We'll be getting some 3x4s shipped to Canada when we are ready. The 2' ones are just a little short for the 650mm bags. Two Envirco 2x4 main filters cost me $2400 CAD shipped to Canada (just the filters!).
Would you film a video showing a flame near the flow? say 2", 6, as well as 12" away? Near the corners and edges, as well as the middle? They look great, unfortunately we cannot see the performance. I would love to buy your product, but need assurance the performance is the same as a 6" hepa high merv rated designed flow hood. These FFU's have a reputation of inconsistent laminar flow due to the fan being directed the way it is. Thanks!
I just purchased an Envirco Mac 10 off eBay. The filter manufacture date is December 2016, so it's about 5 years old. The fan motor directs air into a baffle, that forces the air to go towards the left and right, then into the space behind the HEPA filter. Using an anemometer, I was getting air velocity readings in the center against the grill of 0.6 - 0.7 m/s, and on the edges those readings were 1.0 - 1.1 m/s. At 6" away from the grill surface, I got 0.4 m/s in the center and on left side I got 0.6 - 0.7 m/s and on the right side I got 0.7 - 0.8 m/s. So there is definitely a difference in air flow sides verses middle, but my thinking is that you'd actually want better air flow on the edges as a sort of air flow barrier to particulate.
Hi Tony, you looked into how to access the flow rates of your unit over time? I bought an FFU (Envirco Mac 10) off eBay. It was manufactured in December 2016, so it's about 5 years old. Looks pristine, works great, no issues, but my anemometer is getting readings off the grill (placing the anemometer directly against the FFU filter surface) of 0.8 - 1.1 m/s. At 6" away from the grill (where I'd be doing most of my work), I have air velocities of 0.6 - 0.7 m/s on the left side, 0.7 - 0.8 m/s on the right, and only 0.4 m/s in the center at 6" away. That's 80cfm if my calculations are correct. Seems slightly low. Thoughts?
thanks so much Eric for sharing and all the hard work. I am wondering about one thing, where did you buy you impulse heat sealer? the one you use now in your lab?
Eric! Stoked to see you got the filter units ready! Regarding your barrel sterilizers you link to, can they pasteurize at 180 as well instead of full sterilization? Thanks!
Hey super interested in grabbing one. Seeing if the shipping time was less for people closer to ks? Because I can drive down and pick it up in my truck ?
Price is on the website and it fluctuates over time. Laminar flow isn't even a term used by top cleanroom operators such as NASA. Check their manuals and you can see yourself. We no longer sell these Chinese units and now sell US made units that are far superior.
RUclips is at it again they are blocking my website links on all channels. It's myersmushrooms is the website and ill have them listed again in 2-3 weeks.
Hi!! I'd love to buy one of the 2'x4' one I emailed you from kensho sight. Please let me know how long it would take to arrive and how much Shipping for my area!! Thank you so much
We have them in stock and they typically arive in about a week since we now ship freight. If you would like a freight quote you can shoot us an email to myersmushrooms@ gmail.com

The price is reasonable based on my opinion and experience. Looks like its got a good design.
These are just wonderful. That 2x4 will be perfect for me

@@silverleapers $2400 for filters? I'm too broke for the box the filters came in
I bet there's a good story there when your spawn flew into the flow hood, and your hair really ties the room together.
lol got that rona haircut going.

Just got mine and so far so good. Good price for a good product
How long did it take
A few weeks there were some delays

This are crap and don't work
Which type of hepa should I use? Deep pleated one or mini pleated one? I contacted a filter manufacturer and they are asking me the same question ⁉️
Does it have laminar flow or just HEPA filtration
Correct me if I'm wrong but HEPA FFU's are not necessarily Laminar Flow.
Are these units Laminar Flow?
Where are the 3’x4’ filters couldn’t Find them on the site
Why can't I use the sterlizer on mushroom grow????? What do I use then?

Awesome products, bruh
is that an 8 or 12 inch fan?
what size is the pre-filter?

A company where I live(somewhere in Europe) is making FFU-s and the air speed is only 0.45m/s. Is that enough for horizontal laminar flow?

Hello, where can I find pricing for these?

Hi Eric. I’m wanting a 3x4. Any idea when they will be back in stock? Thanks
Awesome 3x4, I must have!, but your website says they aren’t available.
When will you have more?
Keep up the good work!.👍🏻
i know im dying for one to be available
How has the market for FFUs been in your region? I'm planning on having some built and selling then in my region (near Toronto, Canada).
could you flip the unit vertical for bag work?
Yes, you could, though you'd want a way to stabilize it, it would be top heavy in that orientation.
Air science has a nicely priced reliable true flow hood(vertical)
Couldn’t you just stand the 2x4 on end when doing bags to make it a 4x2 instead of needing a 3x4?
Did I miss the prices?
Prices and even products change. We no longer sell these inferior Chinese units but now sell us made units off our website myersmushrooms dot com
What's the difference between these and the $550 ones on ebay?
The ones we currently sell are made in the USA. Check out my newer video showcasing them. You get what you pay for.
The man 👊🏻
can i ask you what size fan motor your using for the 2 x 4?
It's a fan designed for the FFU housing. It's an integrated part, the body is part of the fan shroud.
How do we purchase these
I have units on my website
Hey super interested in grabbing one. Seeing if the shipping time was less for people closer to ks? Because I can drive down and pick it up in my truck ?
it would be around 80-100 bucks or free if you pick it up.
Can you ship this product to Mexico?
I notice you not answering any questions about price or actual laminar flow? Hmmmm?
