Hello Jocelyn, Dan at Hamburg Antiques Center Hamburg, Pa. inviting you and any local viewers to our 8th anniversary sale this Friday Saturday and Sunday, 20 percent off all merchandise as well as already reduced items. Hope we get to see you.
17:13 Hummingbird feeder? The keychain top means it was meant to hang somewhere with something landing on it, and the red-painted well has "hummingbirds " written all over it.
Saw a great tip on another channel: take a blanket into the store with you. Lay it in the cart and as you have filled a layer, fold the blanket over and put your next layer on. Protects the glass from breaking or chipping when putting stuff in.
Jocelyn , you know that old paper weight you picked up and put back down , i use those to put old pictures in .and i also use them for my grandkid pictures. Wonderful use.
In the 1980’s we tried to collect Frankoma and it was SO expensive, especially the blue. I would easily pay $10 for a mug. If I saw that piece in a Goodwill, I would have fainted. It shows you how much the internet changed accessibility and affordability.
All the glass pumkins you ever cared to see are sitting at the Home goods and disappear after a few weeks to reappear every fall. They Look EXACTLY like that one, from various designers and all colors. Just bought a black one.
What's the thrifting etiquette? I had a lady that kept reaching right in front of me to grab stuff off the shelf today. I would never do that. I always wait until the person walks away a bit before I take something that I spied that they were standing in front of. Consensus?
The Nancy Bodmer piece I think was like yarn and needles it looks like a bowl for knitting or crochet where you put your ball of yarn and feed the end through the hole to keep it from tangling or rolling away
I know you can't do everything LOL but at 12:15 there's a pair of 3 wick Pecksniff's candles - those are a UK brand and are worth about $40-50 a piece according to a quick google.
Good call on that framed Japanese print. I thought it might've been a quote from a famous Japanese poet, Daisuke... You said you didn't know what it said. Ha haha ha 😂😂😂 it says something about the bookstore has plum blossoms and couldn't translate the rest
That music at Middletown was loud! I hate when they have the music so loud when you’re trying to shop. We leave if the music is too loud. Sensory overload.
00:33 Not dead certain, but I *THINK* that might be a Pinco Y-type telephone insulator. 02:26 Agreed. It's defo a Blue Blob. Nancy Bodmer is located in Frederick. 16:36 Looks like "algodón," or cotton balls. 18:45 The Frankoma chafing pitcher is effin' GORGEOUS, and I would TOTALLY take it off yer hands if I were there, but as you say shipping would be a nightmare and not enough margin. 21:27 No thank you MA'AM!
But aren't you glad that the Crazy Lamp Lady perseveres and publishes a new Goodwill video almost every day so you have a forum to complain? It's a win for you!
What is really so awful is that Good Will will mark something outrageously high then you go to their bins store and find it with that same sticker never selling and most of it is thrown around and gets broken-this stuff is donated come on-do better!
Hi Jocelyn, Our Goodwill here in Everett Washington are pricing goods after using Google app . One of the pricers explained like this. They use the app to price the goods, AND she adds the shipping on top of that, then she's pricing at about 60 -75 percent of the total. I can buy cheaper at somewhere like Costco or Target. I pointed that out bit she got furious and stomped away very profitable of her. Also, your Goodwills are PACKED. Ours are very sparce . So between the price gouging and lack of merchandise, it's tough. Oh, also, the 2 prices are resellers 😅 Thank you for the advice i love your channel, and I have been listening for about 3 or 4 years.
Do your goodwills have the valued customer discount? It’s a point system. You earn points off a $ each time you buy. You could be saving money buying from goodwill if you have that program there. I’m in Michigan and it’s kinda like earning coupons.
Ahh I cannot explain how much I LOVE Talavera pottery! Whenever I buy it for resale I tend to hang onto it for a few months because I love to look at it. I have started a little pile of it on a wheeled cart to list at some point(maybe never, lol) ^_^
The middleton gw, use yo be a hidden treasure chest. Lately, I haven't found as much there. I have had better luck in the hagerstown gw than the Frederick ones.
I was just laughing to myself...wondering if you ever just start talking to yourself without filming. I should get a small camera so that when I am talking to myself no one will notice! 😂
She sets it so that some people can’t make comments. Anyone can view it. Maybe describe exactly what’s happening and someone might can help you troubleshoot.

@@caseysheaffer3693 One and a half day drive! 😔

That’s what I thought too.😊

She has been doing this for many years and MANY people have suggested this to her- but she never breaks anything 🤷🏼♀️
I'm pretty stoked too! That you found that paperweight. Love Gibson Glass.
Nancy Bodmer is local to Frederick and had a pottery shop in Buckeystown Md.
Jocelyn , you know that old paper weight you picked up and put back down , i use those to put old pictures in .and i also use them for my grandkid pictures. Wonderful use.
I think that was a magnifier rather than a paper weight. It's like the one my grandmother used.
When I was a teenager I used to collect tins from German flea markets. Spent hours by the river hunting pewter things too.😊
The cup at end, atomic, I have this set, it's a set from my Great grandmother...so love it.
In the 1980’s we tried to collect Frankoma and it was SO expensive, especially the blue. I would easily pay $10 for a mug. If I saw that piece in a Goodwill, I would have fainted. It shows you how much the internet changed accessibility and affordability.
At 11:25 I thought of Andrew when I saw the box like item on the shelf with the words, “Feliz Naughty Dog.” 😆
You could cut a hole in the critter with the eyeballs and add a string and make it a pull toy for Laurel!
All the glass pumkins you ever cared to see are sitting at the Home goods and disappear after a few weeks to reappear every fall. They Look EXACTLY like that one, from various designers and all colors. Just bought a black one.
I think the Bunnykins set was worth it. Happy thrifting!
Happy Birthday Sweet Lady ❤
Hope you had a wonderful birthday Jos 🎂🥳🎁

