I have noticed that a different shot report music track is played randomly after each site. When I was putting together the BBS music, I used the arcade version when you get all three, the perfect site music plays. I just find it interesting that the shot reports are randomly played in the Sure Shot version.
RandomAccessGamer yeah I find that interesting too. It doesn’t follow the arcade version exactly; the music was one example, as random music plays regardless of whether or not you get a perfect site. However, another weird thing is that the Bonuses are random and aren’t assigned to their respective continents (you could have an Australian bonus in an African adventure as seen in my Sable video). The arcade version of Safari Outback has Bonuses randomized too, but they were locked to their respective continents. Also, the same music plays before every Bonus (except Snake Charmer, which plays one piece of Indian music) regardless of which continent it was originally locked to. The thing I personally find the most weird, however, is that the Crabwalk Bonus and the Jumbo Drop Kick Bonus are both narrated by the wrong voice. In the arcade version, Crabwalk was narrated by the African voice but it’s narrated by the Australian voice in this version. Also, in the arcade version, Jumbo Drop Kick Bonus was narrated by the Indian voice but it’s narrated by the African voice here (he also just says Jumbo Drop instead of Jumbo Drop Kick). You may also notice that the Site Select music is the same for every continent (in the Big Buck Safari OST Site Select 1 video, the only version that used that music for site select was the 2011 plug n play game). Sorry for the really long reply, I just happened to point out the other abnormalities that weren’t in the arcade version of Outback
