This is my reaction to NF therapy session. I didn't mean for it to be this long. I did try stopping it more often that I usually do to see if that had any impact on copyright etc. unfortunately it didn't. I have made chapters to try and make it a bit easier to navigate.
Loved the commentary on this video. It's probably one of Nate's most powerful songs. Got goosebumps in the 1st verse. How can you hate something that is helping people. 🖤🤍
As an NF who enjoys watching other people react to his music, I would argue that not enough reactors spend the amount of time so many of his deeper songs deserve and is required to truly understand his message and appreciate the risk he is taking when he shares the most difficult parts of his life hoping it will help others with their own struggles. In regards to the reason we see Nate sitting next to both kids who are struggling is because its important to him that his fans understand and believe they are not alone. He knows he can't be by their side physically but he can make music that is the next best thing and can be listened to whenever its needed
Thanks for the comment and not sure if you will get to read this reply but I have been thinking about what you said recently. I do wonder if my reactions are a bit superficial and rushed (due to the nature of a reaction) and whether I should spend more time reflecting and thinking about what NF is trying to get across and then presenting that in a video.
You hear him while he speaks because it’s the way you hear him. When someone who’s angry/sad/frustrated they hear and relate to the emotion that Nate puts out in his voice. Being someone who feels they aren’t being heard are glad that they aren’t the only that feel that way. Nate’s ability to connect to people who are hurting is amazing, he’s a real person and not one of these polished music industry phonys
I had a feeling that your reaction to this song would be good. And wow you did not disappoint! It's always nice to hear your interpretations of songs, and I have learned a lot from these videos!
Love the reaction! Having heard this song multiple times with music/hip-hop heads breaking down the lyrics, its great to hear it through a different perspective from someone in the mental health industry.
He mention the lines real music a lot because people keep questioning it, and hating on him and calling him fake and like you said he does care about what people say about him. Especially since he is one of the only rappers that actually talk about real stuff
Hi, I've just discovered your reactions and I really appreciate the insights you offer. As an NF fan I am appreciating the deep dives, and the respect you give him and those who most connect with his music through their own experiences. While I admittedly can't relate to the adversity NF has faced in his life, I do get benefit from his music on many levels. It is clear you understand his struggles through your training and professional experience and it is people like you that offer so many others the hope that they may have not seen prior. Keep up all the great work.
I really love how deeply you dived into this song, I learned a lot☺️. I've been looking for reactions like this, I was seriously left unsatisfied with how other reactors do their thing with his songs😅 so I gave up searching for awhile (or maybe I was not searching well enough haha). So happy I found your video! Keep it coming, please ^^
It doesn’t portray you as a sellout. You know as well as anyone I’m sure that mental illness can make folks blame others for stuff that isn’t their fault. Keep up the great work.
I used to go therapy when I was young but all they would do is shove pills down my throat and never try to get to bottom of the problem if I would have a therapist like you just there to talk and actually help I would have been able to get through all of my mental health already I hope u always continue your work to help as many people you can❤❤
6:20 Not holding the pain of others is very difficult, as Foster Parents hearing about all of the suffering those kids go through can be suffocating. Many nights my wife and I cried when the kids were asleep. Times we kept their pains long after they were no longer in our care.
For me personally, this song hit difference. As a person who diagnosed with c-ptsd, every line of this song is so related. I'm talking about child abuse, divorce, drugs, suicidal thoughts and so on. This is inspired me to write a songs about my experience 'cause I've been there before. Now I'm 31 and still feel the pain sometimes.
For an early track this is absolutely incredible. Honestly one of my favourites from Nate. I don't think he could top this song if he tried to write it again now
I just wanted to say that both NF, and you have been uplifting to my life. I like your reactions and I watch your other channel and I appreciate you. People are mean. And they’re even meaner when they’re not looking you in the face. But that’s just it right Mean, people have had mean things done to them. I try to teach this to my children so that they don’t swipe back soon. Someone says something derogatory towards them. I know you don’t know me. But I believe heavily therapy. Therapy has got me through A rough childhood similar to NFs. it’s got me through cancer. It’s got me through problems with my children. I honestly think everyone needs therapy to some extent. I know you don’t need it but I just wanted to say good job and I appreciate you.
