Not sure if you’ll ever read this but your work is awesome man. Your story lines have always been great and just keep getting better every time you make a new chapter. Gonna have to start an entirely different arc because SSJ5 is just too OP. Maybe some type of arc with the demon realm killing off the Angels, then SSJ5 Ultra Instinct / Ultra Ego Vegito getting trained by the Grand Priest himself. It has to be an Angel level threat, because nothing lower would be a challenge to SSJ5. After that arc, it's pretty much the end of Dragonball. I can't really see anywhere else to go from an SSJ5 UI/UE Vegito that's above all Angels and Demons.
I like the conclusion i think the dragonfist was a good move but i would like to see a ep that divulged into goku and jiren actually pushing eachother to the very limits after this. Thats one thing i have always wanted after the tournament of power was a full on rematch no holds bared.

Fun fact: In the last video people in the comment section are saying SSJ4 + MUI = SSJ5. As much as I would love for this to be the case it’s not possible because Jiren and the others are clearly able to sense Goku’s upgrade in power ki, MUI isn’t readable by normal ki standards. It’s an extension of divinity power. Goku absorbing his Genki Dama as a SSJ4 is what unlocked SSJ5, in the fan manga of Dragon Ball AF Goku is in the Dragon Realm with Pikon along with all the evil shenrons training Goku vigorously for him to attain SSJ5, which he eventually does.

The simplest of things really mattered in this arch. The rule of no flying unless you had wings did not hold these OP fighters back. The Gods made it so that most of these fighters could not fly, but fighters such as the Saiyan's, Jiren, Topo and etc still flew. That alone shows how little the handicap of no flying was easily ignored.

See I like the implication that last line has, because I felt the same way during the anime. "Wish back all the universes that were destroyed" is a little open ended, and I remember when Whis explained the multiverse to Goku that there were originally more universes than the ones that were participating in the tournament of power. Zeno had destroyed a few before hand ( 6 I think ) so what terrors in those lost universes could this wish have inadvertently brought back to existence? (Also a fan of the idea that the movies/GT took place in those lost universes, and with the Xenoverse/Hero games stories bridging a few gaps, it could create one continuous Dragon Ball Cannon )

I was 5 years old in 1986 and I've been watching ever since. I've also been watching fan-made anime for an eternity. I honestly think you have very little competition in this game. Man now I’m imagining ultra instinct combined with SSJ5 with god ki. I think it’s doable because from what I remember SSJ5 is you controlling your emotions perfectly which is possibly compatible with UI but I could be wrong about it
I don't know all that much about Super Saiyan 5, only that it was made by fans and that it got somehow believed as a real transformation to the point that it is present on some t-shirt merchs, I know that because I have one.

Great story Arj, very creative and well written, but I need to correct you on something, Jiren's universe is Universe 11, not 10! Also I loved the fact that you made the showdown between Super Saiyan 5 Goku and Jiren a more evenly matched fight, I had a feeling you would! I also knew that the Dragon Fist would be incorporated into the story in some way! Not complaining at all, it would have been boring to see Jiren get absolutely overwhelmed! Personally though, I think if Super Saiyan 5 is a combo of MUI and Super Saiyan 4 that it wouldn't be weaker than MUI! Look at it this way, I know this manga is canon to the anime version of events rather than the manga version. It's hinted at in the first part where Goku turns Super Saiyan 5 as a result of the Spirit Bomb, much like how he achieved UI Sign in the anime! Even the quote mentioned in this part by Goku about "a mortal stronger than a God of Destruction" comes from the anime! Nonetheless, I know the inspiration behind combining Ultra Instinct with another form comes from the manga! I also know that Super Saiyan God and Perfected Blue combined with Ultra Instinct against Granolah was diluted and weaker than Complete UI by itself. But there is one issue, Goku combining Super Saiyan 4 with MUI created a brand new form and unlike Super Saiyan God or Blue that are weaker states of divine power, Super Saiyan 4 (as far as I know) doesn't possess divine power! What does that mean? Well, in my eyes it should mean that assuming Super Saiyan 5 is a result of Super Saiyan 4 and Ultra Instinct, since he seemed to achieve the form the same way he achieved UI Sign in the anime, then Super Saiyan 5 should be far stronger than MUI (Complete UI in the manga). Now we know that after the events of the Battle of Gods arc Goku in his base is stronger than Super Saiyan God so Super Saiyan God is just a divinely powered up base! Then why did Goku revert to Super Saiyan against Beerus rather than base? Simple, because he started out as Super Saiyan at the beginning of the ritual and had he been a natural at using divine energy, the ritual may have unlocked Blue! But he wasn't and it didn't, so what's my point? My point is that if Goku tried combining UI with Super Saiyans 1 or 2 it would most likely lead back to the Blue form or perhaps an SSGSS2 or maybe Vegeta's SSGSS Evolved form, because that's what happens when combining Super Saiyan with divine power! Unfortunately, I don't think the same principle could apply to Super Saiyan 3 because it burns through energy too quickly! It's unclear as to whether or not the form is stable enough to be mastered, but assuming it could, I suspect combining it with divine energy might produce something like Vegeta's Ultra Ego! Don't take my word for it, this is just my feeling on it, there is quite a distance between Blue and Blue Evolution, so it would make sense if Ultra Ego was even further beyond! Sacrificing ability for power the further up the divine scale you go with purely transformations actually would make perfect sense! The point is that Super Saiyan 4 could be special in the sense that it could be successfully combined with Ultra Instinct and produce a new stronger form that overcomes both limitations, the absolute pinnacle of Saiyan power! The Super Saiyan 3 transformation always eluded Vegeta and it was such an intense transformation that Goku couldn't do it with constraints on his physical body, he could only achieve it in otherworld! It honestly wouldn't surprise me if Ultra Ego is the divine Super Saiyan 3 and that one day Vegeta turns around and just casually transforms into a Super Saiyan 3 with the phrase "this form is childs play to me now Kakarot!" Anyway, enough fan theories, I still enjoyed the fight between Jiren and Goku! Keep up the great work 😎

