Greetings,
I hope you enjoy my new video. Sheesh. I'm spending a LOT more time on videos these days.
Currently in the middle of our next video, which is quitting the Internet for the entire month of October!
There are a few exceptions, like uploading this video and writing this comment. I was planning on just uploading this video and then not checking comments or anything, but I just CAN'T do that! I'll be able to check for a limited time later tonight. So if you want to say anything to me, do it now! If you're a jerk and want to say something mean, well, I hope you find peace someday.
Hope all is well!
Craig
Don't convince me to improve myself. You aren't the boss of me.
Wheezy, I love your content. It's original, creative, hilarious, and inspiring and I think you're one of the best RUclipsrs nowadays :) Thank you for your work!
I love that shot from 6:53, it's so serene.
Great video, Craig! I don't know when you'll see this comment - either during your limited time tonight or at the end of the month off Internet. Either way, you're awesome and an inspiration!
WheezyWaiter hi, I love your stuff and binged all through summer. While camp counseling, it was great to sit down with one of your videos after long days with rabid kids. Just wanted you to hear someone say your stuff is great.
Your parents need their own channel. I would watch it non stop.
You mean Butch and Hotstuff Benzine?
Agree 100%
Strong agree
Freaking hilarious!
My gosh yes. They are so dang awesome. And hilarious.
The exchanges between your parents make me laugh my ass off every freaking time
DANIEL!? What!!!?
Seeing him here... ain't familiah!
I literally feel like screaming "these endorphins are great" when i run lol. Feels amazing after the first 10 minutes.
you get endorphins that quick? ;-)
Hi X! Fancy meeting you here!
Stfu
@xisumavoid Shouldn't you be killing Tango and mispronouncing "Grian" or something?
Yeah I feel like hell for the first 15 minutes but after that it gets better. Although I still can't get into running, it messes with my back, but the elliptical is great.
I've been running for years now. Where's the runner's high? Where are my endorfins and feeling good? It never came. I'm just racing against the slowly tightening grip of death.
“Who are you, Dwayne the f*** Johnson?” LMFAOO 😭
I came just for his parents.
MaSTAR Media that came out wrong ; )~
Hmmmmmm ok
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
And Nietzsche :D
I also came
I started working out about 7 months ago for 1 reason: I was not happy with how my clothes fit my body.
I started growing muscles slowly and didn't notice much, but looking back at my "old" photos I can see a clear difference, on top of having better mental and physical health of course.
I spend 1 hour 4 days a week in the gym. That's it.
I don't even keep a strict diet. I don't do protein shakes or anything.
I didn't like it at first, but 7 months later... Boy is that one of the best decisions I've done in my life.
Nice. Good job Pal. I wanna do the one punch man challenge (100 squats, 100 sit ups, 100 push ups and a 10 km run every day) and once my excercise gear arrives, I will start it :)
Instead of working out, I watched this and took a nap
Your parents are everything 🙌😂😂😂
"Dwayne the F*** Johnson" just ruined me.
Every cut back to the mother has her obsessively scrolling...ok, Im not going to point everything else his parents do.
100% yes!
Womens magazine. XD
Why the fuck are we watching wheezy? Clearly the comedic genius is farther up the family tree.
I subscribed after I found this channel from the quitting sugar video. Just wanted to say you are doing a great job at on making funny, relevant, and entertaining videos. I am looking forward to the next one
I did too! Then I started watching wheezy news! I was sooooooo excited when I saw this was up! I'm INVOLVED!
Welcome, new beardlovers!
Same here, literally just a half hour ago.
Same here! I'm so happy and refreshed to see such happy and refreshing videos!
Same here! I’m hooked!
Hank Green: Consistent Objector.
It's because he's partially got a scientist's mind, lol.
I loved every second of him objecting, tho.
@@mopbuckets4734 You failed to capitalise the I (and yes that IS how you spell capitalise), go on tell me I'm hilarious...
I enjoy the end of exercise, because I am no longer doing it.
That's actually one of the things that got me into cold showers a few months ago. "You're not excited to shower anymore. You're excited to stop showering, and you love the feeling when you get out of the shower." Although now I actually do enjoy the shower part itself pretty often.
