as someone who works for Dyson in the hair care area, the Airstrait it’s a tricky product and they tell us to explain the machine as a more natural finish type of hair, you pay for the technology really, it doesn’t damage your hair as much because of the double function, but yeah their products are not for every type of hair (sorry for the broken english tho)

There is definitely a learning curve with the air straight. If you do it right though - you hardly need to flat iron it.
When you start you have to close the air straight and blow the roots with tension. Then open it and do 3 passes. No damage. Your hair will be STRAIGHT. No bend. At all.

If you don’t have the revelon blow dryer you should get it because it brushes straightens and drys your hair all in one it works really good and fast the only thing that I don’t like is that it doesn’t get rid of the frizz

Do the low lights while your hair is lighter. And then afterwards if you want to go darker all over you can.

I am mixed like you you have to blow dry your roots first then do the rest of your hair. You would get a a lot slicker look if you do that.