I love your content, especially the original what-ifs. But I have a pitch for a new one to attempt that I’ve been begging to see get done. From a storytelling point, a lot of people miss the true meaning of Jiren’s backstory. When I first saw his story, I liked it and his character. It’s a mirror of Goku’s story, basically emulating a reality where a prodigal martial artist with a heart of gold and a kind personality loses to immense odds but without Dragon Balls. It’s basically the King Piccolo saga of Goku lost his rematch. I want to see someone’s take on that what-if: What if Goku lost his rematch against King Piccolo but survived?

Great story Arj, very creative and well written, but I need to correct you on something, Jiren's universe is Universe 11, not 10! Also I loved the fact that you made the showdown between Super Saiyan 5 Goku and Jiren a more evenly matched fight, I had a feeling you would!
I also knew that the Dragon Fist would be incorporated into the story in some way! Not complaining at all, it would have been boring to see Jiren get absolutely overwhelmed! Personally though, I think if Super Saiyan 5 is a combo of MUI and Super Saiyan 4 that it wouldn't be weaker than MUI!
Look at it this way, I know this manga is canon to the anime version of events rather than the manga version. It's hinted at in the first part where Goku turns Super Saiyan 5 as a result of the Spirit Bomb, much like how he achieved UI Sign in the anime!
Even the quote mentioned in this part by Goku about "a mortal stronger than a God of Destruction" comes from the anime! Nonetheless, I know the inspiration behind combining Ultra Instinct with another form comes from the manga!
I also know that Super Saiyan God and Perfected Blue combined with Ultra Instinct against Granolah was diluted and weaker than Complete UI by itself. But there is one issue, Goku combining Super Saiyan 4 with MUI created a brand new form and unlike Super Saiyan God or Blue that are weaker states of divine power, Super Saiyan 4 (as far as I know) doesn't possess divine power!
What does that mean? Well, in my eyes it should mean that assuming Super Saiyan 5 is a result of Super Saiyan 4 and Ultra Instinct, since he seemed to achieve the form the same way he achieved UI Sign in the anime, then Super Saiyan 5 should be far stronger than MUI (Complete UI in the manga).
Now we know that after the events of the Battle of Gods arc Goku in his base is stronger than Super Saiyan God so Super Saiyan God is just a divinely powered up base! Then why did Goku revert to Super Saiyan against Beerus rather than base?
Simple, because he started out as Super Saiyan at the beginning of the ritual and had he been a natural at using divine energy, the ritual may have unlocked Blue! But he wasn't and it didn't, so what's my point?
My point is that if Goku tried combining UI with Super Saiyans 1 or 2 it would most likely lead back to the Blue form or perhaps an SSGSS2 or maybe Vegeta's SSGSS Evolved form, because that's what happens when combining Super Saiyan with divine power!
Unfortunately, I don't think the same principle could apply to Super Saiyan 3 because it burns through energy too quickly! It's unclear as to whether or not the form is stable enough to be mastered, but assuming it could, I suspect combining it with divine energy might produce something like Vegeta's Ultra Ego!
Don't take my word for it, this is just my feeling on it, there is quite a distance between Blue and Blue Evolution, so it would make sense if Ultra Ego was even further beyond! Sacrificing ability for power the further up the divine scale you go with purely transformations actually would make perfect sense!
The point is that Super Saiyan 4 could be special in the sense that it could be successfully combined with Ultra Instinct and produce a new stronger form that overcomes both limitations, the absolute pinnacle of Saiyan power!
The Super Saiyan 3 transformation always eluded Vegeta and it was such an intense transformation that Goku couldn't do it with constraints on his physical body, he could only achieve it in otherworld! It honestly wouldn't surprise me if Ultra Ego is the divine Super Saiyan 3 and that one day Vegeta turns around and just casually transforms into a Super Saiyan 3 with the phrase "this form is childs play to me now Kakarot!"
Anyway, enough fan theories, I still enjoyed the fight between Jiren and Goku! Keep up the great work 😎

No. Though what many seems to have forgotten. Ss4 has the feat that his body moves on its own which goes the same for mui. In terms of feats ss4 is better than mui

I love your content, especially the original what-ifs. But I have a pitch for a new one to attempt that I’ve been begging to see get done. From a storytelling point, a lot of people miss the true meaning of Jiren’s backstory. When I first saw his story, I liked it and his character. It’s a mirror of Goku’s story, basically emulating a reality where a prodigal martial artist with a heart of gold and a kind personality loses to immense odds but without Dragon Balls. It’s basically the King Piccolo saga of Goku lost his rematch. I want to see someone’s take on that what-if: What if Goku lost his rematch against King Piccolo but survived?