This is a very interesting video, because I just recently started my own sort of adventure with getting more active and healthy over this past summer. Six months ago, I weighed about 327 pounds, while now I'm down to 194 pounds. It's sort of funny to say this, but all it took was upping my activity level and watching what I ate. Taking (at least) hour long walks throughout my neighborhood every day was, at first, a chore - something that I felt I needed to do. Some days early on felt forced, but as time moved on I grew to really enjoy my walks. Being able to zone out and get into my own space while listening to music and enjoying nature has really become a new love for me.
While my routine (walking, jogging, and hiking) isn't nearly as intense as cross-fit, it's still a rewarding experience in its own right. Thanks for making this video, Craig!
Thank you very much! Sometimes even I have a hard time believing it, haha.
that is amazing! Keep it up!
Awesome job, Nate!
I did something similar. I did this crazy new fad diet called “Eat Less, Move More”. It’s backed by science. Congrats on the new lifestyle!
As an brasilian physician once said on youtube: "If your waiting for that urging desire to exercise, rest assured, it will never come..."
Unless you're one of those Crossfit freaks.....
When you got killed by a heavy wod and you wake up the next day wanting to do it again, yeah crossfitters
A highly oxygenated brain works better. That's why i do it. Whenever i feel sad or unmotivated, or have work to do or i'm uninspired when trying to create something, i start working out or take a ride on my long board. After that, i'm good to go.
A lot of great writers from the past, for example, used to walk miles and miles in a single day, letting their mind wander. Anything that gets you moving is good for your brain.
Even Chuck Palahniuk said that when he's stuck, he goes to the gym and it totally works.
With the title being what it is, I was sort of reluctant to watch because of my weird relationship with exercise, but I SO IDENTIFY WITH HANK. Thank you for including his point-of-view in this. It helps to know I'm not the only one who isn't keen on exercise and would rather just dance.
Dancing IS exercise. So is hiking. So is going swimming at the beach, etc.
Yes! And they're fun, so it doesn't feel like just exercice for the sake of itself! More dancing, more hiking, more swimming! :D
Hi! I'm training to be a professional dancer so I'm kinda bias but! Dance is an Excellent form of exercise! It works you physically, but also mentally (picking up/remember choreograph, coordination, etc) and artistically (musicality, texture, performance, etc). Seriously, just go take a dance class. You'll have a good time, I promise.
I woke up this morning hurting all over and came to the conclusion I need to start excercising. Then I spent the whole day trying to get my mind in the right space to convince myself this time I wont stop after the 2nd or 3rd workout. And thought aboout why people like to excrcise. right when I want to go to bed I see this. great video.
A random stranger on the internet believes in you -- you can do it!
From someone who used to be completely adverse to the idea of exercise, along with being someone whom if you were a friend of mine 'what him in a gym? Whaaaat?' or such, I can tell you the effort is worth it. Starting is the hard part, keeping it up is even harder but the feel of completing a workout is just worth it. What exercise did you try, cause it could of just not been for you. Try a couple of things. Most of all I wish you luck! You can do it!
Don't hit it too hard when you are just getting back into it. Anything at all that gets you outside or to the gym is a win. Consistency is key! Even if you don't feel like it one day make yourself do just 5 min. Chances are, you'll get into it!
When you stop after 3 times, it's okay! If you forget to brush your teeth before bed you don't say 'awe shucks, I missed a day, better never work out again ' nah. You make sure you brush them the next chance :) it's just health hygiene
What are your goals with exercising? Figuring out your motive might help you ignite your passion. Also, find your workout. Not every type of exercise will work for everyone. Try new types of training techniques, such as the gym, cross-fit, HIT, Yoga, Pilates, Hiking, walking, etc. Try a combination of aerobics with anaerobics. Once I realized a combination of walking, hiking, lifting weights and yoga was for me - exercising was no longer mundane. And I switch up my aerobics methods as to not be so "repetitive"; during the summer I am swimming at least 3 days a week but during the winter I crave yoga. So get out there and try new things. You will find your groove. There is no right or wrong answer here. Just figure out your exercising goals and just do it! 🌟
This video simultaneously makes me feel less awful about not exercising and makes me less scared about getting back into exercise. Thanks a LOT, Craig.
I think you missed a big reason why people like excercise: sports! I love playing tennis, I hate running for no reason. Sports are fun and great excercise! The motivation can be in competition, comradery and improving your skills!
100%. Inline skating does it for me
Now I've started skateboarding too. It's kind of social and just a way to get around like riding a bike, but way more portable.
