Congratulations Steven!!! Glad the video was helpful. By NO means anything close to an expert but feel free to ping me if you have questions. (Two heads are better than one…). Also if your not already a member of Deans FB group, that is also an incredible resource.

Thank you! This was fantastic. We are early in the process, but have narrowed it down to Coachmen Beyond. Just trying to learn all we can. :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this excellent video!!
We had a woefully and extremely inadequate walkthrough of all the equipment at General RV Wixom Michigan when we picked up our brand new Coachmen 22d at the end of April, 2022.
We took videos of each step they showed us, but there were SO many things they didn’t show us, so it has been VERY upsetting trying to figure out things on our own.
And to top everything off, the day we bought it someone at the dealership broke off an outside cover (they repaired it and it looked awful)
AND most importantly our Main Control panel is “bad” (we discovered this on day 1 when we got home and needed to use the tank heaters because in Michigan we had three 28 degree nights in a row!) and the panel doesn’t show the tank levels accurately and sometimes the panel works and sometimes it doesn’t.
Believe it or not we are still waiting to get a new Main Panel, so we can’t use the van and be confident that it’s going to work! It is now July 5, 2022!! Haven’t heard from the dealership at all since they ordered us a new panel. It’s like we don’t exist! They are terrible!!
Does anyone have any suggestions for us to receive help with that main panel?

Susan a couple thoughts. You may want to call Paul at Coachmen re the panel. Work with him directly. He handles parts and warranty issues for class B customers. If you don’t have his number send me a pm at rerizzo@mac.com But are you sure you have a bad panel? The tank sensors themselves are not very good and often have to be replaced. We had ours swapped out and they are still very unreliable. We can eyeball our fresh tank and can shine a light down the toilet to see in the black tank. Not pleasant but it gives us an idea re their levels.

Hi, new subscriber here; great tour of your Beyond, very informative. Picking up my 22D Beyond in a week or two. I have 2 questions. On time stamp 5:48 you stated there are 300 amps of lithium batteries. My understanding, from watching Nick Schmidt’s videos, is there are 600 amps and that has been upgraded to 630 amps. Can you comment? At time stamp 7:30, can you verify how many solar panels you have and the wattage value? Thanks.

Thx. Nick is correct- I must have misspoke or misunderstood. It does have a single, upgraded panel vs some of the earlier ones that had two. Batteries last long and charge quickly. 👍

Pick mine up in a month hopefully. Just wondering if there was a price increase when you picked yours up?

We had ours delivered from Sunshine, no orientation! Guy that brought it was a driver, knew only a couple things. We have a Coachmen 2022 D Beyond Li3 on a 2021 transit. Everything we've learned is from videos and online manuals, your videos help tremendously. I still need to know where the fresh water tank is located, and where the drain valve is for it? No one seems to know. Strange I can't pull it up anywhere on line. Ours has to be internal somewhere, it's not under chassis in front of spare tire! Anybody know?

I have a 2022 D Li3 and this walk thru was great but can you summarize when you turn off the inverter and when you put it on! It seems confusing if it automatically by passes when hooked up to shore power?

When hooked up to shore power the inverter is not necessary. It automatically switches to “pass thru”. When not hooked up to shore power I keep the inverter off unless I need to use the microwave or any electrical outlet. The Truma gives you multiple options for air heat or hot water.