Your reaction to this was great! Some other great songs I would love to see you break down are: My blood by Twenty One Pilots, Goner by Twenty One Pilots, Birds by Imagine Dragons, Before you go by Lewis Capaldi, Wrecked by imagine Dragons, Dream by Imagine dragons, Orlando by XXXTENTACION, How to save a life by The Fray, Not the same by Parker Jack, and Hi mom and Dad by Chyde. Your reactions are great especially compared to other reaction channels which don't truly delve into what the artist is actually feeling in the lyrics.
I've been watching/listening to your reactions and have truly appreciated them. His music has opened the door to conversations about mental health. Keep on the journey!!!
I happen to like the way you do reactions by stopping and talking. I get so much more. Plus it's just simple to pause you, watch the video, and go right back to your reaction. 💝💞🙏
Another excellent commentary & breakdown of NF's work, as usual! I believe the spoken-word part at the end of the song is an excerpt from an actual interview that Nate once did. I hope you will continue the NF journey, whether in full or just hitting the most recommended--either way, I'm here for it.
please keep up the journey and not skip to tracks most tracks also have info from older tracks and you wont get the hints and details if you have not seen the journey
Love the explanations, I need to reccomend Earl Sweatshirt's song "solace" one of the saddest songs i've ever listened to, its about his addiction, insomia, eating disorder, depression, and the death of his grandmother, hes an amazing artist and rapper.
One of the most realest songs i ever heard and one of the most powerful song is this guy named Colicchee Drug Addiction. I promise you wont regret it he talk obviously his battles with drug addiction and his struggles to stay sober.
People can be extremely harsh, I had a dear friend whose husband murdered her in front of her 2 kids. Online comments said that the husband weigh her body with concrete and drop her in the middle of a deep lake by where they lived. Her mom and dad were seeing those comments and were just devastated by the cruelty
I know that it takes more time, but when your time like with a deep song, it has more theraputic value. I aspire to go to Graduate school, for counseling and you are one of my mentors. I know that we will never meet, but you are helping other future therapists.
If you want another rabbit hole to go down, I'd highly recommend this set of songs by the band "Architects" C.A.N.C.E.R Gone With The Wind Memento Mori Death Is Not Defeat Doomsday Hereafter A Wasted Hymn Dying Is Absolutely Safe Everything up until Memento Mori was written by their guitarist who was suffering from skin cancer. Post Memento Mori, everything is written by their drummer who was his twin brother; coping with their loss of him.
The reason he says "I write what I've gone through" that is more for the people who says his music is violent, or all his music is moody and dark. He is speaking to them
Please listed to “juice wrld speaks 2 raw footage” it’s a real raw freestyle, you can see the pain in his eyes, the way his body reacts when speaking certain parts. And pay attention to the reaction of the people around him, his girlfriends reaction, they were more interested in the “song” he was singing rather than the “words” he was speaking, love the videos
That sounds interesting - thinking about the pain, the non verbal communication etc. I have largely dismissed freestyles before as I didnt really think I would have anything to talk about or add, but you have made me think about it now.
1st institute i was in was made in late 1700. And was better at driving you crazy then helping in any way. Last one. Was far away out west ish. Was called Aspin mental evaluation and aid but. I cryed getting there. Cuz i got a brand new pillow. The beds weren't fom on a metal slab. And the showers actualy had deviding walls for alittle privacy. The first ones shower. Was a 25meater by 25 meater concreat room with i think like 32 shower heads sunk into the cealing. And we went in like cattle and left not much cleaner. Lol. Idk if its still open. But. Here in the U.S we still have some hell hole asylums the mantality for mental health here is. With enough bandaids we can reatach limbs. Lol. Wich is why some people have a plethra of like 19 meds to take everymorning lol.
