- Today I Tier Ranked all of the KotLC Characters! I split up the Keeper of the Lost Cities Characters into a TIER LIST! There are different tiers via the Tier Maker platform, such as LITERAL GODS, Beneficial, Decent, Not Helpful, and ERASE! It was super fun sorting the kotlc characters into these categories like Sophie Foster, Keefe Sencen, and Fitz Vacker! I always knew it was Lady Gisela because I read Everblaze right after I finished Exile and caught on to the fact that Sophie pointed out Gisela’s cut shoulder and was like: OMG Keefe did that and doesn’t know!

i agree with most of this so much! Your opinion on fitz is exactly what I’ve been telling people, he isn’t a bad character he just needs to work on himself and he’s had so much influence from Alden and alvar. and alden! ugh, I hate that man so much, he’s an awful father (but not as bad as Cassius).
personally i would put marella in literal gods because she is my favourite character, though I can totally understand why people don’t like her as much as other characters. i think Grady is actually worse than edaline because he so obviously dislikes keefe, and doesn’t even try to hide it from him. he refuses to call keefe by his name, especially in the earlier books, and he knows that keefe has a bad relationship with his father and he doesn’t think about how his actions could be making him feel. I’m just so tired of the “dad hates daughter’s guy friends/boyfriend” trope, it’s honestly just toxic masculinity and very unnecessary.

I honestly think Biana should be a LITERAL GOD. Keefe is nice and deserves it but Sophie has an attitude but she’s the main character so yeah. But Biana barely in the book, and I think if she was in it more, she would be a LITERAL GOD. Also Fitz isn’t that bad come on he had a huge part in Sophie’s character development

I honestly thought you were going to put alden in literal god because you hovered over it you probably tricked everyone
so I have a theory. Plz no hate just a theory.
So I know that the majority of ya'll are Sokeefe shippers but just hear me out please. So we don't know much about Oralie's family and background, but I've noticed some things in the books. Oralie and Cassius both have blonde hair and light blue eyes, and they are both empaths. So I think that they are siblings. NOW the reason for why Cassius is such a jerk is because in the councillor election that Oralie was elected in was also the one that Cassius was running in as well. When he lost he wanted to make sure he was remembered forever. So he became part of the nobility and married Gisela. When Keefe was born, he was so happy because he could finally had someone that could be as great as himself and become greater than his sister. When he discovered that Keefe was not going to do that, however he got really cold and jerky. Which now brings me to the conclusion of this theory. Let me know what you think!!!!!!

I have a question, when you first started reading the books how did you know how to pronounce their names, I don’t have Instagram like some other people do, or any social media platform for that matter but everyone I know pronounces them differently than I do
Thats a good question! I just went with my instinct and the truth is, it doesn't matter how you pronounce the names. Shannon has stated that there is no right or wrong way to say them, its all up to interpretation :)
My friends say keefe like Kee-fee ABD I saw kee-fa

The Unlocked book has a pronunciation guide if you want to be “correct” but there’s really no wrong way
I made one of these myself. The literal gods were Linh, Marella, Sophie, Elwin, Keefe, Biana, and (sorry) Dex.

They would not have made a lot of progress if it weren’t for Dex, they NEED a technopath , and Dex is the best one! They would never have made it to the BlackSwan without him. I agree with the rest, tho I do think the people in beneficial deserve more page time. I also like how Sophie and Keefe are next to each other 😏
I would put Alvar in Decent, I kinda got attached to him, because I see me in him a lot. (Not the crime part! Just the being the oldest and drowning in unrealistic expectations.) I liked him ever since I first started reading the series. Yes, it’s true we see him rarely and how he is about to die; but he can be his own villain! Or search for redemption :)
It was never confirmed that he is dead so you never know!
Excuse me, but without Dex, they would be no where. Sophie would be dead without his ring/punch thing bc of Brant, and he has made numerous gadgets, that have affected the team and made them even more powerful. Without Dex everybody would be dead
How can you place Dex in not helpful? What would the people have done without the Twiggler? How would they have broken into the registry, or accessed any of the files? Without Dex, how would they have found the location of the neverseen hideouts? In Flashback, in the beginning, if Sophie didn't have her panic switch, who would have shown up to help her? I disagree with your opinion on this.

Keefe can go to the back of God, hes done some pretty risky things that hasn't had any benefit and he doesn't make the best choices.
I agree, but we can also attribute that to his childhood trauma. He's been pulled apart by his parents and the abuse he has had to experience and that has resulted in those poor decisions, he was always forced to impress his parents and I think that applies to his risky decisions that he think will benefit the group

Yes, he deserves better parents, but I think he would go in the not helpful because he just isnt helping by running away, because now Sophie is gonna waste time looking for him and lose time trying to bring down the Neverseen. He accomplished nothing when he "joined" the Neverseen. Again this is my opinion. No hate against this character.
