I love your channel! I’m retired now and slowly getting back into model railroading. As a child of the 50’s and 60’s, I was given my Uncle’s WW2 Marx O gauge army train. I set it up every Christmas around the Christmas tree. I’m glad to see you are following your love of trains and want to expand and do repairs fir others! 👍
That is a neat operating model of a speeder SMT! You could use miniscule amounts of paint on the end of tooth picks & sewing pins to paint eyes & eye brows on the figures. You could also paint the figures with a flat, clear paint, suck as Testor's Dull Coat, to reduce the glossy look. I think one of the papers is a postcard for warranty registration; Tyco & AHM used to include those with their sets. Model Power & AHM used to make plastic kits for speeder sheds, & craftsman kits for speeder sheds are also available. Lionel started making O scale handcars & the " Gang Car " speeder in the late 1950s; K-Line made an O scale speeder with trailers a few years ago.
I remember these as it was yesterday, use there motor car on special project, tie renew , curve renew, back 90 sum use mix gas with oil sum had electric start an crake start like old model t , , track inspector use them , an sections enjoy smt
Please note the guy who's enjoying his job. Glasses, no hat, legs crossed, and admiring the scenery. The crane car "bars" in question: black bars are lifting and push bars when cart is separate from motor car... scissor-type pivoting pieces are the rail clamp and rail lift pinning tools for when the crane is stationary in lifting heavy objects-ties and rails, and other carts. That’s a really nice find. I didn’t know that Bachmann made that. You found it I think at a decent price. I need to look for one of those for myself now. Great video and love your channel!
SMT Mainline the west Chester railroad has a real set of these speeders, but they don't use them anymore. The main speeder is laying on its side in disrepair while the rest is not used. Ive ridden it's in a speeder and their fun. Nice vid harrison.
Thanks for the review, I too really like the speeder set. Cause of your review it's probably going to be my next purchase. NOT BAD Harrison... Wilmer IHVRR
better price than my lhs! they are asking 88$ canadian..I was wondering if I should buy not knowing if it was any good. but at that price I think not!! thanks for the nice review
Very cool speeder set Harrison. I think Bachmann may be rubbing off on you. 🤔 🙄 You mentioned how small the motor must be for the speeder, well compare it to your Bachmann gandy dancer. If not the same, then the gandy dancer must be smaller. Nice close-ups of the Speeder team riding the rails to their next jobsite. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Very awesome Harrison how much did the speeders cost because there is one speeder that’s still being used on the Reading and Northern I am going to put a video up about all kinds of track equipment and they all ran as a group with the pick up trucks involved I hope you have an awesome day Harrison and I wonder if you want to live stream with me like we did before but this time with Google hangouts and I think you do amazing stuff with your videos and fixing your locomotives Harrison
I believe they're between $1000-$5000 depending on the condition, I could be wrong though - wouldn't consider my self an expert. I'd be more then happy to do another live stream with you although we can't use google hangouts anymore since they discontinued it...
Hi smt mainline my name is Wyatt’s trains and I’m telling you that I have a gp 9 high hood from Bachman trains and there is no problem with the gp 9 high hood locomotive

Ngl that little thingie looks pretty cute running around on your layout, we should see more of that on the livestreams!

Surprisingly good slow performance for such a small piece.

Yay! A video from another Canadian train fan on my 15th b-day!

Awesome video! The little bars on the side of the crane look like stabilizers for when the crane car is lifting stuff. That would be my guess.
That's a really cool and nice speeder set, I want one for n scale now haha
Really cool, I just picked up an O Scale Trackmobile.

Wow that runs really smooth I’m gonna try to hunt for one of those sets at a train show coming up in September
Very cool! That runs surprisingly smooth
If you want to watch, I got the entire Norfolk southern maintenance train going by. And its filled with speeders.
This speeder brought to you by Spectrum the "MASTER" railroader series from... BACHMANN!!!
That’s Awesome! Great Model!
Thanks for the review, I too really like the speeder set. Cause of your review it's probably going to be my next purchase. NOT BAD Harrison... Wilmer IHVRR
Funny. I was just wondering if there was an HO scale powered speeder and this video popped up. Neat!
Very cool , very different.

NO WAY, THAT'S SUPER COOL
Great addition! Do you plan to do any painting on it? Like the wood? Or maybe other details that are yellow?
Very cool
Nice speeder SMT I have a Bachmann Union Pacific engine it's road number is 824
I just subscribed, love your vids keep it up
We have something similar in the UK called a wickham trolley Bachmann Europe make one they are amazing models
I saw that once before and thought about buying it
Very interesting set
Awesome buy!
Officially on my "want it" list. Ive seen them use quarter ties as supports under railroad jacks
Great video

I have to find this little work set again. I had this maintenance of way set some time ago, and somehow I've lost all the pieces to it over time.
I was thinking of buying One
awesome smt mainline :)

would Face Time work Including OBS to Live Stream?
Awesome
Looks cool
I’m building my own layout what do you suggest I use
Is this DCC because its Bachmann spectrum?
That would be cool on my layout, if I can get a dcc decoder small enough to fit in it
I'm not sure if you can although I'm sure someone's done it.
OMG IT'S SO CUTE
Smt, just sayin’ you spelt spectrum wrong in the title.
Anyways, great train set and great video, just like always!
Nice catch (it's fixed) I sorta just published the video without checking to see if I made any mistakes...
No problem.
I have a rail Barron n scale 2.10.2 and it’s box has the same catchphrase
The bars are called out riggers they stabilize the car so it dose not drail it self
All it needs is the Canadian flag and a lawn chair. Where did you get it? I had to watch this with no sound. Not sure if you mentioned it or not.
I got it at hobby house, pretty good buy for $60 bucks in my opinion.
Hi smt mainline my name is Wyatt’s trains and I’m telling you that I have a gp 9 high hood from Bachman trains and there is no problem with the gp 9 high hood locomotive
Do you run any Union Pacific?
I sure do!
That’s good!
Finally he can fix that werd track plan
Yep! And while I'm at it you can fix your spelling.
Does it bother you hearing the sound of your own voice?
I haven't decided, is this a problem you have?
@@SMTMainline yeah I hate hearing my own voice.
Q&A #1: Could you buy me a baseball?
If only there is a way to put a dcc decoder in it lol 😂
At least now this will give you a little bit more creativity to your layout
Me likes !
