Maybe an unpopular opinion but I think Nunez will be much more effective as a substitute, like an Origi 2.0. When he's come off the bench this season (e.g. against Newcastle), he has been hard to stop. He's got that hyper-fast speed of play which will work better against a slightly tired defence, and he'll only need to operate at that intensity for 30-40 mins per game. We could've won this game if Gakpo had started, and Nunez came on in the second half because United were quite timid.

It's annoying when our defenders have more shots (and better shots) on target than our forwards... I don't know what's happening with our attackers lately but they seem super uncertain what to do when in the opposite box. And even more frustrating is when they all come as subs, they play better than when starting. It goes to all Nunez, Gakpo, Jota and Diaz. Whenever they are given the chance to start, they bottle it. Our front 3 have been lacking ever since the last international break and they all did very well for their national teams. We were getting lucky by late minute goals to win, but that can't continue forever. They don't seem to be able to break a low block defence and many teams play like that against us. I hope we bounce back next week against Arsenal, otherwise we'll have to settle for top 4 this season and perhaps work on the chemistry in the team to play better.

this is my full analysis on this game, Bare in mind im no professional and my opinion is just an opinion... I think the team that started was in good form and on paper was the best team that LFC had, Klopp worked on it and drew up some amazing overloads but those overloads would have been beneficial if Manchester United came to win at Anfield, they were there to draw and they did that with great esteem. The problem lies between the central Areas, Nuńez missing chances, Szoboszlai not being in top form and Alexander-Arnold's constant repositioning made it difficult for each player to work with each-other instead they played individual football. Everyone was keen on taking long shots when what was needed was nothing more than one goal built from the ground up, Shows we rely heavily on our defence to attack transition and quick counter-pressing, which allowed ten hag to pick this lock and play with a low block. Two players that underperformed massively were Diaz and Szoboszlai, Both have huge ceilings and both are world class but the chances are not yet closing it up for Liverpool, the best concession I have in mind is to play Szoboszlai on the left with Jota once he returns and then let Salah and TAA work with Mac-Allister on the right, this will allow Szoboszlai to use his creativity to provide threat from: cutting in the flanks setting himself up, or passing to Diaz to keep more of a wider approach to then have a low cross towards the striker, and allow TAA to move into those half spaces he loves to provide for an airborne delivery or go for a strike himself, either-way it will be of help! all i ask for is a better performance vs. Arsenal to help us go top of the league!..

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I think Nunez will be much more effective as a substitute, like an Origi 2.0. When he's come off the bench this season (e.g. against Newcastle), he has been hard to stop. He's got that hyper-fast speed of play which will work better against a slightly tired defence, and he'll only need to operate at that intensity for 30-40 mins per game. We could've won this game if Gakpo had started, and Nunez came on in the second half because United were quite timid.
I agree with this, Nunez is far more impactful as a sub. But I am not very convinced with Gakpo, I feel like whenever he starts a game he has a tendency of going missing

It's annoying when our defenders have more shots (and better shots) on target than our forwards... I don't know what's happening with our attackers lately but they seem super uncertain what to do when in the opposite box. And even more frustrating is when they all come as subs, they play better than when starting. It goes to all Nunez, Gakpo, Jota and Diaz. Whenever they are given the chance to start, they bottle it.
Our front 3 have been lacking ever since the last international break and they all did very well for their national teams. We were getting lucky by late minute goals to win, but that can't continue forever. They don't seem to be able to break a low block defence and many teams play like that against us.
I hope we bounce back next week against Arsenal, otherwise we'll have to settle for top 4 this season and perhaps work on the chemistry in the team to play better.

We need proper number 10 or false 9 who is good at creating attacking chances in creative way. The front three is not working or gelling properly. They are behaving like individuals. The passes that we have seen in past from Salah to mane, one touch passes between Salah & firmino, mane to Salah had 10x quality than what we had in yesterday’s final third. Our attacking coaches need to train our men a lot for rest of season
I miss Matip so much. Games like this where opponents sit deep in their box , he actually makes difference by driving the ball towards their goal and does it better than our midfield. Another thing the constant crossing of the ball when no one is in the box , play the ball and go on score. Such matches are going to be costly come at the end of the season.

The only thing I don't like about Liverpool game play is that they only rely on selected players to shoot and out of those few can't shoot and few can't shoot on target. Am 200% sure that Endo would have scored.
Just when I thought everything is back on track we pull out performances such as this one. We should have scored 3-4 easily. We've been struggling to score all season and that is amazing considering the number of goals we have scored.

Diaz and Nunez aren’t performing. Nunez especially, he holds up play stupidly and makes the wrong choices, he’s always caught in two minds and chooses the wrong option. Diaz loses the ball too much trying to dribble past defenders, i respect the attempt but he should stop forcing it. Szobo played really poorly and Klopp should’ve subbed him off from the beginning of the second half. this is my full analysis on this game, Bare in mind im no professional and my opinion is just an opinion...
I think the team that started was in good form and on paper was the best team that LFC had, Klopp worked on it and drew up some amazing overloads but those overloads would have been beneficial if Manchester United came to win at Anfield, they were there to draw and they did that with great esteem. The problem lies between the central Areas, Nuńez missing chances, Szoboszlai not being in top form and Alexander-Arnold's constant repositioning made it difficult for each player to work with each-other instead they played individual football. Everyone was keen on taking long shots when what was needed was nothing more than one goal built from the ground up, Shows we rely heavily on our defence to attack transition and quick counter-pressing, which allowed ten hag to pick this lock and play with a low block. Two players that underperformed massively were Diaz and Szoboszlai, Both have huge ceilings and both are world class but the chances are not yet closing it up for Liverpool, the best concession I have in mind is to play Szoboszlai on the left with Jota once he returns and then let Salah and TAA work with Mac-Allister on the right, this will allow Szoboszlai to use his creativity to provide threat from: cutting in the flanks setting himself up, or passing to Diaz to keep more of a wider approach to then have a low cross towards the striker, and allow TAA to move into those half spaces he loves to provide for an airborne delivery or go for a strike himself, either-way it will be of help! all i ask for is a better performance vs. Arsenal to help us go top of the league!..
