Hi Ara🌺, I hope you are nourishing yourself well with the continued snow and cold weather in South Korea☃️. For me, at this time of year, I would be half way through the first term and dreaming about the Easter holidays🐰 if I was still in school. But I too finished long ago. Still, I get asked a lot what I will be/ am studying in university... I finished that long ago too, Haha🤣🤣🤣🤣. My mum is a professor and a vice-dean, and a lot of my family are teachers, so we actually talk quite often about what students are going through. Journaling makes me think of fond school memories. I remember when we would decorate our homework diaries 📖( it was a rule to have one to write down assignments, etc so you couldn't say that you forgot to do your homework). Actually, I would say that we decorated them like people do with journaling or bullet-journaling. I remember that we would keep track over things like how many books we read that year like it was a competition📚📚. I also over- decorated my schoolbooks, colouring in the pictures, drawing elaborate patterned frames around worksheets and sometimes writing notes twice so that my work looked prettier.✏✒🖌🖍📝✂️ One of my longest friendships started over stationery: my friend who was in my class sold me a Leonardo DiCaprio postcard🤣 and we stayed acquaintances through school, but became good friends in university. I think I still have the postcard in one of my memory boxes! I was almost always early at school, because my parents would drop me off early. It carried onto my work-life. I prefer to be too early, and be relaxed. But I've learned I can only do that for something I want to do😅, but if it's not important, then I will be just on time. I saw that peach tape set🍑 the other day! I wanted to get it, but the shipping prices to my country are still ridiculous for some stores on Aliexpress( $50+). I put it on my wishlist, so I'll keep checking to see if it's a better shipping price. But I found some similar strawberry and chocolate theme washi. I'm getting those since they ship to my country with a good price( my washi collection is growing😊). The holo-effect Polaroid stickers were also very pretty. I also liked how well you created knitted texture on the pull-over sweater you drew. Oh, I finally drank my own chamomile tea from my flowers the other day: I would recommend growing it to try making your own tea. The tea tastes and smells more floral and sweet. I felt like I understood why bees like these flowers a lot. 🐝 Thank you for the vlog this week. You made me think of some memories in a good light. Keep well and safe💐

I used to go to Oregon for a vacation and we'd sometimes go check out the thrift stores. I remember seeing a lot of stationary, but I never bought them bc I didn't have any use for them. I plan on going this year and checking the thrift stores. That's if they're still there
For the water based pen brushes like Tombow (which I also use very often) it is best to first paint the drawing with normal color pencils for a base and the give it shade and life with the Tombow brush pens, that way there won't be unpleasant lines of the brush pen and also the color will pop alot more and it will look very lively ! Oh and btw I totally love what you do! I'm an artist but I have never journaled before and watching your videos kind of make me want to start journaling too!
Ah yes going to school in the 90s and 00s was totally different than how it is nowadays. So many things are digital now and on tablets. My school diary was very colorful I used different colors of pens for homework for each class and it was also covered with pictures of idols and other cute things. I remember going through the tv guide paper and noting in my diary which cool movie was broadcasted on which date so I could tape it on VCR!
@Virág Marton i think it's more important that you're having fun in creating the content with different kind of pens and colors for yourself. And practice makes perfect if you do it often but keep having fun in the process 😊

중간에 하신 말씀 저도 정말 공감해요.. 내가 어떻게 밤 열한시까지의 야자를 견디고 밤열두시넘게 학원차를 타고다니고 주말도 없이 학교를가고 아침 7시까지 학교를 가다니... 저는 그래서 학창시절로는 절대 돌아가고싶지않아요 하지만 그후의 캠퍼스생활은 진심으로 달콤했습니다 오히려 공부는 대학때 더 많이 했지만요 오늘 영상도 잘봤어요^^

벌써 2월 끝자락이니 그렇군요... 새학기가 시작될 때가 되었다니 시간이 정말 빠른 것 같아요. 교복을 입던 때에는 매 해마다 새학기가 되면 색색깔의 형광펜을 그렇게도 사 모았던 기억이 있어요. 또, 친구들과 학교가 끝난 다음 곧바로 떡볶이를 먹으러 갈지 햄버거를 먹으러 갈지 매번 열심히도 고민했던 기억이 나네요ㅎㅎ. 새삼 제 체중 증량의 원인이 거기 있었다는걸 깨달아 버렸어요😭😭 아라님이 대학 신입생일 때는 구두에 치마가 유행했군요! 잘 생각해보니 제 신입생 시절에도 정말 화사하게 꾸미고 다니던 친구들이 많았던 것 같은데... 저는 1교시가 너무 많았던 통학생이었던지라 거의 일주일 만에 꾸밈을 포기하고 최대한 빨리 준비할 수 있는 옷을 주로 입게 되었던 것 같아요ㅋㅋ 게다가 이후로는 코로나로 아예 캠퍼스를 거닐지 못하게 되어 힘들었던 통학을 그리워하게 되었네요. 과잠을 입고 나간 날보다 덩그러니 옷걸이에 걸려있는 날이 훨씬 많아질 거라고는 정말 누가 알았을까요. 정말 캠퍼스가 그리워지네요. 이번 영상도 홀로 추억을 떠올리며 재미있게 보았습니다. 늘 감사합니다🥰🥰👍

