This is just a HUNCH but I feel like sykunno was almost pro but the stress of competition could’ve gotten too him and now he just games for fun and friends instead of the toxic lifestyle that is PRO GAMING
He probably has the skill and dedication, but self-confidence issues and parental pressures probably prevented him from doing so. He has a bachelor's in math and masters in stats, so yeah he's fucking smart, plus he's actually pretty naturally good at most games he plays (just pepega brained sometimes), so he probably is just one of those innately talented people who are inherently timid. They always say, "It the quiet one you have to look out for." Look at TenZ, Skadoodle, Brax, Shroud, etc. all pretty quiet and unassuming dudes. Sykkuno just went the most common route.

But now he does a great job balancing on giving to chat and having his own personal decisions. Even if he doesnt join otv, which i doubt he will. Moving in with them was such a great turning point for sykkuno.
He can play really well when he puts his mind to it. I remember hearing about this one game he played where he annihilated the other Valorant team just because they were making fun of one of his friends.
