Actually P42`s do have electronic bells, both amtrak, and Via rail. Amtrak`s P42 bells sound like a machanical bell, but it`s actually an electronic bell, they just made it sound like that. Try to look for a bell on the roof.
Interesting to note, CN 4727 is the only CN unit remaining still wearing that paint scheme. Orange Cab, White Numbers, Black hood with the Large noodle logo.
