I relate to this drama a lot. I have two kids (one just graduated college, one in high school) and have been married 25 years. Many ups and downs, fights and separation. Some how, we survived it all and at 50 years old. I really appreciate my life more everyday. Life is really too short, and you only get one. I survived cancer, and my wife was right there fighting with me. My main purpose in life is I want to leave this world knowing I was a good husband and good father. I want nothing else.

My mom became a mother when she was 18 too. As we grow up, she grow up together with us. There's so much things she didn't get to do. Every now and then i've always hope she will be able to do what she really want to do. She never got to enjoy her youth and i kinda feel bad for her. This drama reminded me a lot of her. Mom you are the best mother. I love you.

You had to grab any work opportunities to make both ends meet. People would mock you for being a young mom and say things behind your back. I had to swallow them all. I'd see my friends going to school, and achieving their dreams, and I had lots of what-ifs on my mind. We've been through ups and downs but chose not to give up on each other. Now, my husband and I have been together for 15 years and we both have a stable job that can provide greatly for our family. The beginning is always the hardest so you should stay strong and never let other people's words affect you. Just keep going! Fighting!!

I don’t know many times I have commented this but this song and drama are absolutely stunning and well written. Can’t help but cry everytime I hear it. I can see the umbrella scene where young Dae Young shields his little kids from the rain while he’s drenched by the rain. And also the scene where he ran with little Shi Ah in his arms to the hospital. The fact that Lee Do Hyun is still a rookie but his acting skills are like that of a veteran actor. Huge props to him. After Hotel Del Luna and 18 Again, I’m really looking forward to his next projects knowing how he will become the next big thing. Rooting for you, Do hyun!

18 again is one of the best dramas of 2020. Even if you’re a mother, father, daughter, or son, the drama is very relatable and touching. I think there’s no episode that I didn’t cry especially when the epilogue is showing and then Hello will start playing in the background. I’m not kidding when I said I cried a lot. The casts and their acting, the storyline, the ost and everything are so perfect.
I just recently binged-watched this, because this has been on my pending K-drama list. This is one of my most relatable drama I have watched. When I finished watching this, I immediately thought of my mom. She's really young when she became a mom, she's also 18 when she gave birth to my older sister. She didn't even finished or graduated high school because of her early pregnancy. I suddenly wondered how is she felt of not doing the things she likes, her dreams that could've been amazing that will make her genuinely happy. She also doesn't have the chance to get a job, she never really experienced even once to work outside. She's been like our shadow, wherever we are she's there, always took care of us and loving us unconditionally. It's aching to see that she spends her life inside our house, it's tough to know what are her passions in life that she didn't let it live because of us. She never got the chance to spend and enjoy her youth days. I know it's hard for her, but she kept being strong for us (her children) despite of being cheated on so many times by our father but still choose to forgive and forget, so that our family won't separate just like how she experienced when she was a kid. Mom, you have no idea how much I adore you for being a woman, mom, parent, and a friend. God knows how much I want to give you the best life so that it pays off all of the things you've sacrificed and endured just for us. I love you more than anyone, Ma!
18 Again made me empathize with each of the characters. The amount of feelings the drama gave me was so complex, that even listening to this OST would send me into a surge of emotions. To have this kind of effect from a film to a viewer is very powerful. I really had to self-reflect about how I treated my family and how I never actually know what each one is going through, especially my father. Kudos to the entire cast and staff who made this drama!

Ikr it's less popular than it's okay to not be okay drama. It's not like that drama doesn't deserve recognition, it's a great drama, but 18 again is more than lovey dovey scenes, it's an important and real messages about our world today. This drama makes people mature and can improve lives of many people. I also discovered that the ost singer parents divorced when she was in high school, and I'm sure this song is meaningful to her.

