with that. Reach out to other creators for tips, advice and thoughts on how to do that. NO ONE can do everything by themselves. If you chose not to reach out and you want to have this channel be yours and yours alone, then don't shine the light on anyone else. 5) You have a strong core of followers, keep your focus on them and the content they have become a fan of. Do what you do, because you enjoy doing it. The more people see you loving what you do, I suspect your subscribers will increase. I'll help that right now by subscribing. 6) I watch a lot of creators for my knowledge of the game to increase, none of them know everything, none of them see the game the same way. "Best of" lists are highly susceptible to personal opinion to start with. but when you take a piece of information from here, another from there, and another from somewhere else, your own knowledge base increases and you can manage the game better. Show me what you know about the game that I don't.

I believe that some of the critiques you mentioned in the latest video are valid and deserve to be discussed. Obviously, that doesn't mean I agree with you on all the points, but I do see the value in the debate you are presenting. I also believe you are missing a golden opportunity by refusing those two collaborations-to own and defend your positions while rephrasing the points where you may have been a bit clumsy. Criticizing others through videos is quite low; it's rarely appreciated content and, frankly, it's rather cowardly. This video portrays someone who, instead of taking responsibility for their words and actions, tries to redirect attention elsewhere and backs down instead of standing firm. I think Saph and Ash are good content creators who likely would have helped you out of the hole you’ve dug for yourself. If I were you, I’d have the humility to reach out to them again. It would demonstrate much more strength and leadership while probably benefiting your channel as well.
So my take away from this video is your content will be less exciting to watch (I love a shard opening - its a gacha game) and you couldnt bring yourself to fully apologise to 3 excellent content creators who are helping this game flourish and in turn supporting your channel's demographic. You were right. Most of the bigger CCs post 95%+ useless garbage. There used to be lots of actually useful content and now there's almost none. The fact that so many people still watch them and run around attacking anyone who even suggests they're not amazing is a great indicator to why the game is in such a sorry state. Ash makes accessible and easy to understand guides, and saph truly is brilliant. They are human and saph has been outspoken a few times in an unpopular way, but both of them are incredibly knowledgeable about the game and helpful. And…they are engaging. Ash is the most positive CC out there. Just consider his response to Wizard’s video. For you to blame the state of the game and all the negative things on Ash of all people, even Saph, makes me believe you’ve never really engaged with their content.

I did not watch the other video (...yet), but I am glad you are not doing shard pull videos. I do not watch those and find them irritating. Not sure what you said about the other guys... I used to watch Ash, but I find him too theatrical now. We all choose what we watch & I like that there is a choice. Everyone has their own reasons for playing the game and looking at videos.
Hey Dave, don't let anyone bully you. You have always been a great content creator. You were the only one to stand up and speak out about them, hence why Ash, aka Coco Melon, was so quick to invite you onto his platform to quiet you. You said what most players were thinking. Saph and HH are one of the main reasons this game is the way it is. I watched HH go on a smaller channel and have the guy walk him through the Wixwell team setup, only to then advocate for Raid to change it. Saph does think he's the smartest person playing, and his response video was about how the game wasn't fun for him, others be damned. Most people play the game FTP or spend very little, so when they get a free champion or a fusion champion that good and can help their team, they're grateful. Saph, aka Karen, takes it upon himself to complain and advocate for it to be nerfed to the ground. It's because of your videos and advice that I was able to fix my account. When I started playing Raid, I watched a lot of Ash and HH, which messed my account up With the constant... ever-changing videos of which champions are good, you have managed to put out great content by yourself and are growing because of it. I unsubscribed from them a long time ago because their content is boring and predictable. I have started watching smaller creators, and they have helped my account as well.
Ash has little talent for the game. I've watched his clash of clans channel, and he sucks at that game just as much as he sucks at Raid. He, like many, just spends for the best champs and best gear and then stumbles his way through things with brute power rather than with gaming know how. HH and company hate Plarium so much they are launching their own studio and own game. HH is also not very good at Raid. The gaming talent resides with Saph. Good for Dave for calling out Ash (and others) on the hypocrisy of claiming to be all supportive of addictions and then still putting out content that stokes addictions. Screw these CCs.