The Hank doing pilates scene 😂
Are you saying Muscle Hank is fake??? 😱
Exercise is amazing after you get over the "oh my god this is awful" bump. My mental and physical health have never been better. Sometimes I get amazed at my how my body gets stronger and faster every day
I've been skateboarding for 31 years now and not planning to stop. We're made to move
So glad so many more people are experiencing Wheezy and his beard

God I love your channel. Don’t ever quit the internet again though because I need more. You infatuate me.
I’ve recently gotten back into exercising (and I mean like instead of working out twice and giving up, I’ve actually worked out regularly 2-3 times a week for the last two months) and I have to say this is my advice:
1. The first day is tough, but it gets better
2. The first time you hit that inevitable wall where you want to skip your workout, don’t. That’s when you need go the most because if you skip that day, you’ll skip the rest.
3. Go at your own pace. It’s good to have goals, but make them achievable and be kind to yourself. It’s not easy especially at first. Do what you can and build on that. Challenge yourself slowly.
That lung burn on cold days tho ... 😨💀
Run on a treadmill, duuh
Miks Awesome!! Can I email you an address to purchase and send one to me, or a monthly gym membership? Thx 😛
Miks running outside is better for you
The new format is really really working. Like really well. Great job man.
The "JeJunest" comment had me on the floor laughing.
"I'm gonna have like a food and it's gonna feel great." - Hank Green
Nope, don't enjoy exercise, but I do it to remain alive.
Which is an overly dramatic way to put it, I suppose, but my health was not in an especially great place until I changed my diet, and changing my diet kinda forced me to exercise since I would otherwise lose weight without gaining muscle mass. I was diagnosed with diabetes, and I started having panic attacks, among other issues. So, I thought I'd try to reverse it.
And I did. I'm no longer diabetic. Went from 230 lbs to around 157 lbs (fluxes from 155 to 160). Unfortunately, I didn't exercise my rear enough, and my coccyx feels exposed... but hopefully I'll get some muscles built around there so I can sit more comfortably.
That's awesome to hear, stranger.
@@williandalsoto806 😂🤣
I want bigger butt muscles too. Sitting is soo uncomfortable when the chair is entirely made of wood.
Do enough exercise that you feel physically good each time... Then it is easier to keep wanting to do it.
I despise working out but I'm vain af so I do it. Hopefully it'll pay off in the health department later in life as well.
This is the BEST video i cant wait for it to go viral
I love how exercise makes me feel! I feel so great AFTER I exercise.
I’m so glad someone said they were achy and tired after they exercise. That’s how I feel after working out,
This may actually encourage me to do more exercise. Thanks Craig. (not being a creep, i'm serious.. really I am.. serious.. not a creep)
I love your parents oh my god #relationshipgoals
"These endorphins! Are wonderful!" LOL
The parents are hilarious, the little skits, the clips of shows, just all of the work you put in to these videos is impressive. Great job
Woooooow, I had to pause the video at 4:40 cuz that "Bad adviiiiiiiiiice" was just too hilarious. I've been laughing for five minutes straight now. lololol
I've been a Beardlover and subscriber for years and years but fell out of the RUclips-watching life until a few months ago. Videos like these are what have gotten me back into it - great quality content that I genuinely feel enriches my life rather than just filling up time.
I'm so appreciative of the no-internet challenge that you and Chyna are doing, and honestly hope that your results will inspire me to spend my internet time more wisely. I've found myself binging on too many other 'filler' videos since I've been back in the RUclips bubble, so I'm very interested to find out how you phase the internet back into your life at the end of this month.
In any case, thanks so much Wheezy for all of the hard work you've put into your videos and for consistently being a channel that I can rely on for enjoyable and educational content. Just wanted you to know that you're genuinely making people's lives better. :)
Lozridge ~ I agree with everything you’ve mentioned ~ Thank you @WheezyWaiter
We all feel like hank right now
except dancing
I'm so glad you got Jordan on here! Her energy on working out is contagious!
Here's another one: it makes my back feel better. When I feel like my back is locked up, walking for at least 15-20 minutes is the absolute best way I can pop my spine. In general, my back just feels infinitely better since I started exercising regularly.
And another: when I take walks outside, getting sun probably helps with symptoms of seasonal affective disorder.
