    This sort of work is only dangerous when there is an inexperienced operator on the machine. The experienced operator knows the risks and and operates accordingly.

    It would be dangerous if he got caught up there in a monsoon! I don’t see any silt fence, stone in ditch lines etc. How do you all keep it from washing out in the rainy season?!?!

    Well, this job is not unusually dangerous, but the operator push the limit for the benefit of the camera when he is going closer to a near sheer drop when clearing a level area, there is no need to get so close to the edge as he is, even taking the front of the track over the drop off, this is both unnecessary and hazardeous, especially when using a dozer with a comparative short track and a high centre of gravity as is common on Cat dozers in the past fourty years or so.
    Stay safe, ☆ Niels..

    Good machine the D7. Not sure where the danger is but enjoyed watching machine work. Wanted to kick that operator off couple times and do it myself. He must be working by the hour cause he and getting nothing done like that. Let that baby eat. Throttle wide open let’s goooo

    • @einfelder8262
      @einfelder8262 Год назад +1

      I agree. Must be his own machine, was showing plenty of mechanical sympathy. The dozer will last forever that way :) But the ground wasn't a challenge either, just soft dry clay almost sand.

    • @BulldozerMountain
      @BulldozerMountain  Год назад +1

      the dangerous meaning here is, the operator can't see the track so that if he eats a little too much he will fall into the abyss

    have also been working in dangerous parts with crawler tractors, cutting vegetation cover material, that job is not the job you do with that D6T, it is not so dangerous, that is common for someone who already has experience, for me it is something dangerous, it is pull the tractor uphill and there is rock, but the machine can be pulled from the side if it is dangerous due to the slope slope and the weight of the machine