Please react to The Kid Laroi's music, he's a 19year old australian rapper/singer who was happily in a relationship with a girl for over 3 years, but she cheated on him with another guy and left him alone, as a escape he's doing music. I would recommend to you to listen to his newest album "The First Time", where he tells us the thoughts he had and the stories they made in 17 songs (and 3 interludes) in 1 very good album. I think other people would also like to see you reacts to it.
wow I find your channel incredible and the reactions are extraordinary, is it possible for you to react to the song Lara Fabien - I am sick, I think you will have a better opinion to describe this music.
Nah. I tried ages ago but it mutes all the songs with copyright. Same as TikTok, I managed to get one Ren video through then all the rest were muted due to copyright.
You just want to see my face during the whole video? You do realise there’s a version NF released without my face in it which you can watch. Plus there’s this thing called copyright where you just can’t play a whole video through?
Something I went through then with my grandparents (main caregivers) and is still going through now with my parents. I AM 26! It's just something you get used to and all that you will ever know. Friends tell me to take control because I'm an adult. It actually is not that simple. When you grew up with fear, especially from people who were supposed to care, protect, and nurture you, all you ever know is that you are under their control. Their house, their rules, etc. It's crazier because it's seen as a form of discipline even when there are obvious bruises and swollen belt marks( it's stopped since I was 18). Now, it's just continuous verbal abuse and threats to hurt themselves if I don't do as they say. Exhausted. But I have to always be "Fine". 🥲
Bro I swear to god I’ll never watch another video, I watched two of your juice wrld reactions and thought well this guy kinda ruins the experience by pausing it every five seconds but at least his reactions are solid and enjoyable to hear, but this was actually unbearable, we want your perspective and we wanna hear what you think but we also want you to hear the song before you portray everything, stopping with each verse every 3 words is f wild bro, like dam let nf cook a bit then react, im not tryna tell you how to do what you do but im saying personally I can’t do it bro, like it’s insane, your opinion is awesome and i think you could really have a huge impact on people if you learn how to combine your thoughts and then express your voice after maybe 30-45 seconds rather then every single word he says has to be disected, it’s not a reaction if your talking through the entire video. Idk man I wish you the best but boy did this ruin it for me, nf and juice are my absolute favorite artists and hero’s and if your gonna react even from a professional standpoint at least let the artist say a verse before you talk about it. One verse. 30 seconds. That’s all anyone asks, i wanna hear what you have to say but you stop it so so frequently that i end up having to skip forward, sometimes your facial reaction to the words says more then actual words ever could. Then saying something after is icing 🧁 on top, expecially being as intellectual as you sound, but this ain’t it bro. 💯🤜🏻🤛🏻
Hey, he said in the description that he was pausing the music video more often than in his other videos, because he thought that It might help with the copywriter issues (It didn't help in the end) he gets when he records these videos. He isn't making any money off of these video because of the music, but he's doing this for us and for himself. Usually in his other videos, he doesn't pause it as much (yes, he does pause it a lot, but that's the point of these videos) If you didn't want to hear his opinion on the music, then click off off the video. This guy is amazing and honestly he has helped me really understand pieces of music. Also cmon man don't swear to God over a RUclips video.

In my personal opinion, you need not worry about the length of videos that are so helpful to people. Thank you for your effort! Much appreciated!
Loved the commentary on this video. It's probably one of Nate's most powerful songs. Got goosebumps in the 1st verse. How can you hate something that is helping people. 🖤🤍
It's an amazing song, your reactions are informative, I love when I get notified that you've got a new reaction up😊
@TherapistReactsOfficial be prepared. How could you leave us is next. One of his most emotional & heavy songs.

Some of the things you said in this video both resonated with me and helped me process certain things from my own past. Thank you
(especially the stuff about taking on other peoples' traumas)
Please keep going on the NF Journey. I'd love to hear your perspective on ALL of his tracks! #nfrealmusic

I wouldn’t be able to film the first listen though as you can’t just upload the whole video with no stopping unfortunately.