Hi Jocelyn! Those blue glasses with the gold swirl have been a long time favorite of my family. They are Mikasa Color Swirl Double Old Fashion
The thing in the baggie you thought was glue, was a bingo ink dauber marker. We use them as "paint", haha. They make fun art.
The Goodwills in your area have the best items! Our are small with very little of anything.
I walked into that goodwill last week and the. Walked right back out. They have become crazy. Them and Middletown!
More for the Crazy Lamp Lady!
Happy Birthday 🎉 thanks for your time and video
The orange glass bowl said blown by mouth ( french)
Really liked that bowl , so pretty
@@janrossetti3571...yes it was
Heritage village are Dept 56. Sometimes have value
Yes! For me it is the little people and animals for a Village or train scenes.
I can’t believe that Santa 50. that’s crazy
I own one… absolutely 100% hummingbird feeder.
Wow, the prices!! Stupid high! We have found the private thrift stores are much better pricing their inventory.
I know you can't do everything LOL but at 12:15 there's a pair of 3 wick Pecksniff's candles - those are a UK brand and are worth about $40-50 a piece according to a quick google.
Fun trip! Goodwill continues to be overpriced! It's too bad and yes, things wind up at their bins, and get damaged😢
Is that a business model?🙄
Yes, Goodwill and Savers are both getting out of hand!
Our Goodwill started yesterday putting out fall, which I'm glad putting it out in August it's just too early.😊
Happy happy birthday Jocelyn, hope you had a blessed day.
At 20:12 the drinking glasses with the blue flowers for $3.49 are from Dollar Tree $1.25🙄
Come on Goodwill !!!😡

Blue floral glasses are from dollar tree😊
Good will has gotten ridiculous with their prices.
But aren't you glad that the Crazy Lamp Lady perseveres and publishes a new Goodwill video almost every day so you have a forum to complain? It's a win for you!
If you think these prices are high, come to Minnesota.
They've been ridiculously high for awhile now .seldom go into one any more .
If you think Minnesota prices are high come to NYC. You don’t know ridiculous until you pick up a dress at a thrift store and the tag says $150!!!
Happy Birthday 🎉 hope you had a wonderful time .
Think it's yarn and the hole is to feed the yarn through
I thought the same 😊
Same. I came to the comments to see if anyone else thought of it
Thank you!😊

Great video. Loved the glasses you found and the tree. 😊
Hi Jocelyn
Love your videos! Yes, that beautiful plate is Greek and how I wish I could find Fiesta up here in Canada! ❤
The flocking was going flocking everywhere! Ha ha!
I find 99 cent items for bingo prizes we have bingo to make money for Thanksgiving baskets for needy

HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈
Happy birthday🎂
The blue floral cups those are actually from Dollar tree
I thought they were -and- GW wanted $3.49, ???? Idk if I heard her correctly. Unbelievable
Happy Birthday 🎂🎈!
So funny that those glasses with the blue florals were $3.49 each, they are dollar tree glasses.
I said that out loud…Those are Dollar Tree glasses Jocelyn! lol. Can’t believe they were charging that much!
Happiest of birthdays!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
FYI, The blue floral water glasses are from Dollar Tree, I have the stemless wine glass 😊
❤️the Frankoma!😍
The middleton gw, use yo be a hidden treasure chest. Lately, I haven't found as much there. I have had better luck in the hagerstown gw than the Frederick ones.
I do really well with vintage tins, they have to have cute animals or kids.
Thanks
I think the key chain thing is a hummingbird feeder? Totally a guess.
The key Chain thing is an ornament
Bless you!
Yes a Hummer feeder.
Is that weird thing a hummingbird feeder possibly?
8:57 It looks like a picture of a yarn ball. The yarn goes through the holes to decrease tangling.
The vase looking thing with holes at top kinda looks like for yar🤷♀️
I was just laughing to myself...wondering if you ever just start talking to yourself without filming. I should get a small camera so that when I am talking to myself no one will notice! 😂
That's a humming bird feeder.
It's a hummingbird feeder
I don't believe that was a paperweight. Looks just like the magnifier my grandmother used; I still have it.
Happy birthday 🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂
Baggies 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Love your videos
I think the clear glass might have been a magnifying glass ??
16:51 too bad they were broken 17:10 is it just a window ornament?
Hello Jocelyn ❤❤😊😊
I was given a pewter clock when I left my job in Germany
Exactly, und pewter is called zinn.
@@paulaspeier3493 I didn't know that. It was cheap in the 70s but then by the late 80s I couldn't afford it anymore.
@@paulaspeier3493related to zinc?
I cannot get on coffee chat. I have been a subscriber for 2-3 years.

What is the spelling Goofus, or Gufuss glass? Want to research
