Actually P42`s do have electronic bells, both amtrak, and Via rail. Amtrak`s P42 bells sound like a machanical bell, but it`s actually an electronic bell, they just made it sound like that. Try to look for a bell on the roof.

Interesting to note, CN 4727 is the only CN unit remaining still wearing that paint scheme.
