I was beyond excited aaah;; Aki actually surprised me with the model commission on my birthday last year before I was even fully aware of the concert project, and at the time I never would have guessed that was the plan she'd had for those models until she announced it a little while later ;_;

is it hard to make a UTAU voice bank? You've totally inspired me to try.
Aaaah go for it! The level of difficulty really depends on what language and which recording style you decide to use, and there are parts of it that can get a bit tedious (example: configuring the oto.ini file) but the end result is so worth it. There are tutorials for everything here on RUclips, on the wiki, and on UtaForum!
+UTAUxyz Is the recording-quality important? Or is it enough when I hear my voice like I hear it in "reality" ?
+Kuchen Torte321 Recording quality can definitely make a real difference between voicebanks! If your recordings have noise in the background or are muffled, that'll cause distortions in the UTAU software when it tries to play them back. I've made a little recording setup in my closet with a foam-lined bin that I put my microphone inside, to muffle echo and outside noises. The mic quality can make a difference, too. If you want to get an idea, compare Aiko's Act1 through Act3 voicebanks to this one; they're on my channel still just really far back in the video list. I recorded 1 through 3 on a webcam mic in my bedroom, then for 4 and above switched to more professional mics and a better recording area. The older banks area lot more muffled and not as sharp as her newer ones.
UTAUxyz Ok, then I'll have to ask my friend for his mic. Because my headset is broken and my old one has a terrible mic (It's enough for skype but not more). I already began to record the voicebank :)

How do I make an UTAU voicebank that's compatible for both UTAU and UTAU-Synth on Windows? I am so confused and I can't find any tutorials ANYWHERE! Please help me!
If you make your VB on PC UTAU, it'll automatically be compatible with Mac. If you make your VB on Mac, you have to convert the oto_ini.txt into an oto.ini file. Which are you trying to do?

what's the difference of cvvc and vccv? I recorded a vccv eng bank but I dont know if it would work with cvvc ust.
VCCV is CVVC but with some additional types of VC and CC samples. You'll definitely have to edit the UST file to get it to properly work with VCCV, but actually Cz is currently doing that and we'll be releasing the VCCV UST when it's done!
oh yeah, I saw that a few minutes ago in soundcloud. I guess I'll have to wait for the ust, even then i still need to get my bank oto'd... so guess I should work on that till the ust is ready.

Yeah, I've been familiar with Vocaloid for a long time but this one never caught my attention till now... I've actually just started fooling around with Vocaloid 5, already started on an orchestral remake of "The Best Thing" by Perfume -- programming those vocals looks like it's going to be more complex than the entire rest of the song, lol.
@@HyperNova137 Oh Perfume covers yesss! Apologies for my assumption, I'm way too used to people going "so much autotune wtf is this" on my pop music covers and not knowing that it's entirely a synth LOL
I haven't tried V5 myself but I've heard it can be a struggle to tune vocals in compared to the older versions at times, so good luck!
@@StudioVOXYZ It's understandable, even as a person who's a bit familiar with some of this stuff I've only come across mention of UTAU a few times, and there often wasn't even enough context in the conversation for me to figure out what the heck they were talking about... But just recently, I finally put 2 and 2 together and decided to hear what it actually sounded like, lol.
@@HyperNova137 Ooh well if you're just getting into UTAU, there's a ton of variety of voicebanks out there so I hope you don't take Aiko as the only example! Especially since there's even different rendering engines and stuff too that process vocals differently. hmu if you decide to record one yourself one day 👀👍
