  • Learn how to use our new resource hub aimed at helping fishing communities adapt to climate change in this webinar.
Climate change is increasingly impacting fisheries along the Northeast US coastline. To help fishing communities plan for these impacts, we’ve created a new Climate Adaptation Resource Hub for Fishing Communities.
Framed around ‘Understanding’ impacts, ‘Planning’ and ‘Managing’ adaptation, this web-hub provides community-specific information and projections on climate-driven shifts in distribution and availability of marine species alongside helpful information for individuals, businesses, and communities to adapt their fisheries in the face of climate change impacts.
Importantly, the web-hub also expedites access to additional guidance and resources useful for building community-scale climate resilience in Northeast US fisheries. This webinar will provide an overview of the web-hub, a deeper dive into some of the science presented on the site, information on how and who can use it, alongside time for Q&A and discussion.