@modernthinker300 I totally agree. As I stated when I started the raid, I watched Ash's videos, and they totally messed up my account. It was Dave who helped me fix some of the content. I sent him my roster, and he helped me. For each legendary or epic champion, I would get ask him for his advice, and he would tell me how to how to gear them. Also, if we asked him to make videos about something, he would. His content is about helping players, not just putting out the same garbage. Have you noticed how that circle of content creators all put out the same thing, and it's always the same? Which champion to max out, which champions are good or bad? I watch Dave and Gameleap, plus a few other smaller creators.

Not sure how long you’ve been around, but Raid HAS had a history of smaller CC’s posting hot takes or going after larger CC’s to start drama and get clicks and views (SodaDragon Gaming) or maintain relevance for a channel (StewGaming). So I do understand wanting to pause and make sure he’s not IMMEDIATELY hoping in and collabing with everyone. I actually have the opposite response- I respect this move. He hasn’t said he won’t go on… just not right now. And Wiz has commented on both Saph and Ash’s videos and now posted this apology. Seems like he’s owned it.

It goes without saying that people are free to do what they want with their channel or their gameplay. But that does not mean others cannot critique it (which implicitly means aiming to influence future direction). That is the nature of human society and communication that we attempt to influence each other. People that reacted to you with "So and so are free to do what they like" are not really presenting a counter argument at all.
Your post makes it sound like you didn't read very many (if any) of the comments on his initial video.
There were many rebuttals that disagreed with his core points, and I made several as well addressing counter points and actual reasons why his commentary had no basis in reason nor had any consistency.
It's good he's attempting a meaculpa, but that's all it is--merely an attempt.
He just said here that he stands by what he said, but came across too strong? That has no logical consistency in and of itself.
If he stands by his opinions, he stands by how he said it. All this video comes across as wishing he was more like a politician, and said the same thing in a more milquetoast manner so that it wasn't outright as insulting as it was.

a lot of people are very frustrated with the state of the game currently i myself lost the ability to meaningfully participate in hydra when they made all the recent changes im mad about that im no RAID CC but in my opinion you acted out of anger over the content creator program. we are all human and we all make mistakes. you called them out it doesnt matter what you do or do not say when you do that. you called out not one but 2 channels who are far bigger and much better well known every time i ask a question in the raid official discord about a champion people post ash and saph videos if it isnt them its hellhades ash and sahp are great cc's who do shard opening videos because they can one thing i would love is a video on exactly how they can manage to farm up rare void and sacred shards. boozer is 100% FTP and as ash just said he did a shard pull vid just the other day. is shard pulling a gamble yea ill agree its a gamble with in game currency that was either bought or grinded/farmed but all of these CC's have explained and strongly urged people in the past to spend within there own means.
a few months ago ash did a video where he gave away an account that someone had created and spent thousands of dollars on the game. decided he had made a mistake and wanted it to go away. so he gave it to ash to do a give away. ash spent 20 mins of that video talking about spending and mental health before the last 5-10 talking about how to enter and win the give away.
at the end of the day you made a mistake out of anger probably without doing much research and one of your points was fairly degrading towards female CC's ash loves to help out smaller raid CC's and thats what he did with carla. im not one of your constant viewers and to be honest this little bit of drama here is how i found your channel. but i dont think you should give away your accounts. all the time and potentially money you have spent on the accounts would have just bin a waste for you and your content. hell the reason i watch hell hades/saph/ash AND bozzer is because i really like to see the variety of how to tackle a problem in game. thats the beauty of raid there are many solutions to dragon 25 and they each have all posted multiple videos on it they all collectively and on there own came out against the hydra changes.