Lee Do Hyun is indeed a best actor (he won best new actor for this btw). He literally made me cry if he cries. I honestly saw Jung Hae In (my fave actor also) in him, the way he acts. The scenes when this song played in the drama helped engraved it in my brain. This song is so good, every time I listened to it, there was always this special feeling in my heart. And 18 Again is such an underrated series. It taught me something precious. Just want to thank the whole team who created this drama.

i told my mom to watch this drama because its not only a kdrama like others, but this drama is different it talks about life, marriage, regrets, and how to decide wisely, then she doesn' t like to watch it because its a KDRAMA, i mean this drama is for everybody, this drama is not about only teenage lovestory but the chemistry and the gap between the main characters. It's a drama that will let your tears fall, even my brother, he is not into watching KDRAMA but only ANIME, then he watched with me and said that this drama made him cry, because of not only how good the actors are but also the story of the drama. This drama taught me lessons like not to regret your decision and think about it before deciding because it may lead you to sadness and pain, especially not knowing that you did not know that your partner did all of that for you, for your family, its because people don't speak up, and not telling their partners if they are struggling, how they feel, and you just get the wrong idea and lead to break ups, so you need to hear them, and know the reason

This fucking drama is a tear-jerking one. It just shows a lot about fathers (also mothers). In the series, they portrayed different types of fathers in the world. It is easy to be a father but not to be a Papa. You know the difference I am talking about. The scene where Dae young and his father met each other's eyes, they already knew what's happening. His father did not even asked him why he still looks young after 18 years but what's important for him is he finally meet his only family, his son. On the other note, Dae Young. He hides the truth from his wife so he won't make her worry. He got soaked up with tireness, pain, sufferings, regrets and so that made him say and do things that hurt his wife and children. The very story of this series is all about regrets. Even Dae Young's father, he regretted not telling him his mother's condition. We must stay honest with our loved ones no matter what. When we hide the truth to keep them from being safe, we might even hurt the other more. Do not do things that you might regret. Be honest with your family. Tell them how much you are suffering. Tell them how much you love them. Tell them what you are going through. You might hear the words you are longing for. Do you know why many are scared of death? It's because they are scared that they might die with Regrets one day. Do not live like that. Be honest with others and with yourself.

며칠 전에 다 봤는데 정말 예술 작품이고 내가 가장 좋아하는 작품 중 하나인데 어제는 같은 배우 이도현의 "좋은 나쁜 엄마"라는 시리즈를 막 끝냈습니다.
항상 틀에 갇혀 나 자신에 아픔만 생각하고 타인,가족의 아픔에 대해 우리가 얼마나 몰랐는지 알게해주는 드라마 였음 다른사람은 어땠을지 모르겠지만 나에겐 그랬음 난 항상 내가 가장 힘들다고 생각했었음 그러니 남의 아픔을 신경쓸 여유 같은건 없다고 생각했었는데 그게 얼마나 나에게도 가족에게도 아픔이란걸 몰랐었음 이 드라마 덕분에 알게됨

My mom became a mother when she was 18 too. As we grow up, she grow up together with us. There's so much things she didn't get to do. Every now and then i've always hope she will be able to do what she really want to do. She never got to enjoy her youth and i kinda feel bad for her. This drama reminded me a lot of her. I'd see my friends going to school, and achieving their dreams, and I had lots of what-ifs on my mind. We've been through ups and downs but chose not to give up on each other. Now, my husband and I have been together for 15 years and we both have a stable job that can provide greatly for our family. The beginning is always the hardest so you should stay strong and never let other people's words affect you. Just keep going! Fighting!!

I don’t know many times I have commented this but this song and drama are absolutely stunning and well written. Can’t help but cry everytime I hear it. I can see the umbrella scene where young Dae Young shields his little kids from the rain while he’s drenched by the rain. And also the scene where he ran with little Shi Ah in his arms to the hospital.
The fact that Lee Do Hyun is still a rookie but his acting skills are like that of a veteran actor. Huge props to him. After Hotel Del Luna and 18 Again, I’m really looking forward to his next projects knowing how he will become the next big thing. Rooting for you, Do hyun!

the most perfect drama ive ever seen....the detail and storyline was just too strong...the performance especially from Do Hyun really caught me...he's really good when it comes to emotion
For me, 18 Again has the most satisfying storyline among all the kdramas I've ever watched. It taught me that in life, happy endings aren't supposed to be perfect and flawless. Everyday we make our own happy endings by learning from our mistakes, forgiving, expressing our love to our loved ones, leaving no room for regrets. I love this drama to the core!❤️

18 again is one of the best dramas of 2020. Even if you’re a mother, father, daughter, or son, the drama is very relatable and touching. I think there’s no episode that I didn’t cry especially when the epilogue is showing and then Hello will start playing in the background. I’m not kidding when I said I cried a lot. The casts and their acting, the storyline, the ost and everything are so perfect.

