I was there. .2003 St. Louis. Words are not enough to describe this revival that spilled into downtown, the hotel, the shops, and even the airport. Wow. Same for Tampa 2002.
I was there and it was spiritual. Demons being casted.... people vomiting as bad spirits leaving from them in the area where I sat. It was overwhelming, but happy to have seen and experience. I know God is real and He is might and stronger. I saw God's children of all colors being mighty for God.
How is this Biblical? Did this woman preach on the need to repent of sin and receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour or did she preach what people want to hear? Did she encourage people to spend time in the Word? If they did read their Bible they might discover Miss Bynum is a false teacher. Stop speaking in tongues without an interpreter!
Yes, she did preach on repentance. In fact, a good part of the message used the illustration of the brazen altar upon which we are to lay ourselves daily. She preached a holy life lived according to the Word of God and his Spirit. And listen, God confirmed the message with demonstration of his power. The kind of power that brings the fear of the Lord into the building. The Bible describes: 1. tongues as a personal prayer language, 2. gift of tongues with interpretation, and 3. tongues of a language unknown to the speaker but known to hearer.