Back track much bro you mess up man up move on
1) Saying content creators can say and do what they want seems a little hollow after you have already called them out with what they say and how they do it.
2) Taking shard opening off your channel shouldn't really be an option. This game relies heavily on pulling shards, even the "big" content creator fail in their videos. Anyone who gets pulled into a gambling mindset is clinically predisposed to gambling in the first place. BUT as a creator you know you can't create content without having the champions, and how do you get the champions? Through shard pulls. I have always looked at pulling shards as a low percentage chance to start with, because I have a mind that understands probability. The entertainment value of creators such as yourself is to see that even you can fail at pulling shards and personally, that makes me feel better when I fail. "Misery loves company".
3) I would recommend that you keep doing you for your channel, and be happy with that. I have learned in life when you start comparing yourself to others based on their perceived success you will always lose. I can only be better if I try and be better than who I was yesterday.
4) Now admit, more exposure for your channel would be a good thing, I'm sure no one would disagree with that. Reach out to other creators for tips, advice and thoughts on how to do that. NO ONE can do everything by themselves. If you chose not to reach out and you want to have this channel be yours and yours alone, then don't shine the light on anyone else.
5) You have a strong core of followers, keep your focus on them and the content they have become a fan of. Do what you do, because you enjoy doing it. The more people see you loving what you do, I suspect your subscribers will increase. I'll help that right now by subscribing.
6) I watch a lot of creators for my knowledge of the game to increase, none of them know everything, none of them see the game the same way. "Best of" lists are highly susceptible to personal opinion to start with. but when you take a piece of information from here, another from there, and another from somewhere else, your own knowledge base increases and you can manage the game better. Show me what you know about the game that I don't.
No one is perfect. I've been in your shoes before. Sometimes I say things that in the moment felt right but on reflection was not based in fact and more so, my emotion. I believe that some of the critiques you mentioned in the latest video are valid and deserve to be discussed. Obviously, that doesn't mean I agree with you on all the points, but I do see the value in the debate you are presenting.
I also believe you are missing a golden opportunity by refusing those two collaborations-to own and defend your positions while rephrasing the points where you may have been a bit clumsy. I did not watch the other video (...yet), but I am glad you are not doing shard pull videos. I do not watch those and find them irritating. Not sure what you said about the other guys... I used to watch Ash, but I find him too theatrical now. We all choose what we watch & I like that there is a choice. Everyone has their own reasons for playing the game and looking at videos.
Hey Dave, don't let anyone bully you. You have always been a great content creator. You were the only one to stand up and speak out about them, hence why Ash, aka Coco Melon, was so quick to invite you onto his platform to quiet you. You said what most players were thinking. Saph and HH are one of the main reasons this game is the way it is. I watched HH go on a smaller channel and have the guy walk him through the Wixwell team setup, only to then advocate for Raid to change it.
Saph does think he's the smartest person playing, and his response video was about how the game wasn't fun for him, others be damned. Most people play the game FTP or spend very little, so when they get a free champion or a fusion champion that good and can help their team, they're grateful. Saph, aka Karen, takes it upon himself to complain and advocate for it to be nerfed to the ground.
It's because of your videos and advice that I was able to fix my account. When I started playing Raid, I watched a lot of Ash and HH, which messed my account up With the constant... ever-changing videos of which champions are good, you have managed to put out great content by yourself and are growing because of it. I unsubscribed from them a long time ago because their content is boring and predictable. I have started watching smaller creators, and they have helped my account as well.
Ash has little talent for the game. I've watched his clash of clans channel, and he sucks at that game just as much as he sucks at Raid.
He, like many, just spends for the best champs and best gear and then stumbles his way through things with brute power rather than with gaming know how.
HH and company hate Plarium so much they are launching their own studio and own game. HH is also not very good at Raid. The gaming talent resides with Saph.
Good for Dave for calling out Ash (and others) on the hypocrisy of claiming to be all supportive of addictions and then still putting out content that stokes addictions. Screw these CCs.
“What most players are thinking?” Sure buddy. Maybe in this tiny community you all think this way. Ash has never claimed to be a raid shadow legends god. He always spreads positivity and kindness. Wizard dingus here tried the Stewgaming method and decided he doesn’t have the spine for it.

@modernthinker300 I totally agree. As I stated when I started the raid, I watched Ash's videos, and they totally messed up my account. It was Dave who helped me fix some of the content. I sent him my roster, and he helped me. For each legendary or epic champion, I would get ask him for his advice, and he would tell me how to how to gear them. Also, if we asked him to make videos about something, he would. His content is about helping players, not just putting out the same garbage. Have you noticed how that circle of content creators all put out the same thing, and it's always the same? Which champion to max out, which champions are good or bad? I watch Dave and Gameleap, plus a few other smaller creators.
@@jcanfoxash explicitly asked his viewers not to come here and negatively comment on this guys channel. Ash is the most outwardly positive CC out there…he donates to charities for shard pulls. Please Don’t put the bad apples on ash or the rest of his viewers!

Look i unsubscribe from your channel yesterday but Ash put his video out today and he right 2 wrongs don't make it right!! I can see some things but you really do need to be a man and get with Ash and talk this out it's like you said everyone is entitled to their own opinion!!! But for you not wanting to talk to Ash about this it's Ludacris he's a Great person and a Great father and the Best CC, in my opinion!!!!!