I just recently binged-watched this, because this has been on my pending K-drama list.
This is one of my most relatable drama I have watched. When I finished watching this, I immediately thought of my mom.
She's really young when she became a mom, she's also 18 when she gave birth to my older sister. She didn't even finished or graduated high school because of her early pregnancy. I suddenly wondered how is she felt of not doing the things she likes, her dreams that could've been amazing that will make her genuinely happy. She also doesn't have the chance to get a job, she never really experienced even once to work outside. She's been like our shadow, wherever we are she's there, always took care of us and loving us unconditionally. It's aching to see that she spends her life inside our house, it's tough to know what are her passions in life that she didn't let it live because of us. She never got the chance to spend and enjoy her youth days. I know it's hard for her, but she kept being strong for us (her children) despite of being cheated on so many times by our father but still choose to forgive and forget, so that our family won't separate just like how she experienced when she was a kid. Mom, you have no idea how much I adore you for being a woman, mom, parent, and a friend. God knows how much I want to give you the best life so that it pays off all of the things you've sacrificed and endured just for us. I love you more than anyone, Ma!

18 Again made me empathize with each of the characters. The amount of feelings the drama gave me was so complex, that even listening to this OST would send me into a surge of emotions. To have this kind of effect from a film to a viewer is very powerful. I really had to self-reflect about how I treated my family and how I never actually know what each one is going through, especially my father. Kudos to the entire cast and staff who made this drama!

Ikr it's less popular than it's okay to not be okay drama. It's not like that drama doesn't deserve recognition, it's a great drama, but 18 again is more than lovey dovey scenes, it's an important and real messages about our world today. This drama makes people mature and can improve lives of many people. I also discovered that the ost singer parents divorced when she was in high school, and I'm sure this song is meaningful to her.

i told my mom to watch this drama because its not only a kdrama like others, but this drama is different it talks about life, marriage, regrets, and how to decide wisely, then she doesn' t like to watch it because its a KDRAMA, i mean this drama is for everybody, this drama is not about only teenage lovestory but the chemistry and the gap between the main characters. 첨엔 고백부부랑 스토리도 비슷하고 출연진도 겹치고 ost 노래까지 소향님이 부르셔서 공통접이 참 비슷하다.생각했던 드라마였어요 그런데 정주행하고나니 매력이 다른드라마였네요 고백부부는 고백부부대로 18어게인은 이드라마의 매력을 알게해주었어요 결론은 둘다 꿀잼.. 눈물 나는 드라마네요ㅠ
This fucking drama is a tear-jerking one. It just shows a lot about fathers (also mothers). In the series, they portrayed different types of fathers in the world. It is easy to be a father but not to be a Papa. You know the difference I am talking about. The scene where Dae young and his father met each other's eyes, they already knew what's happening. His father did not even asked him why he still looks young after 18 years but what's important for him is he finally meet his only family, his son.
On the other note, Dae Young. He hides the truth from his wife so he won't make her worry. He got soaked up with tireness, pain, sufferings, regrets and so that made him say and do things that hurt his wife and children. The very story of this series is all about regrets. Even Dae Young's father, he regretted not telling him his mother's condition.
We must stay honest with our loved ones no matter what. When we hide the truth to keep them from being safe, we might even hurt the other more. Do not do things that you might regret. Be honest with your family. Tell them how much you are suffering. Tell them how much you love them. Tell them what you are going through. You might hear the words you are longing for. Do you know why many are scared of death? It's because they are scared that they might die with Regrets one day. Do not live like that. Be honest with others and with yourself.

For those who have not watched this drama yet, it's not just an emotional one where you are to cry all the time.. It has all the emotions where you laugh, cry and realize a lot of things in life especially about family..It has too many emotional scenes with a good life lesson.🥀💔🌸🥺

This drama is soo real like it is actually happening in this world and it gives you so many feels!! Like literally we can relate to this as our parents do so much for us and we don't even realize it!!