Actually, I would say that we decorated them like people do with journaling or bullet-journaling. I remember that we would keep track over things like how many books we read that year like it was a competition📚📚. I also over- decorated my schoolbooks, colouring in the pictures, drawing elaborate patterned frames around worksheets and sometimes writing notes twice so that my work looked prettier.✏✒🖌🖍📝✂️
One of my longest friendships started over stationery: my friend who was in my class sold me a Leonardo DiCaprio postcard🤣 and we stayed acquaintances through school, but became good friends in university. I think I still have the postcard in one of my memory boxes!
I was almost always early at school, because my parents would drop me off early. It carried onto my work-life. I prefer to be too early, and be relaxed. But I've learned I can only do that for something I want to do😅, but if it's not important, then I will be just on time.
I saw that peach tape set🍑 the other day! I wanted to get it, but the shipping prices to my country are still ridiculous for some stores on Aliexpress( $50+). I put it on my wishlist, so I'll keep checking to see if it's a better shipping price. But I found some similar strawberry and chocolate theme washi. I'm getting those since they ship to my country with a good price( my washi collection is growing😊). The holo-effect Polaroid stickers were also very pretty.
I also liked how well you created knitted texture on the pull-over sweater you drew.
Oh, I finally drank my own chamomile tea from my flowers the other day: I would recommend growing it to try making your own tea. The tea tastes and smells more floral and sweet. I felt like I understood why bees like these flowers a lot. 🐝

A lot of people have stopped making diaries, but we are still enjoying it💕📚

I used to go to Oregon for a vacation and we'd sometimes go check out the thrift stores. I remember seeing a lot of stationary, but I never bought them bc I didn't have any use for them. I plan on going this year and checking the thrift stores. That's if they're still there
For the water based pen brushes like Tombow (which I also use very often) it is best to first paint the drawing with normal color pencils for a base and the give it shade and life with the Tombow brush pens, that way there won't be unpleasant lines of the brush pen and also the color will pop alot more and it will look very lively !
Oh and btw I totally love what you do! I'm an artist but I have never journaled before and watching your videos kind of make me want to start journaling too!

Ah yes going to school in the 90s and 00s was totally different than how it is nowadays. So many things are digital now and on tablets. My school diary was very colorful I used different colors of pens for homework for each class and it was also covered with pictures of idols and other cute things. I remember going through the tv guide paper and noting in my diary which cool movie was broadcasted on which date so I could tape it on VCR!

중간에 하신 말씀 저도 정말 공감해요.. 내가 어떻게 밤 열한시까지의 야자를 견디고 밤열두시넘게 학원차를 타고다니고 주말도 없이 학교를가고 아침 7시까지 학교를 가다니... 저는 그래서 학창시절로는 절대 돌아가고싶지않아요
하지만 그후의 캠퍼스생활은 진심으로 달콤했습니다 오히려 공부는 대학때 더 많이 했지만요 오늘 영상도 잘봤어요^^

벌써 2월 끝자락이니 그렇군요... 새학기가 시작될 때가 되었다니 시간이 정말 빠른 것 같아요. 교복을 입던 때에는 매 해마다 새학기가 되면 색색깔의 형광펜을 그렇게도 사 모았던 기억이 있어요. 또, 친구들과 학교가 끝난 다음 곧바로 떡볶이를 먹으러 갈지 햄버거를 먹으러 갈지 매번 열심히도 고민했던 기억이 나네요ㅎㅎ. 새삼 제 체중 증량의 원인이 거기 있었다는걸 깨달아 버렸어요😭😭 아라님이 대학 신입생일 때는 구두에 치마가 유행했군요! 잘 생각해보니 제 신입생 시절에도 정말 화사하게 꾸미고 다니던 친구들이 많았던 것 같은데... 저는 1교시가 너무 많았던 통학생이었던지라 거의 일주일 만에 꾸밈을 포기하고 최대한 빨리 준비할 수 있는 옷을 주로 입게 되었던 것 같아요ㅋㅋ 게다가 이후로는 코로나로 아예 캠퍼스를 거닐지 못하게 되어 힘들었던 통학을 그리워하게 되었네요. 과잠을 입고 나간 날보다 덩그러니 옷걸이에 걸려있는 날이 훨씬 많아질 거라고는 정말 누가 알았을까요. 정말 캠퍼스가 그리워지네요. 이번 영상도 홀로 추억을 떠올리며 재미있게 보았습니다. 늘 감사합니다🥰🥰👍