Also: when I take a walk through a park, being surrounded by green and having city sounds muffled makes me feel centered and less stressed.
taking walks (especially outside in the morning sunlight) has literally been life-changing. it works best when i use it as a mindfulness practice, so i'm not unwittingly ruminating as i walk too. my mood feels lighter and more resilient, and i get better sleep too.
Never thought I'd be addicted to my workout but I am! Still fat but I'm pretty healthy
This guy (and his folks) always brighten my day.
I found your channel about two hours ago and I've been doing nothing but binging your videos! Congratulations on 11 years of RUclips - you're fantastic, and have re-inspired my excitement about this platform's content creators. Thank you for making me laugh my ass off!
All the best RUclipsrs apparently live in the same neighborhood, hate exercise, and are in decent enough shape... while I'm over here after having three pots of coffee and a grocery store deli sub.

Thank you, I just figured out why I've felt depressed the past couple weeks and havent been able to figure out why. I havent been running while letting my toe heal from some soreness. I love running because it clears my head. I also love lifting, it makes me feel like I'm improving myself but it doesnt free my mind like running does.
I think there are several reasons why we like exercise.
1. The pain comes to be associated with the pride of gains. As we watch fatty deposits disappear, muscles grow, and more activities and movements become available.
2. Movements becoming available that you couldn't do before is like unlocking an achievement in your own body, so the boredom subsides.
3. As boredom and pain subside, exercise becomes an end in itself, rather than a means- therefore we find it inconvenient that there are obstacles between us and our exercise.
Ultimately, the people who stick with fitness are the ones who find a movement that they like to do, and so they keep doing it. For me, it was using kettlebells. Everyone has something they want to do physically, so it's mostly a matter of attempting movements until you find the one that will inspire you to do the ones you don't want to do.
Great video, I hope it gets someone out there moving.
Craig I have not enjoyed a video this much (from ANYONE) in a long time. This is just fantastic and I'm so glad you decided to start giving yourself the time needed so you can make the best things possible, because this one knocked it out of the park!
Welcome back Wheezy!
I love running, in excited for it to be cooler so I can go running everyday again :)
I've been away from your videos for 9 months, great to be back
This half wheezy video, half documentary is officially my new favorite style that you’ve done. Love it.
Great job wheezy. This video was great!
I really liked this format Wheezy.
Your parents are awesome LOL...
Love your videos, your format is fantastic. Seriously clipping to the parents is hilarious, great editing and relevant content. Good stuff!
Every video keeps getting better and better
You are hysterical!! Please continue these videos
Beard looking swole
These mini-docs of late are absolutely fantastic. I crave the next one as soon as one ends.
I like how real you both are!
Loved it! And I’m one of the new subscribers lured in by the sugar video. Lol
Pro tip ware band-aids on your nipples so they don’t get raw. My cadet core teacher said they use this in the army sometimes when they go running for long periods of time
I loved this and I love the range of perspectives!!
Dancing not only got me in shape, it helped me a ton to get over my depression, Music, movement and focus, its a dream combo. And now I can dance too, alway fun showing off at parties. When I started, I kept giving up, but I kept trying to push myself nonetheless, training at first was painful and exhausting, but one day the juices got flowing and I was smiling like a mad man, since that day I have been dancing for 5 years now, non-stop, whenever I have some spare time. atm im busy trying to tie my dance together with my artistic side and create a few video's. Its a long term project that I only plan to finish sometime next year in april or june. But yea, move you body and your mind will move with it at some point, just don't give up. It took my two years of trying and giving up before I could overcome my lack of willpower and just hang in there until it got fun.
These new videos are great! Really liking the new format.
Also I miss 100 Days. Really liked that series. They should get you and Chyna to do a sequel to it
"I am not more likely, no" Same.
I really really like this video, and this long form style in general. It is funny and interesting, but the production value is really quality-- it's clear you took time to craft this video and make it into something good, something funny, something worth watching. I see all these videos about similar topics such as this (or even more often such as the added sugar video) but rarely do I feel satisfied from watching. This is a simple topic in some regards, but it feels genuine, entertaining, and thought through. The time you took to interview different people, with similar and pleasing shots, the various shots of people excercising with the variation of voiceover vs direct interview, and the centeredness of it you create with your own input and talking head-- it feels succinct, it feels crafted, and it feels very honest and funny and smart and real at the same time. You made something that was fulfilling not just in its content but also in its technique. I hope you continue to explore this form, as it seems you are doing, and I look forward to seeing more of your stuff, whatever you come up with. Thanks for sharing.
I checked the views after you mentioned your channel exploded a little bit after the no sugar month. So glad you're finally getting some more recognition. All your videos are amazing and you definitely deserve it considering how long you've been doing what you love.
haha, when the ice cubes bounce off the face, damn its the simple things that get me
Youre really smart and funny. Bless You!
ahhhh you got so many new subscribers and views!!! I'm so happy for you, Craig!!
As a guitarist of 15 years, I 100% agree that on days that I'm active, my genuine creative output is much more in tune. My timing, notation, and dynamic are greatly improved. It's like I can understand my improvisation more coherently relative to all other musical ideas, where things fit and where things don't (even though it's not that black and white). It's as if it mirrors the body physically working together to achieve a goal, much like a group of musicians with different rolls that work toward the same collective idea. Basically if your stagnant so is your creativity
Hey : ) Yes, your video about quitting sugar really blewed up because that's how I found you : ) I love your videos, they're too funny. Also, thanks to the video about sugar I have also quitted for one month and it was amazing. Today I treated myself with a piece of chocolate and a biscuit after 30 days without sugar and it was unexpectedly awful so I think sugar is not for me anymore. So thank you, you have changed my life : )
That beard is on POINT
It's not super often I find a video which makes me genuinely laugh out loud at numerous points throughout, but this one does it. The fact it's informative too is just an added bonus
4:44 Watching someone eat while they watch someone watch someone play games. You are watching this comment about me watching someone watching someone watching someone play games while they're eating.
Do I get extra points if I do this while eating?
hahaha!

Love the positive posts and this is one of my favorite videos you've done in a while. Thank you
Great video Wheezy 👍🏼. I've been in an exercise rut (read: no exercise at all) for several weeks and this has inspired me to figure out how to get back into something.
Wheezy your beard is hugeeeee
"hermetic, misanthropic buttface" omg best line ever
This was put together and edited so well
These long-form style videos are great! Thanks for making them.
Nietzsche quotes kill me! 🤣😂😆🤗
I do like this, I release endorphins when I exercise then I eat the donut for extra endorphins, litterary win-win
Pepe's bodega same
I don't release endorphins. Exercise makes me mad as hell. Kinda like being hangry. I want to bite people's heads off. Doesn't matter how fit I get, I hate, hate, hate it.
@@starlingukHealthy food and sleep might be missing...
I just LOVE your videos! so well edited and honest. well done!
I really enjoyed this video. I love working out. I enjoy how it makes me feel after I'm done and I love accomplishing goals and improving myself. I enjoy running, strength training, yoga, Pilates, cardio, and hiit. I want to keep improving myself. I even enjoy how I feel during my workout. I appreciate the good and the bad parts. I appreciate what my body is capable of accomplishing.
We need a shirt that says "these endorphins feel great!!!" so I can wear it while I lift.
Thank you for this!!!!!!!!!!!!
This video has shed a bit of light on a dull day thanks !
this video was perfectly timed for me, i'm a teacher and over the summer i was working out a ton and felt GRREAT. but once school started i fell out of the habit because i was just so dang busy. I wanna jump back into it, i think this was just the (logical) kick in the booty i needed. thanks Wheezy!
Congratulations on the lakemancing!
Such a fair question though.
Great Video Craig! Thank you.
Very relevant to me as I am in my 30's and am fitter now than ever before and excercise has become a part of my daily life.
I do freelteics (bodyweight workouts) and running and love both.
With the freeletics it's absolutely the comradery, the feeling of acoumplishment and the competitive aspects, and with running it's the Time for yourself (well, you and your Audiobook or podcast) and the exploring aspect.
There is no better way to see a new place than a run or long walk.
Anyway, great excercise, and I have to thank you, again as the 7 minute workout was the reason I started excercising again which led to all the other glorious parts of excercise.
A few more points: 1. nothing is impossible regarding your fitness level.
2. Start with something like 7 minute, it's time based so if it takes you 30 seconds to do 1 pushup, then so be it, but it will get better.
3. Being able to use your body how it is intended is such a joy and worth the effort alone.
4. Fresh air and excercise clear the mind which is especially important for office workers.
That's all unless I think of more :)
having watched since your name made sense, I love that your channel is getting the recognition it deserves
Only just realised there were two different guys with glasses in that video
